Chicken Shawarma
Martin T.

We ate at a lot of places our first time visiting Michigan. This was our favorite meal - it was delicious and felt healthier than most things we had. The staff were super friendly and cracking jokes, accommodated our big group's seating, and most importantly... the food was phenomenal. Highly recommend the chicken shawarma. And the bread basket they bring is fantastic. Dip it in olive oil and eat it while it's hot. This isn't the place to skip the bread.

Expensive but decent. Seating is very crowded but service was fast and friendly. We ate outside, so there was a lot of traffic and hustle and bustle. We ordered appetizers - labneh dip, lentil soup, and falafels. It was pretty good but nothing remarkable. Probably would try something else next time.

Hummus
Shelley B.

Outstanding and very attentive service, delicious food, relaxing, cozy vibe. Best hummus and freshly baked, (served warm!) pita bread ever! Generous servings.

Lamb Shish Kafta

A very classy and relaxing place to dine. Best of all the food is excellent. Compare this to other restaurants nearby which can't decide if they're a dance hall or a dining establishment. The food is amongst the best Mediterranean I've had. The hummus in particular is great. A little pricey but it's Birmingham. Lamb or chicken it's cooked perfectly and just really well-executed dishes. The service is so courteous, friendly and accommodating and it's especially appreciated with our baby. One of our new favorites and definitely the best Mediterranean in the area!

Calamari
Samantha M.

You have to start with the wonderful calamari appetizer. This dish has so much flavor! Flash fried calamari is coupled with tomatoes, banana peppers, green onions, capers with a lemon beurre blanc. Not only delicious, but also a large portion. Also highly recommend the pistachio encrusted whitefish with a barley risotto. This dish is light but packed with flavor! The baked salmon was also good. Served with a mushroom & asparagus quinoa (yum!) & grilled onions with capers & olives. Love their patio in the summer!

Spicy margarita
Georgia M.

Ok might be controversial but I'm willing to say best spicy marg in metro Detroit....... Not what anyone would expect I'm sure. Top notch jalapeño ratio and very fresh, so good with the hummus and fresh bread. Add garlic sauce of course

Lava cake
Katerina L.

Stop in for a quick dessert and a cup of coffee (if you don't feel like a full blown dinner). Lava cake is the bomb and so is baklava. Electronic menu let's you see a picture of every dessert. Wait staff is friendly as well.

This is a very popular and unfortunately a noisy Birmingham destination. Food is good overall, lamb chops are excellent.

Nice outdoor seating and a great bar. Pita cafe is better for a chicken schwarma sandwich but here you get a great vibe.

Hostess and servers were very rude and had bad attitudes. Could not enjoy my drink because of the negative vibe, don't want to go back.

Lunch after a business meeting can go one of two ways -- rushed and random, or intentional and…read moresatisfying. This time? Definitely satisfying. We stopped by 2941 Street Food in Royal Oak and ordered a mini Honest Bowl since we were short on time. I went with basmati rice, zaatar steak, fresh cucumber, signature hummus, lemon vinaigrette, and sunflower seeds -- and it all came together beautifully. The steak was seasoned well, the hummus added creaminess, and the lemon vinaigrette brought a fresh brightness that tied everything together. Even as a mini bowl, it was filling. They also have their ingredients and allergy information posted in-store, which I really appreciate. It makes navigating gluten-free options easier. My bowl ingredients are generally gluten-free, but if you're highly sensitive or have celiac, it's always smart to double-check with staff about marinades or dressings. The space isn't dedicated gluten-free, but having the information visible is a big plus. The restaurant was clean, calm, and welcoming. Staff was polite, friendly, and professional -- which made the whole experience feel smooth and easy. I'd absolutely recommend it for a fresh, balanced, customizable lunch in Royal Oak.

Your choices will include Mediterranean and Middle Eastern street food that is served in bowls, wraps, salads also comes with your choice of grilled meats. Hummus, fresh hot bread and falafel's are also served with your meal. The fresh hot bread was amazing. I will stop here every time I'm in the area visiting a Tigers game. Service was out of the park for us it was quick and efficient. You walk and order they will pass down the line until you're finished picking items through the clear glass. . First experience for me really impressed with the mixed variety of different tasting food something a small town guy with only a few mom and pop restaurants isn't use to, my taste buds thanked me. Parking was plentiful and there is not a problem finding seating. Establishment well kept, clean dining area nice clean bathrooms. Four full plates of food just under $80.00 darn right you're going to put a tip in the bucket.
