The interior is fresh, meticulously clean, and welcoming. Nice decor too! Armenian pastries are in a glass case for take out. I ordered Manti with a small, but fresh and delicious House Salad. Manti is a broth based soup with loaded with tiny spiced, ground meat dumplings. The Chef makes hers here by hand! The broth was good. Very filling too. My companion's meat omelet was fresh and tasty, but he found the flat meat pieces salty to his palate. He liked the Lemonade. Plymouth just got lucky! What a great place. Owner is amazing and friendly. In fact , everyone there was.friendly. The place was new 10 days old, warm and clean. The menu is extensive. I did carry out and everything was packaged so that nothing would get soggy. Now the food.... amazing! I only did fattoush with chicken and hummus but very yummy and much better than other local places. The chicken seasoning was so good. My husband loved it too. It's an unassuming, narrow place. It's lot is a separate driveway from the rest of the shopping center lot. Entrance is closer to the entrance of the mall from Southfield road. The staff and chef are all wearing masks. Our waitress is attentive and bi We started off with a medium 16 ounce orange and carrot juice to share. Ordered a chicken Shish kafta, hummus (upgrade of $1.99) and a side of salad and a hummus with gallaba, that comes with lentil soup and a salad too. You definitely get more with the entree. They have pita pockets but not oven here. The house salad looks so fresh and I can smell the vinaigrette, it tastes good. The lemon crushed lentil is so smooth looking and it tastes perfectly lemony too. It's so good. I ate half of my husband's soup. I love the lemon. Their hummus is super smooth, rarely see and taste it this smooth, it's pretty good, not a lot of flavor. It's unbelievably smooth. The garlic spread is made with olive oil here too. Yeah! A light hint of a garlic, more would make or better. It should have a bit of bite from the garlic, it doesn't. The chicken gallaba is a small plate, but tastes good. The chicken kafta isn't bad, not a ton of flavor, some green coloring and hue from the parsley. It could use some chili, garlic seasoning or something with it. A hint of garlic or more spices would really make this chicken kafta even better. The best part of the chicken kafta is it's so moist and perfectly cooked. They don't have any of the chili or zest sauce here to amp up any of the hummus or meats here. Some sambal sauce would go well with this meat. The food and service here were all good. The hummus, gallaba and chicken kafta would all be better with them amped up with some more flavors, garlic and a bit of chili options would be sufficient even. The meat and entrees are made to order and the salad and lentils were all good. read more

Great hidden gem for Middle Eastern/Mediterranean - and especially Armenian - food! It's hidden in both name and location. Nestled in an unassuming suburban strip mall location, Farm Grill is a great haven for Armenian food. We only heard about it through the Armenian church grapevine. While there are many Armenians in Metro Detroit, there unfortunately are not many Armenian restaurants. The owner, Hasmik, is from Armenia and has a (not so) "secret menu" of Armenian staples like lahmajun, manti (Armenian dumpling) soup, and souboreg. The manti is absolutely a must have, they are filled with an amazing blend of meat and spices in a mouth watering rich broth. The "secret" Armenian menu is not actually all that secret - it's advertised in the front window. The Armenian menu is of course in addition to the expansive "standard" menu of pan-mediterranean delights like dolma, lamb, falafel, and more. The food is great and service is quick. Very flavorful cooked the way I ordered them and reasonably priced...also had their beef Kabob, which is grilled beef tenderloin melted in my mouth family owned and operated. This is a cute little spot in a strip mall. Initially i was going to order a carry out, but decided to dine in. The food came fast, hot and delicious. The restuarant appeared to be pretty clean. I ordered the lentil soup, chicken ghallaba and i chose the salad. The lettuce was fresh and so were the other veggies. Dressing was on point not too vinegary. Went to southfeild to volunteer at my org and found that in was very hungry. I wanted to treat myself to something authentic. So I opted for Armenian. I went into this diner that was nestled in a plaza, kind of hard to get to was at the end of the road. Going in it's a middle eastern diner that also serves Armenian specialties which was the selling point to go. Coming in it was really nice and well kept, clean and pretty new seating. It was kind of like a Coney style with an open kitchen which is a unconventional choice for something that says fine dining. The waitresses were very nice and prompt with service. I called in a meal beforehand so I looked at the previous yelpers recommending the Armenian fare. I ordered the Manti, which is a tradional dumpling soup with sour creme and spice. It was very good hearty small bowl. The dumplings were fresh and the broth was flavorful. The spiced creme was a refreshing addition. Totally reccomend. They served bread and a salad beforehand. Which were both great Next came the soureg. A lasagna as advertised. It wasnt lasagna. It was more like phyllo with layers of cheese. Kind of like a saganaki. It was really just that a small plate of phyllo and mozzarella like cheese. I mean it could be ok as an plate to share I cant say anything to great about this one. It was very heavy. Should be an appetizer. Also the presentation wasnt great. Could of added some parsley or a round plate to compliment the dish or a mere sprinkling of spice to contrast the homogeneous sea of cheese. I definitely reccomend the walnut cake! It was not to sweet and prepared by them. Just the right amount of sweetness and it looks phenomenal. Its layers of walnut like cake. One thing that is concerning is the price however. Through me off guard ordering the non menu items. The Manti, soup is $15.99. I thought they made a mistake and added a 1 before the 5.99 but apparently it's an entree with a small salad and bread basket it comes with, which I would of guessed was the appetizer. For a small soup like dish they should advertise the price or atleast give the option to have it as an entree before giving an order. The other soups were like 3.99. It was my lack of due diligence to ask the price before so lesson leanred. Also next time would like to order the middle eastern dishes they look like their fresh. I've been going to this place alot after school just to get their tasty chicken shawarmas! Its a nice little family business.. the owner (which I think is the mom) is SUPER friendly and nice, she always makes my chicken shwarmas to perfection!! I Stumbled upon this place after leaving work and just strolling for some dinner. Friday at about 6pm It was pretty empty. I remember this location used to be a soul food place that also struggled with customers. It's really in an odd location, hard to see from the street. Without actually driving into the parking lot ( right by planet fitness, big lots, Forman mills, big boys etc) you wouldn't even know it's there. But the food was pretty good and the staff was very friendly. I had the shish Kafka and fries, with soup and a slice home made cake nicely priced for 20 bucks. The cake was awesome and very fresh. The lamb was moist. I'll try this place again if I'm in the area. read more

As someone who is of middle eastern descent I can vouch for what is authentic and what isn't. The food here is not made with enough attention to detail. A watery, and very bland chicken lemon rice soup. Chicken slightly over cooked, and chicken cream chop with virtually no seasoning incorporated in the breading. The food here isn't horrible and does taste fresh. The methodology in the kitchen and cooking techniques need to be improved. Great service overall. read more

I took my dad here for his birthday yesterday. It's the first time I've eaten here. I picked it because of the great reviews. Wow, were the reviews right. This little place is unassuming based on the decor but the food is top notch. Every single thing tasted so good but, more importantly, it sat well in the body after, the mark of healthy food. I have had probably 50 different falafel sandwiches in my life and this may have been the best of them all. I mentioned this to the woman who had made it and she laughed and said that she actually hears that often. She described all of the extra vegetables that she puts into the patty that make it unique.
