A few years ago Bryant Heating & Air did a very clean install of 3 new Carrier HVAC units (5 ton & two 3 ton units. We have been enjoining our Carrier HVAC units (no proprietary parts unlike the Lennox brand) and they have been operating beautifully. Bryant is a brilliant choice for your heating and cooling needs, and I'll tell you why. Our 22-year-old gas/electric HVAC system died suddenly, and we had to figure out what to do. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner, Matt, did a great job of explaining how the technology has changed since our system was installed, and gave us three different pathways to consider--all with our budget constraints in mind.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We also interviewed other vendors to make sure we were getting the best price, a quality install, and that the system which was recommended for us was truly house-appropriate and would not need expensive maintenance. It turns out that Matt was indeed giving us the best price, and everything else checked out as well. The company proved to be fair, honest, punctual, and great at responding to a very minor post-install issue. Watching the crew work was one of my favorite parts. It's clear they really love their work, they take pride in how it turns out, and they exhibited beautiful coordination in terms of how the three men worked together and supported each other. We love our new Carrier heat pump system for heating and cooling our house! Another bonus that I wanted to share is that the install came with a 2-year labor warranty and it may be possible to finance your system so you don't have to pay for it all at once. (Sometimes the system manufacturer, Carrier, has promotions). The last thing I want to share is that my new installed system required an inspection, and the job that was done really impressed the inspector. He told us that he travels all over Southern California checking systems from a variety of providers, and anytime he sees a Bryant install on his job sheet, he knows that it's going to pass. I've been a customer of Bryant Heating and Air for over 10 years and always purchase their annual maintenance plan. Scheduling has always been easy, and they consistently accommodate my availability. Except for one scheduling hiccup last year with a difficult scheduler, they have always been flexible, and their technicians arrive on time and ready to work. Because of the annual maintenance plan, I have never had an issue with my system not working when I needed it. It has given me peace of mind, especially during the hottest and coldest days of the year. Their technicians are professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of my home. Today, Paul came to perform maintenance on my AC system. I had concerns about the drainage of the AC condensation line, and he took the time to remove the trap, clean out the line, and even pointed out an issue with the trap that I wasn't aware of. I asked Paul for a recommendation on a plumber to fix the trap, and he was very helpful. The service he provided was exceptional and above what I expected. One of the reasons I've stayed with Bryant for so long is that I only trust them with my HVAC system. They don't try to sell me anything i don't need, and I appreciate that honesty. Bryant Air overhauled our central AC and heating equipment years ago and did a great job. The owner was patient, professional and gentle. I appreciated that he took the time to come back when we were hearing some odd noises with one of the condenser during startup. My family (specifically one of my parents) can be very difficult to work with, but the Bryant crew were also very patient, professional and worked through the various unique challenges and requests for our house. For the most part, they had a pretty good attitude and focused on the task at hand. It's been several years and everything is still working great and we've not had any problems. 2 weeks ago Johnny and Iran installed a new Carrier Heat Pump HVAC system. It took four days and they did an excellent job removing the old system and installing the new one which took definite experience to execute. They made one cut opening the access point so the equipment could pass through and when they repaired and caulked it, all I need to do is to touch up with some paint. The HERS inspection person came and said just looking at it, that he could tell the installers did a good job and the inspection took only half the time expected with all systems checks passing. They're worth it for their experience and I believe are a company who takes pride in their work and do it with integrity. read more

I started working with Bryant after I was having trouble with the person who installed my unit and replaced a part that was under warranty. Unfortunately, he didn't do a great job installing that replacement part and when he didn't return my calls this is when I found Bryant Heating & Air Conditioning. They got someone over quickly and found my problem was a simple loose wire. I decided in that moment to take part in Bryant's maintenance program (it's like getting oil changes for your car) to make sure my unit stayed in tip top shape. Two years in and there was another issue with the unit. Bryant sent someone over to check it out and Murphy's law kicked in. The unit was operating normally. But because I'm a part of their maintenance program there were no fees for the visit. Of course the unit started acting up again shortly after that visit so Bryant sent one of their senior techs. It wasn't obvious what was happening, but Juan figured it out. The motor was faulty. The unit is still under warranty so the replacement part was immediately ordered and installed a couple days later with minimal labor charges. I'm happy to say that the unit is purring like a kitten again and I will continue to take part in the maintenance program to keep the unit operating smoothly. read more

On time, professional, upbeat and considerate, he went through all three of our systems thoroughly, and when he was through, recommended the replacement of one condensor, at approximately $300. That's a lot cheaper than the replacement of an entire system at over $10,000, which was what another company tried to upsell us before we called Bryant for their second opinion.
