The customer service was good and we got our food quickly. I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich and it was a nice size. The garlic sauce, pickles and other vegetables made the sandwich taste really fresh. We also ordered the salad with chicken and almond rice. The rice didn't taste that fresh too me (maybe it was the type they used) and the chicken was a bit dry and had that burnt grill flavor to it. The dressing and portion size was good.

I ordered the chicken shawarma , nice size, nice flavor competitive pricing. I ordered carry out, was ready less than 10 mins. Very clean and welcoming establishment with seating inside if you prefer. Owner very nice, I will return in future for different offerings.

I have been here a few times, and the food is always great. And the service is excellent as well. It is not very big inside, and tables are limited, so depending on when you go, there may not be tables available a couple of times. I had to take it back to work this place is right down the street from where I work. My only gripe is that the restaurant is full, with no place to sit and eat. When you serve good food, of course, it will be busy.

Ordered a hummus and shawarma plate, Greek with grilled chicken, 2 crushed lentil soups, cobra juice as well. Whoever took our order had some difficulty understanding my order, speak slowly and enunciate. Ended up having to correct my order a few times to make sure I got a juice and not something else. Called in the order, it would take about 15 minutes to get our order ready. This is right next to the shoe store I have been going to for a decade or longer to replace heels on my shoes. Food was done after 15 or so. Had to wait a few minutes longer for the cobra. It's hard to socially distance while we waited for our order inside. There were 3 other people waiting for their food order too. The cobra juice is decent. Not sure why it's called the cobra, feels like it should have some bite to it to something. Most prominent is the beet and carrot juice. The crushed lentil cooled on the 15 minute drive home, reheated it a bit and added 1.5 TBS of lemon juice to make the bowl a bit more style. It's nice to find their crushed lentil doesn't have rice as filler in it, it's pretty good. The soup was in a bowl container. I would have ordered only one if I had known an order would be defaulted to a bowl size for each order. The Greek salad is decent. Odd with the pickle slices and pickled turnips in it. The dressing is nice. The tomatoes are not ripe at all. The hummus is silky smooth and tastes good. The shawarma meat is grilled chicken, a bit sparse for this plate portion, if you ask me. I had more grilled chicken on my Greek salad than there was on the hummus and chicken plate dish. The Greek was $1 less than the chicken and hummus plate too. Food overall was average, as was the service. I don't think it was $42 worth of food.

I really wanted to love this spot because it's so close to me, but alas...back to Pita Cafe I go. It wasn't terrible, but with so many good Mediterranean options in this area, it just doesn't stack up. The falafel was good, and the hummus was ok, but you can't really mess that up. Overall, everything was a bit...watery, and the rice was super over-cooked. The veggie grape leaves were so mushy and salty, and the tabbouleh didn't seem as fresh as it is other places. Their prices aren't cheap, so we won't be returning, unfortunately.

I was passing through and was looking for a bite to eat. It was a great pick I ordered the chicken kebab over rice very delicious and also the lentil soup lots of flavor Perfect for a cold day. Next time I'm in town I'll definitely be back.

I loved this place! They have gyros / Shawarmas with chicken, beef or lamb. I ordered a shawarma that was a huge pita that I broke into four pieces. Lamb over rice with onions, pickle and vegetables plus a tasty sweet sauce. Carrots, tomatoes, both picked and fresh onions. Meat was tender and lightly seasoned and a good sized portion. The rice was perfect and tasted like it had been cooked in broth. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend.

This place has fallen off, the falafel dressing was too tart and the chicken was very dry.

They are located inside of a plaza and there is a lot of parking. The restaurant seems small, but the other side has seating I believe. I ordered their chicken shawarma bowl and it was 16$ which I felt was super expensive. But I wanted a bowl so I ordered it. None of my food was hot. My rice was lukewarm, the chicken was cold and the cauliflower was not good and cold. I wanted the veggies (zucchini, onion, carrot mix), but the guy who made my food said there was no more, but it looked like they were cooking it. He didn't ask if I wanted to wait so I felt rushed. The only thing I liked about all this was the potatoes. They were so good. I asked for beets and I got pickled turnips. They did put 2 beets but they were super hard. The chicken did not have much seasoning to it. And I didn't get a lot of it. It was so finely chopped that I didn't notice it. I did not finish my meal at all. I want to give them another try because the guy (maybe owner) was so nice. Like so pleasant and sincere. But the worker who made my food was kind of standoffish. The girl at the counter was nice also. Maybe I will come before 8pm and try their food.

Where I ended up at was one of the best Middle Eastern fast casual places ever. You can order from the entree menu or build a custom bowl to your liking. I ended up getting the mixed grill because I couldn't choose just one thing and washed it down with beet juice. For almost $40 I go hummus, pita bread, fattoush salad, and a ton of rice, meat and chicken. The salad dressing was the best I ever had for fattoush, the chicken/meat items were all perfectly tender and well seasoned. This was enough to feed 2-3 people easily, and there was not one thing from here I did not absolutely love. This will not be the last time I come here. Make sure to understand that the food is made to order, so if you're coming for a quick lunch be a little patient.

I usually get the chicken shawarma, but my co-worker (who's Arabic) loved the shish tawook. It's set up like a Subway sandwich kind of place. I came here for lunch and left disappointed. I ordered their bowl with chicken shawarma. Online it says you can choose other beats but the lady only gave me beef or chicken shawarma. They also said they have two rices, it was only yellow rice. The yellow rice texture was way off. It was hard like they didn't add enough water for it to cook. It was also old and cold. The vegetables were not many to choose from as I liked. The chicken shawarma was old, very dry and burnt like it's been there for a days and not getting used often. Their garlic sauce was very chunky too like it was almost spoiled. I did try my food. The sad thing is the flavor was all there. It was just not fresh. But the meat was seasoned well. Pricing was 13.99$ for the bowl. There was one person working that I seen. They were not mean, but wasn't friendly either if you know what I mean. Maybe they were tired.

I always appreciate a good fast-casual style restaurant that offers an easy menu with good and healthy options, so I was looking forward to trying out The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill in West Bloomfield! Upon first glance, the restaurant looks very chill, well kept up, and has tons of seating options. The staff was also very kind and continually offered to help with anything during our visit. However... I have two main qualms. One is that the price per item adds up very quickly here. You essentially have to factor in that you can probably get 1.5 meals out of a portion, because otherwise, you're paying close to $20 for a single meal of fast-casual food. Keep in mind that most other locations of this caliber in this area would easily have 2 meals worth of food in one entree at a lower price. The food itself was pretty ok - I'd say it met our expectations of what a standard mediterranean restaurant should be. That said... they definitely disappointed us with the wait time. We went in on a slow Sunday afternoon, and though there was only 1 other family in the restaurant, we ended up waiting nearly 30 minutes for our food. Ultimately... I'd probably recommend you try somewhere else -- The Great Greek Mediterranean is definitely casual, but nowhere near fast.
