Food Is Always Excellent. Service Was Great As Soon I Entered The Restaurant. The Atmosphere Is Very Friendly And Respectful To Their Guests.

This was my first visit. It was very crowded. We made reservations for 6 online for brunch and when we arrived, the receptionist said they were not taking reservations that day. Hmm. Not sure why they did not show that online, however, because it was Saturday, we chose to wait it out for 45min. The restaurant is a nice size. The entrance had more high chairs and bar, which they were not serving anything from there. The parking was crammed, we parked across the street on a lot. We ordered the chicken and waffles, grits and fried pork chops, biscuits and gravy, toasted ravioli with sauce and salmon patties with grits. It took a while for the food to arrive. It all looked and presented well. The chicken was seasoned well, not too salty and crispy. The waffles had no flavor and was not as crispy or crunchy as I would have liked. My eggs were lukewarm. Our waitstaff was very busy and we did not see her as much as we wanted, so I decided to keep them, however, I did not eat them. I was told the salmon patties were dry and the grits were pretty good. The toasted ravioli were good. The biscuits and gravy was good. The pork chop was a little overcooked. The coffee was delicious. The overall experience was nice. I am not sure if I would go back for any of the other dishes. It is a nice place to visit with friends and out of town guests.

My daughters and I made a reservation and went here for brunch. There ample parking available in their lot. They have a nice lobby/waiting area. They have 2 nice size dining rooms. Our server was very friendly. We had a variety of items from the menu and everything we had was nicely seasoned and delicious! The pork chops, the croquettes and the chicken were so good. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The owner came by and introduced himself and made sure everything was satisfactory. They also have some great music playing and there are a couple tv's to watch. There's also a bar area in the lobby. Go check out Elicious - it was truly delicious!

I really enjoyed my brunch at Elicious! We made a reservation ahead of time, but it wasn't too busy on a Saturday afternoon. They have plenty of parking outside the restaurant. The inside decor is very cute and really makes a good homey vibe. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The owner of the restaurant came out and said hello to everyone. The food was delicious and plenty of options for whatever you have a taste for! The fried catfish had a lot of flavor! Another person in my party tried the fried pork chops and really enjoyed those too! I look forward to coming back.

Very popular breakfast, brunch restaurant. Menu includes eggs, bacon, sausage choices and some shrimp, chicken dishes with waffles, pancakes, grits. Some bar favorites to go with brunch. Service efficient, friendly. Large dining areas. Nice morning / lunch meal atmosphere.

I have to start with the service. Not only is Elicious fully staffed, but everyone was on point. I was fortunate to be seated where I could see into the kitchen ... every hostess, cook, server, & busser was on point. Fast moving, yet friendly & professional ... even the newer ones. Our server, Mia, was great!! Knowledgeable and personable. The food. Normal breakfast fare: bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, waffles, grits, omelets, biscuits & gravy, plus fried chicken, catfish, salmon croquettes and more. All was appropriately seasoned and properly prepared. Very good, indeed. I wholeheartedly recommend Elicious!!!!

I've heard a lot about this restaurant so we decided to check it out. I also love supporting black owned businesses. This was great. We were able to make a reservation, which was great because I know that they are pretty busy. I ordered the pork chop, which was pretty good and flavorful. I also ordered the kids chicken and waffles for my daughter and she really enjoyed it. The food did take a little bit of time to come out but not too long. Overall, it was a good meal and good experience.

My family and I decided to try Elicious on a Saturday morning. There was a wait but it wasn't bad at all. We loved that the waiting area was very spacious. The host Sly, was very personable. We loved his rhymes and words of encouragement. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. She offered great recommendations. My husband ordered a Bloody Mary to start. He said it was good but that he preferred more spice to his. My daughter ordered a hot chocolate. Theirs is made with water and she prefers them with milk but she said it was fine. For meals, I ordered the Southern catfish breakfast. The catfish had good flavor and crisp. I loved the breakfast potatoes. The pancake was fine. My only recommendation would be to wait a bit to bring the warm syrup and butter. It didn't take long to get our food but because the syrup was brought so early, it was no longer warm. My husband ordered the Famous southern style pork chop breakfast. He said the pork chop was well seasoned, crispy, and juicy. He liked how well seasoned the breakfast potatoes were and that the pancake was good. My daughter ordered the Mississippi biscuits and gravy. She opted for fruit instead of breakfast meat. She enjoyed her food but said she could have used a little more salt in the gravy. Overall it was a good experience. We would love to go back and try some of the other dishes that were recommended.

I was with a group of 9 and we had the best time! There's a young man who hosts that will give you a personal uplifting message. He was awesome! He kept us updated on the wait for our table. Once seated, our waitress was great. The food came out looking just like the pictures and tasted very good. As we were about to leave the owner stopped by our table to thank us for coming. Couple notes, it was packed and it's not a big place so plan accordingly. Parking can also be challenging.

    A disappointing Bloody Mary
    Wanda H.

Yes, the rhyming host was very cute. And the food was delicious. That Bloody Mary though was pretty pathetic, both in flavor and in presentation. The service was really good too, though it took a while to get our food. It was hoppin' in there, and completely understandable. The environment lends itself to sittin' around the table talkin'. But that Bloody Mary??? Nope!

As you walk in your greeted by a great host Sly, after a quick run down of the special and a few compliments we were seated really a great way to start breakfast. Our waitress Shy was amazing took our drink orders and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. After our Mimosa were brought to the table we were able to enjoy those for a min before ordering our food. Shy recommend the catfish and it did not disappoint. Everything was amazing fresh, hot and presented very well. A little Salt and pepper goes a long way and that all you need. I got the Fried pork chop meal with scrambled eggs add cheese and pinions my wife had the chicken and waffles with that delicious catfish on the side. The dinning area was spacious and well lit, music playing in the background and plenty of seating which included a bar. Huge shout out to Sly and Shy for the amazing customer service and experience.

My dine in experiences have always been great; however, this being my second pick up order both times something was missing and today I was craving grits only to get home and find them not there. Also, the potatoes that are usually great had an abundance of salt that had to be thrown away. Please slow down and get back to the quality that you have always provided.

I felt more comfortable eating here because I could actually see the kitchen and they had great customer service. Ordered : Honey Hot Wings + Cheese Fries Honey Hot Shrimp + Fries Total : $21.00 I always said Vail Brothers on Delmar had the best shrimp , but imma pass the torch to these guys. I like that I hardly saw the sauce but it's embedded in the flavoring , the coat was still light and crisp You can tell if someone's batter is old because the crust will be loose, so I'm glad that didn't happen today. The wings were perfect , I oddly like party wings more than whole because they are so easier to eat. Normally I would prefer sauced wings to be naked but they were executed well here. Feedback : Cheese Fries are good , but the stand-alone fries need more respect. Go to Restaurant Depot they have magnetic timers that will stick on the machine or table next to it , put that thing on 3 minutes and you will have crisp quality fries every singe time , throw some fry seasoning on and boom it brings the experience full circle I also suggest some bread Get a QR code and enlarge it and stick it on that table on the front so people can know who you are and where to find you 4.5 / 5
