Sophy paid close attention to every detail and carefully considered my requests, including those related to the driveway. His workmanship, professionalism, and dedication truly stand out. I don't recommend. They estimated the job would take two days, and I took time off work to be present. The problems began at the end of the second day, there was no airflow going into one of the rooms. A second team was sent out to assess the issue two days later, but they were unable to resolve it. Meanwhile, other rooms had excessive airflow making them uncomfortably cold, while some had barely any at all. When I called the office to report these concerns, the representative attempted to upsell me on an additional services. In total, what was estimated as a two-day job took three weeks to resolve. Throughout that time, I had to make repeated calls and persistently follow up just to keep things moving. read more

Air Tech couldn't fix our very old AC so they had to send someone out to get us a quote on replacing it. They sent a guy named Jorge to build a quote. He showed up in the wrong time slot (we requested 9-11 am and he showed up at 7:30 am) and proceeded to arrogantly talk down to me as he attempted to justify a *starting* quote of $24,000 to replace an AC condenser and evaporator coils on a small condo. Complete insanity. Definitely use Air-Tech if you love being talked down to and hate money. read more

Expect to be ripped off and overpay. I was fairly trusting because of the good reviews but just had them repair my AC and was definitely price gouged. The contactor and capacitor needed to be replaced and I was charged $250 for the contactor and $300 for the capacitor. These parts are only $20 and $30. When I brought up my concern for the pricing of parts I was told "that's just they way the business model is and price is increased to cover the warranty and labor. However you also pay $120 for the first hour and about $25/15min after that just for labor EVEN IF you don't go ahead with the repair. They did a very good job pressuring me into going ahead with the work threatening that they would just pull out the components they already had installed (prior to discussing the price with me) and just charge me around $200 for the "diagnostic testing" without fixing it. All said I paid $821for two people working on a project that took less than 2 hours and $50 worth of parts. read more

I had the worst experience with this company. After waiting more than a week for an appointment to have my furnace looked at, the technician came out and didn't bring a tall enough ladder. (I had told them it was a two-story and the compressor was on the roof.) They rescheduled me for 5 days later. 17 hours before my 2nd appt. they canceled my appointment and said they didn't have a tall enough ladder to do the job. Horrible service! Although more expensive than other choices, or even cash based with possible local contacts, it seemed prudent to use a company that would guarantee their work for at least a year. The communications leading up to the service was great. The work was done as promised. There was also one additional follow up needed to ensure there would not be any other problems soon. Given I have worked with HVAC repairs in various parts of the country and Los Angeles, very happy with the qualty of work and customer service. Oh, and my mother is in a seniors-only building of mostly immigrants/Newer Americans, so being able to deal with that dynamic patiently is a plus! read more

First of all, we live in an apartment. Our HVAC unit is on the roof. Air Tech performed a basic HVAC maintenance service that was already prepaid. The technicians were polite and professional, attentive to details too. They recommended a deep HVAC cleaning and to replace our HVAC old ducts In the near future. By our request, they also did some tests on the roof in order to solve some leaks we had. They took longer than expected, so the cost was a little high. (2 hours total) AirTech personnel was very eager to help us, ready to act and knowledgeable. We really appreciate that. Unfortunately they didn't find the cause of the problem. They said the problem was not our HVAC, but probably a crack on the roof. So, they gave us a referral for a roof company. AirTech is a fine company. read more
