Crispy Chicken Shnitzel Salad, Side of Cauliflower, fresh pita and cool take out bag.
    Dave M.

Great take-out place on 14 Mile and Delemere (just east of Coolidge). It's a pretty nondescript location but the food isn't nondescript at all! You order online or at the electronic kiosk when you walk in. The staff is really friendly and the food reflects the kind of care and attention that I really appreciate. Everything was fresh tasting and well made. Even the take-out bag is thought out - it is a small disposable, insulated bag that helps to keep your food warm until you get home. Very cool! The pitas are really good too. Highly recommend!

Got the falafel boy with salad bowl $9 with extra falafel combo for $3 extra. Made the meal $13 with tax. The taste of the falafel balls are great! I think they bake the balls - no oil. That was excellent! Although, I was expecting a spring mix in the salad, not lettuce. I wish that was better explained. But the tahini sauce & hummus was great! One star off bc of the generic lettuce & the high cost for the portion size.

Great middle eastern food truck. I love that their pitas have no oil or sugar added and you have the option to turn the menu item into a pita or salad bowl. The staff is very friendly and quick to make your entree. I always opt for the falafel boy - salad bowl style. It is filling but not over the top I stuffed myself. The veggies taste fresh and are all natural and the best part there isn't too much garlic where you can't go back into work, but still enough to have amazing flavor. They aren't chinsy when it comes to the falafels either, you get 6-8 of them in your salad bowl. You can check out their website and they will let you know where they will be for that week! Love Pita Post Food Truck for lunch!

The falafel boy, the chicken shawarma (not your mama), sh-ni-tzel and cornbeef pitas. SOO good!! The fries were on point, too!

Really Good Food and Friendly Service. 14 mile between Coolidge and Crooks, a little hidden around the Corner on Delmer

Both the falafel and the chicken schnitzel pitas were awesome. Easy to pick up. Put in my order when I got there and it was ready in 5 mins.

I went to the Birmingham farmers market today and got the falafel pita. It was amazing and loved all the toppings! I hope they come back.

Falafel perfection, full of flavor, cooked perfectly and not oily. Look for them at Fleat in Ferndale! Staff is kind and human.

Walking in, there was very limited seating and about an hour wait, which clearly showed how popular this spot is. Thankfully, the hostess told us about their basement bar area where you can grab drinks and snacks while waiting. The downstairs area had such a cool speakeasy vibe dark ambiance, vinyl music playing, and honestly the perfect date night atmosphere. The drinks were REALLY good, and you can also order appetizers down there. Once we made it upstairs, we grabbed bar seating and talked to a few people around us who all said this was their favorite spot. Our bartender was amazing -- super attentive, explained the menu well, and gave great recommendations. We ordered the wings (perfectly seasoned and so good) and the chicken sandwich with buffalo added for a little spice... absolutely delicious. I also tried the pistachio martini, and wow definitely one of my favorite drinks I've had in a while. Overall, such a great experience from the atmosphere to the food and service. I'll definitely be back, and I've already been telling all my friends about this place!

We stopped by 2941 Street Food in Royal Oak and ordered a mini Honest Bowl since we were short on time. I went with basmati rice, zaatar steak, fresh cucumber, signature hummus, lemon vinaigrette, and sunflower seeds -- and it all came together beautifully. The steak was seasoned well, the hummus added creaminess, and the lemon vinaigrette brought a fresh brightness that tied everything together. Even as a mini bowl, it was filling. They also have their ingredients and allergy information posted in-store, which I really appreciate. It makes navigating gluten-free options easier. My bowl ingredients are generally gluten-free, but if you're highly sensitive or have celiac, it's always smart to double-check with staff about marinades or dressings. The space isn't dedicated gluten-free, but having the information visible is a big plus. The restaurant was clean, calm, and welcoming. Staff was polite, friendly, and professional -- which made the whole experience feel smooth and easy. I'd absolutely recommend it for a fresh, balanced, customizable lunch in Royal Oak.
