At midnight I received the attached text from the Mike the salon owner: "Hi,sorry for texting too late.But i need to tell you something. Doing your nail take me very long time,i dont want to do it,so from now on, please come to another salon to do your nail,thank you!" I am highly disturbed and bothered by his unprofessionalism and lack of business ethics. First of all to contact a customer at that hour is absurd. Secondly, being that he is the nail tech he is in control of the amount of time it takes to complete my nails not me the customer. Third, the text shows a complete lack of courtesy and respect for a longtime paying customer. I never complained about the three hours he took to perform services I was paying for. Not to mention all the times I waited while he would stop to work on another customer, take phone calls or care for his toddler that he brought to the salon. How dare he complain, while he's being paid for the inconvenience of doing his job while i am paying to accept his poor quality service. I guess I'm grateful because this gives me an opportunity to find a nail tech skilled enough to achieve the job in a timely manner while keeping a positive can-do attitude. So much for customer loyalty, I now see it would have been better for me to part ways at the first sight of unprofessionalism. I have gone to the salon for two years and overlooked SEVERAL shortcomings and unprofessional experiences because I liked the way Mike shaped my nails. I now look forward to finding a salon where I can experience quality customer service AND cute coffin shaped nails. After posting my review the attached photo was posted by another "customer" who mysteriously knows who I am and was there every time I got my nails done. Ok PK=Mike or some other staff member if you're not an employee, writing back pretending to be a customer (to offset bad reviews), how would you know who I am (I've watched him do your nails...). My photo isn't posted so no customer is going to make that statement. Another display of unprofessionalism, so sad. 12AM is an innapropriate non-business hour, the same text could have been sent at 9AM the next day. So going forward be aware it is disrespectful to contact your customers outside of business hours. This is your customers outlet to share their experiences, it's my right to express my opinion. You should attempt to avoid a bad review while your customers are in the salon/ before they post... Not here on Yelp pretending to be customer doing damage control. If you'd like to respond to my post do so by logging in under your business profile not using a disguise. My only wish is that this would have occurred sooner... I hate that I've given my money for two years to a salon that would do a lazy job and then say such negative things about their customers (poor personality) while digusing themselves on the internet. The thing about nail salons is that you can't just go once and leave a bad review if you didn't speak up or they brought you a diet coke instead of a regular - just like if you go to dinner once and hate what you order, you say you'll order something different next time. So I've been to this nail salon a few times and with my girl and they have not disappointed. They are gentle, detail-oriented, and opt to make sure you are okay with everything before proceeding. I rarely get my nails done bc I'm so used to bad experiences... but this place changed the game. And even when I did have a nail break off (they were on for way too long - I was just out of town) my real nails were sturdy, long, and strong. Would recommend if you are looking to get nails done but not for a group outing. read more

Do NOT go here for a full set/manicure 1. Two nails have already fallen off within one week. 2. Did not do cuticle care yet I asked why they aren't doing it, she said we do it after applying fake nail, they never did. 3. Did not finish up my nails by cleaning the residue with nail polish remover 4. Did not give me the color I wanted after repeatedly asking for a warmer darker, pink. Everything was alright but nails falling off after less than a week is not okay. Better for you to go else where and pay the same price for them to last longer. Had a great first time experience. Made an appointment for the second time and they made me wait 45 minutes. They kept saying "be right with you". They took a walk in before an appointment. Then I didn't even get what I made an appointment for (mani and pedi. Only for a pedicure). I paid for one of the luxury pedicures and didn't get what I paid for. I didn't get the 15 minute massage with hot stones. I asked and was told they don't do that anymore they count every time they add each item to you (mask, sea salt, etc) as part of the time of the massage. Hmmm NO that's not what is advertised. Great experience. Don was the name of the guy that did my nails. I got American solar for only $25. Don was fast and efficient. Very good work and I am very picky about my manis and pedis. They were short staffed but did a great job multitasking with 3 employees and 5 customers at the time I was there. They offered me a soft drink, water or wine almost immediately, of course I took a glass of wine.:D He offered to drive me home if I wanted more wine haha (joke, I'm sure). Definitely returning! I have a pleasant experience here. I got the deluxe pedicure as a walk in and was seated right away. The lady tried to rush me to pick a color and once I did this gentleman serviced me. He did a thorough job on the pedicure and was friendly. Gave me some suggestions on what to do in Texas. They offer water and have a nice variety of magazines but need more OPI colors! Just had a mani-pedi here, and I must say, it was amazing! They are clean and friendly. My favorite part of any mani-pedi is the massage, and most places rush. Here? They took their time and had me about to fall asleep in the chair! I have a couple gnarly scars on my arm from a car wreck a few years ago, and every manicurist I have been to since then has scrunched up their nose at them and either, not touch my arm or massage it. I can understand the hesitancy to touch someone's bad scar, but to make faces is what bothers me. My manicurist here didn't even hesitate to continue with my manicure. That really showed a lot to me. probably the worst place to get your nails done. i had to go back twice to get them fixed. the first time was the DAY AFTER i got them done and then the second time a few days after. and then 2 days after getting them done a second time two of them break while i'm doing normal activities. i paid like 60$+ for extremely crappy nails. the first time i got them done they were gel and the paint kept chipping and then second time they changed it to regular polish and didn't even cover the nail right. looks see through and not a solid finish. don't waste ur money or time read more

I've been coming to elite nails for probably about 10 years now off and on.. I think for the price there really isn't any better place to go. The "deluxe" pedi is only $30 and it's awesome. I like this better than the pricier place I go to in southlake. I got gel nails for the first time from here today. They didn't keep the acetone on my old gels on too long and they were quick but they look awesome! I definitely recommend this place. All of the employees are polite and kind, and the level of service is exceptional. They offer many options for pedicures, but I have found that even with the basic pedicure, the attention to detail is there, and the massaging is fantastic. The salon is attractive and clean, so the whole experience is pleasant. This salon has some nice small touches, as well, like rolled towels with nail brushes in them by the sink to use when you wash your hands during a manicure, and they usually offer you something to drink.
