I decided to give this place a try. I've been avoiding this place for a little while, since my husband was not keen on trying it. It looked too small and non-descriptive for him to have an interest in. I want to see if it was all that it's been hyped up to be or not. I ordered the chicken Tawook dinner as well as the chicken Shawarma dinner. It comes with hummus, salad, along with the meat. It's a small spot, narrow, lots of different would accents on the walls, maybe reclaimed cabinets and furniture pieces? They accept master card or visa here only. It looked like a one man band today. The man that took my call, put together my order and cashed me out. The entree containers looked so full, one for the meat, rice and veggies and one smaller container for the salad and the hummus. It's filled mostly with rice, as I noticed once I ate a few pieces of meat. I tried a few pieces of the shawarma meat, seemed decently flavored. The chicken Tawook meat were big chunks of meat, rather dry and didn't have much flavor to it, hummus and the garlic butter helps to get it down. My husband said his shawarma meat wasn't bad, had some flavor to it, a little dry. What he really liked was the garlic butter, it was super creamy and not as pungent as normal.

Ordered delivery via GrubHub. Quite disappointed because they deliver it to my neighbor who thankfully was very nice to notice and delivered it to my door. However I guess it's not the restaurant's fault so I don't blame it on them. I ordered a Trio Combo that consists of yoghurt salad, lamb kibbee, and meat grape leaves. The portion is decent for the size. The yoghurt salad was fresh but the pita was too flat and dry. The lamb kibbee seems small and is kind of greasy but the tastebis pretty good. The grape leaves taste as expected--good, although not blowing. Overall, I think it's not bad at all. Perhaps if I get a late night middle eastern food craving, this would be a consideration

    So much food.

Falafel King has gained much respect from me, so I must update my review. The last stops were all very good and I must say my shawarma on the last visit got me jonesing to go back. I'm going to say I enjoyed it more than bucharest. So I see more trips to the King and I'm looking to try more of the menu and I love that shawarma.

SUPER friendly service. Great falafel sandwich. Also, if you buy 3 pieces of baklava, you get a 4th for free ;)

Placed an order and they were finishing up the falafels as I walked in. So crispy and fresh. The team working were polite and efficient.

Love falafel king's delicious food and the people. Our favorite is the combo tray with rice. Babaganosh rocks it.

We usually cater from La Saj, but I loved Mr. Kabob's chicken shawarma wraps so much that I decided to try the catering menu--and wow. Absolutely fantastic. The chicken shawarma, kafta, tabouli, hummus... and even the rice was excellent (not the sad filler rice you politely ignore and then quietly abandon). Do not let the gas-station address fool you. The moment you walk in, you realize this is the nicest gas station you've ever seen: clean, bright, and stocked with an impressive selection of spirits, beer, and wine. Honestly, the food is that good, and the service is great, too. When I came to pick up my order, they even gave me some baklava on the house. When the apocalypse hits, this is where I'm hiding.

It's in his own shopping area so there's free parking. The service was pretty good. It was a little bit of a wait but it happens. The food was great. They don't miss on that! Chicken shawarma salad - The salad is excellent. The marinated chicken that they use for the wraps goes on a salad, and they're still marinated and so good that you won't even really need the dressing. I'm not really fond of the dressing, they does do anything for me but I could eat it alone without dressing or just use the garlic sauce as well. Either way, the salad is awesome. You also get a hell of a lot of it as well. The The regular and the large are like a couple of dollars different. So if you take the large for a couple of dollars more, you will definitely have food for later that day LOL! Ruben slider - The slider here was really really good. Everything was perfectly melted and the meat had premium taste to it. I should have ordered them more LOL. Chicken slider - This slider was really good. Of course it was overshadowed by the Reuben slider so that's kind of not fair, but this was still really good in tender. Curly fries - curly fries are really good and you got a lot of them. It was sitting in a box when I served it but they still were very crunchy and crispy. I love Bucharest just in general but this location was actually really good. There are a number of them but they all seem to be consistent so you know what you're getting every time you go!
