The food was great.. Worth the wait for take out, but definitely order early as they get busy. Additionally, ask for extra spicy sauce. I'm not sure what it is called but it is addicting. Small place inside. The outside isn't much to look at either. Two doors to enter. Set up to take orders by the north doors. Spicy gallaba with hummus, house salad with chicken shawarma meat and anti-cholesterol raw juice. The total was $32.30. The mat inside this place was super sticky for both of us. Even the patio table is sticky. What's up with all of this stickiness. There is no eating inside, there's only a counter inside anyways. The patio is available to eat, but it rained and is wet still. Luckily we have a golf bag towel. We were told to wait outside and they would bring our food out to us. They are busy with orders. It took our food about 25 minutes to come out to us. So much for the express part of their name. The woman there is super friendly, she even asked how our food was as we wrapped up our meal. The house salad was jam packed with chicken. The chicken was nicely seasoned and so much of it too. The spicy chicken gallaba was also a nice portion for my hubby. There was a lot of hummus as well. I used to frequent this establishment often when my office was nearby. Definitely one of the better Middle Eastern places for takeout you'll find in Oakland County. I recently returned when I was nearby and I'm happy to report that their food is just as good as it was a few years ago. My favorite is their lamb combo ( kofta, kibbee and grape leaves) I also really like their starter combo ( hommous,Baba Ghannouj & tabbouli). If your in the area, pick up something. Went back inside to add a soup to go and saw the cook sneeze in his hand with no gloves and kept flipping food, yak! I turned around and didn't add anything. I've passed by this place hundreds of times, it never really appealed to me until a recent stop to the medical place in the same plaza. I read the reviews and was very curious...seeing many reviews state they are Lebanese, I was ready to give it a try! I order the chicken shawarma sandwich and fries...I don't add or remove anything, I'm just ready to try it as is ....it's about $15 for both...and it took about 5-7 minutes to get my food. I take the first bite and WOW! This really does taste better than many Dearborn places! Wow...they legit do it the right way with garlic and pickles only! The bread is pressed and a bit crunchy, the chicken is moist and tasty-the garlic is perfect and the pickles are crunchy and not overpowering. The fries are crunchy and perfectly fried...heart emoji! I am a fan of this place, and a frequent diner here. I find their version of chicken shawarma to be very good, but I usually order their chicken shawarma salad sandwich, which is basically your standard chicken shawarma sandwich (chicken, garlic, pickles) with the addition of lettuce, onion, and tomatoes. The lettuce I can take or leave, but I *always* want onion and tomato added to my chicken shawarma sandwich...plus, I ask for extra garlic, and usually get it. It's lovely. Aesthetically, this place will not make anybody happy. It's kind of shabby, but the food they're producing on a regular basis is, in fact, quite high in quality and it honestly is well made and tastes great. It's very fair to say that this place is geared mostly toward takeout, and you had better *believe* that they have a blistering takeout business!!! It can sometimes lead to some rather longish wait times for your food. The inside ain't much to look at, and quite frankly, the outside ain't either. However, that being said, they do have some outdoor patio furniture to sit on and dine at facing Woodward Avenue, and believe it or not: the calming effect of eating your meal al fresco while watching the world whiz on by is quite palpable. I really enjoy eating here on a nice day, especially when it's sunny. Employees are friendly, and I know at least one or two by name, and several more by recognition. They know me. They know my order. They know what I want. It works well, and I should also add that it's pretty affordable. My go-to sandwich order is still around $7, and it's a filling lunch, because they do *not* skimp on the ingredients, especially the chicken, which is very nicely cooked, and I cannot recall it ever being dry on me. This is a proper example of a hole-in-the-wall joint whose food transcends its facade. Nothing fancy, here, except really good Middle Eastern food, served by nice folks. Not a Date Night destination by any means, but an "I'm hungry for very good, not-too-expensive Middle Eastern food." destination for certain. I've probably driven by this little place a thousand times and somehow never noticed it, but definitely won't forget it now. As the most recent stop on my Grand Tour of Falafel, Shish Kabob did not disappoint! Was on the move so just grabbed a falafel sandwich to go, but it made me want to come back and try everything. Falafel was packed with flavor and not dry. The tahini was excellent. I always add garlic sauce, and theirs is plenty strong with a great consistency. All ingredients tasted fresh, right down to the pita. Looking forward to coming back to try more! On the logistic side, the place is small, but there are a few indoor seats if you wanted to eat in. I had no trouble parking, but I could see how the spaces could fill up if Shish Kabob or the neighboring stores were particularly busy. read more

I've always ordered ahead, food is ready when I get there. Any of the wraps with the fries in them top the list of my my favorite eats ANYWHERE. Great when hot, great cold later when you eventually come back to the 2nd wrap you couldn't finish earlier. read more

My first time trying their food and it will not be my last!! Ordered right from this app and it was easy. Location is easy to get to find parking. I ordered the cilantro chicken and it was delicious. Well seasoned, flavorful and great portions. I had the salad with it and all veggies were fresh and the dressing is delicious. I would not change anything about my meal. The service was great.
