First visit as we live out of state. Booked online since we were in town for a family wedding. My daughter and I had pedicures and I had gel manicure at same time. Service was great, sanitary measures taken and very pleased with our nails. They even were kind enough to let us come an hour earlier than appointment because wedding photo times changed. I can't say enough good things about our experience at Elite Nails. My sister is a nail technician and I always am super picky about where we go to have ours done when she is not around. Elite Nails was super super clean, very thorough and relatively inexpensive. It was shocking to me when I got my Mani / Pedi Bill with French tips and it was under $50. I'm only three days in, so I can't say if it will chip or peel prematurely, but so far so good. Will definitely make the trip back to Elite Nails again. read more

I've been going to this this nail salon a couple of times a month for almost a year, and I'll never go anywhere else! Elite has the absolute best service, and the friendliest staff. If you get a chance to meet Kevin, he will have you laughing your entire visit! The staff is very attentive, very detailed with their work, and extremely efficient if customers are waiting. I don't think I've ever had to wait longer than five minutes if I've arrived during a high traffic time. I cannot recommend this place enough! read more

I've been coming here for almost 2 years. I usually have a good experience, but today, my manicure is already ruined. My fingers felt dry, but they smudged very quickly. I think this was because the lady kept diluting the polish. Apparently there wasn't much left in the bottle and had I known I would have picked a different color. I wish I was told this, instead she added thinner to the polish 4 times while doing my nails. Again, I usually have a good experience, and I will go back, but I hope they discontinue this practice in the future. Also, I'll never understand why the manicure is done last. In the future I'll make sure they do my manicure before the pedicure. read more

It is really hard to find a GOOD nail salon. When I first came here Kevin did my nails. He did a fantastic job and was so detail oriented. A year later and he is still doing my nails. I am always very happy with how they look and how much he cares about me loving them! Definitely come here and get your full set from Kevin! He is the best! read more

WASTE OF MONEY First, let me say this is my first time writing a negative review but I am that dissatisfied with the lack of service I received. I don't think I have ever had worse service anywhere. If I am paying money for a service to be provided, I expect it to be how I request it be done. I believe Kevin did my nails... He is EXTREMELY cocky (the slide show of basically him alone and customers is a bit creepy) and rude. I asked for the powder tips and wanted them wide set and to have the powder a little further back. He refused to do my nails the way I wanted. He thinks he knows what all women want? It's really not that hard if you LISTEN. My nails looked HORRIBLE. They were way to thin and already looked like they needed a refill! I told him there is not enough powder on the tip and I can see my real nail tips still... which is UNACCEPTABLE. He said It's only the way I was looking at my nails? LOL What a joke! Very unprofessional and needs some lessons on customer service for sure!! I immediately went to another salon to have them fix the disaster he made!!! read more

Rude!! Messed up my nails and had the guts to called me stupid for not knowing anything.

I've never given a bad review before, but I suppose that's because I've never been as disappointed as I am with this place. I went in for my first visit on Sunday for a Solar pink fill and there were several patrons there, so looking back, I realize now that the woman that did my nails was the only tech available and not actually trained in doing pink/white nails - they were awful. On Monday, two had broken completely off down where the fill line was and the gel she used at the end was all over my cuticles and chipping which caused the base of my nails to chip. I went back on Wed and asked to have them fixed and Kevin insisted on taking my nails off and "giving" me a full set that I would "LOVE - I was going to fall in love with him". I did not have time that evening to do all of that so I made an appointment to come back today to get the full set. Within the 24 hours, I had picked most of them off - once one breaks I can't NOT pick them off! My new set is worse than the fill! He asked if I wanted them "real short" to which I replied, "no, I like them really long". Just like the ones I HAD. They are so incredibly short, I cannot even turn my hand over and see them past my fingertips. I wasn't even aware fake nails could be this short. Without asking, he used a new powder and after the first nail he asked me if I liked the color and I told him, "no - it was a nude color and looked like an American Manicure instead of pink like the French Manicure used for a PINK and WHITE SOLAR full set". He said I would love it because I wouldn't be able to see any lifts. He then finished with the whites and asked me what I thought so far and I was honest, I said they were way too short and the whites had absolutely NO ARC. They are literally flat across. He replied that in two weeks, I would love them. I allowed him to continue to shape them and clean them up, even though I wanted to cry. I hate them and just wanted to leave. When he buffed them and I knew that was as good as it was going to get, he started to apply the gel, so I stopped him and told him there would be no need to do that - I really did not like them at all and was just going to soak them off anyway. His response, "OK. that will be $$". I was absolutely blown away. I already paid for the crappiest fill I've ever had and now I am paying for a full set THAT FROM THE VERY BEGINNING I TOLD HIM I DID NOT LIKE AND TOLD HIM I WAS GOING HOME TO SOAK THEM OFF. Everyone there was nice, but typically when I am paying for services, they are. Understanding, compassion and customer service are different to me and in this area, BIG FAIL, much like the skill level of the nail techs. I will NEVER return to this nail salon. read more

I can't see myself returning to Elite Nails & Spa in Grapevine. The nails techs here can hardly ever imitate the look that I'm going for. It's always something as to why my nails look different from the picture I'd show them. I'm a chrome, ombré, marble, Swarovski crystals type of girl. Elite Nails & Spa never seems to deliver anything other than mediocracy. No point in booking an appointment in advance so just plan to wait a half hour before you're seen. Oh, and don't be surprised if you find yourself back at the nail salon within a forty eight hour time period due to weak acrylic even after doing your nails at a snail's pace. My mom would love this nail shop, not me! The younger customers know what I mean. I suggest taking your money to Dallas, ladies, if you want fun trendy nails. And it always seems to be bring-your-kid-to-work day there so hide your keys, phones, and sandals because baby Xu Li always makes rounds to toy with those items.
