While JJ wasn't the lowest, they were the most comprehensive. For example, all of the other quotes quoted the shingles and work, but JJ Construction quoted shingles, tiles, gutters, and all hardware (new fans/vents/gutters). They are highly skilled. They did not rush the project (who wants a roofer who rushes?) and cleaned up every day. Communication was excellent. They installed Class 4 shingles, which lowered my home owners insurance by 20%. I had one other company back in 1977 not meet with me unless my husband was home - I totally thought things had changed by now, but guess not for everyone UPDATED: Yes, I received more than one phone call letting me know that an exception would be made to meet with me without my husband. I informed each caller that I had other options and that I did not want further calls. Hopefully no more calls from this company. I sent the Director a text indicating he wasted three-weeks of our time, pushing the work into November and possibly into Winter based on the current schedule of the other bidding Contractors. He did not even bother to apologize nor respond. What garbage! The Director knew we were selling our home and he cost us a financial loss with his delays and habitual lies. We now may need to wait until Spring to renovate the exterior of our house even though we live in a different home purchased earlier this Summer.
