I went in at about 2.30pm and was asked to come back in about 35 minutes as they had just started a few pedicures. $32 for a basic mani pedi combo. Everyone was very friendly and they lady doing my nails was very thorough with the cutting and shaping of my toenails. Bit so so with the callous removal. Only slight chipping on one nail that I can see right now. Overall hygiene seemed ok. No liners in the foot soaking tub but the nail clippers etc came out of a sealed bag. As per usual, you pay before you get the nail polish on your fingers, I tipped more than 20% and she gave me a $10 off 10 visit punch card. The thing that got me was that the service stopped as soon as you were under the dryer - and i had already tipped. I don't know how long I sat there for, it was a while, but I was ignored till I asked if my nails would be dry yet and the response was "maybe". I think I could have sat there till closing time and they wouldn't have said anything. They had everything they wanted from me. I Still had the foam wedged between my toes and everything.

I was given opportunity to choose from their selection of pedicures. I decided on the spa pedicure since I'm not a fan of clay. Pedicure was nice and do was the massage I received. However, the color application was not! I'll go home and take it off. Color is/was applied over cuticle bed and just looks sloppy. Not what I was looking for since it's still flip flop and sandal weather. Unfortunately, I probably won't go back! Sad to say because the gentleman was so nice.

I stopped coming here about three years ago because of inconsistent quality, but since it's…read moredirectly across the street from my house, I decided to give them another chance. I really wanted this place to be good. A month ago, my daughter and I came in for pedicures. Mine was below average, while hers turned out okay, so I thought maybe I'd just had bad luck. We went back today, and unfortunately, that was my last visit. The technician was using nail polish that had clearly dried out. Instead of opening a fresh bottle, she repeatedly tried thinning it with acetone while applying it to my nails. The polish went on streaky and uneven, and it was obvious it wasn't working. When I pointed it out, she became irritated and insisted a clear top coat would fix it. It didn't. What bothered me most wasn't that this an honest mistake. It was that they knew the polish was bad. They kept discussing it and continued trying to make an unusable bottle work rather than simply replacing it. That felt like cutting corners at the customer's expense. I gave this salon a second chance because I wanted it to succeed, but after two disappointing visits, I won't be back.

The manicure did not take care of my dry cuticles as much as I expected and it was more rounded then I had asked for, but the end result was ok. Overall, it was relaxing and a good experience.

So, I hate leaving bad reviews, but unfortunately that is what this one is. My friend and I go to…read moreFancy Nails because it is only a couple blocks from our houses, which is very convenient. The technicians are a husband and wife. The husband is very nice and cheerful and does a decent job. He actually does a great job with drawing fun designs on my toes in the summer time. But, I must say; his wife is very rude and unpleasant. She is always putting other nail technicians down when she notices that we went elsewhere for any work we've have had done at other salons. We went in last weekend for manicures, and my cuticle got nipped a little too deep and bled. It took over 15 minutes to finally get it to stop bleeding where he could finally continue to work on my nails. When it came to fingernail polish, it was hard for me to find a polish that wasn't dried out and sticky. This was taking more time than usual (due to him nipping my cuticle and trying to find decent polish). His wife actually angrily yelled at me to hurry up because he had another client waiting. Just know, she had already finished with my friend and was doing nothing as she was yelling at me. I let her know that I was trying to hurry, but was having a hard time finding polish that wasn't dried out. I found it to be very unprofessional and extremely rude for her to have yelled at me from across the room in front of other people. A friendly professional person would have either helped me find a polish that was fresh, or at least helped her husband get his client started until he could finish with me. She was too busy yelling at me and huffing and puffing while angrily babbling in a language unknown to me. Her husband was not responding to her and I could tell he was embarrassed. Because of her horrible behavior and uncontrollable outbursts, I do not give this salon business unless it's an emergency, and I always regret when I do finally return.. for more abuse. Anyways, I do not recommend this business for all the above reasons.

This was my second time at this salon, and it will absolutely be my last. The first time I came in,…read moreI was treated with respect. I have a prosthetic arm on my left side, and the tech who helped me then was professional, didn't make comments, and didn't talk about me to her coworkers. I appreciated that. Today was the complete opposite. The staff openly talked about my hand to each other in their language, fully aware that my hand is prosthetic. If you can't or don't want to work on it, just say so. I've lived with this my whole life -- honesty doesn't hurt me. What does hurt is being talked about like I'm not standing right there. They made me feel small and embarrassed. They clearly didn't think I understood them, but I understood every word, and none of it was appropriate or kind. I left the salon in tears. On top of the disrespect, they also overcharged me. Both visits were the same service -- a rebase on one hand, because the other doesn't need it. The first time, it was $45. Today, suddenly it was $65. So not only was I disrespected and stared at like I was some kind of spectacle, I was also charged a completely different price for the exact same service. If you have any kind of disability, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This salon clearly doesn't know how to treat people with dignity. If you can't work on someone's hand, say it directly -- don't whisper about them to your coworkers and make them feel less than human. I should've walked out the moment I heard the comments, and I regret not doing so. I did not ask to be born like this, and no one deserves to be treated the way I was treated today. Price $100-120
