The owner came over, gave me a very reasonable estimate and I actually ended upgrading to a plaster mixed with glass pebbles of different blue colors. Update - After waiting the required time to put the pool sweep back in I found the opening in the side of the pool no longer accepted the pool sweep connection. I informed company/owner and he said he would let his people know the next day. That week went by, no one showed up. When I asked if anyone would be by the following week he said "yes". That week went by, no one showed. Being obvious he had no intention of fixing or making this right, I went ahead and contracted another company to find out what was wrong. Seems the threads were full of plaster and had to be picked and scraped out. Apparently there was zero or not enough precautions taken to make sure this would not happen. When I relayed this to the owner and the amount it cost me his answer was "sorry someone else had to fix his mistake".... wow. UPDATE - Was contacted less than an hour after posting this update by the owner. He is now interested in reimbursing me for the extra cost to fix his mistake if,.... IF I will remove my negative review. The comment from the company that all that was needed was a little bushing out is misleading at best. I was there. I helped. It was not that easy. Update - I am softening this review some as the company has said they have learned a valuable lesson. I pray they have. The facts remain true and accurate. My message remains that I cannot in good faith recommend nor endorse this company a this time. It is not my wish for this company or their employees to endure hardship, but their treatment could not go unreported as I used these same reviews in part when engaging them. This is an update to my earlier review. Much of what I said in my previous review is true. But boy did things go down hill after that. Not to make this personal and keep it professional I will say this. It became, * Sloppy * Sloppy * Sloppy I am not going to go into all the details surrounding our frustrations but I will say that the the brand new pool deck is permanently stained and we have also sealed to our new deck his apoxy paint. I found David on Craigslist. David and his crew showed up each day on time, and ready to work. He and his staff were professional and knowledgeable. My pool was in pretty bad shape. They managed to bust through 2 layers of paint with a pressure washer, sander, grinder, and lots of manual chipping with scraping tools. Everyone was professional and polite and tolerated our son with his obsession with their trucks. He was able to come out and survey the situation in a timely manner, his bid was delivered promtly and at a fair price. Even before the project began David was helpful during my selection of tiles and was able to arrange a nice discount on the tiles for us. The whole pool renovation took place while we were out of town and David was great at keeping me updated every step of the way, with photos and texts. When i found a problem in my hot tub....he came out right way, no hassle, no excuses not only did he repair it, he drained the entire thing and re-did the work.
