Bacon, sausage, white onions, mixed veggies and American cheese Omelet.

Nice cozy brunch spot. Stopped by with my wife for a new breakfast spot. The service was decent everyone was nice and service was fast. My wife got the build your own breakfast with the Chicken, scrambled eggs and white rice with a waffle on the side. I opted for the build your own omelet with bacon, sausage, white onions, pepper mix with American cheese. Also had a side of thier O'Brain Potatos with cheese. Everythings was amazing and the portions were a nice size.

I had a make your own omelette. This one had peppers, shrimp, onions and pepper jack cheese. Oh and spinach suggested by my server. Great suggestion! The place is a cute little place with breakfast, coffee and mamosas. Serice was great too. The only things ng that bothered me was the bathrooms and a few other things could be cleaner. I will be back. Go check it out!

While visiting St Louis I learned about a local small business called Hive Cafe . The menu had tons of brunch options . I decided to order the wings and waffles with butter grits on the side . The chicken was season so good , definitely my favorite. The service was fine , we were seated right away . But as we were leaving I notice all tables were filled . I plan on checking out this restaurant again

Great food and great service. We would definitely come back soon. We also enjoyed the vibe

Very cute breakfast/brunch cafe and they're open on Mondays! I've taken a couple folks here and the food and service are excellent. I've tried the shrimp and grits, the french toast, and the chicken and waffles. All of it was delicious. They have mimosa options as well as a bar for mixed drinks. Parking is off street but shared with the local residents who live above the restaurant (that has to be unnecessarily tempting if you work from home!) Anywho, check them out. They manage mid size groups pretty well. I'll return!

The food was magnificent. The ambience was great. The service was lovely. The weight was about. I say eight minutes, but it was well worth it.

We visited on a whim this past weekend and were completely amazed by this little gem. The staff were attentive and friendly. The chef cooked up a delicious breakfast. And the bartender absolutely nailed it. The vibe is open and inviting, good for small or large parties. We ordered a build a breakfast which allowed complete customization of the items and a breakfast bowl. The boozy holiday drink menu had so many options it was hard to choose one. Overall great experience and we will absolutely return!

A side of potatoes, grits, and bacon

The food here at the Hive Cafe is so good that I had to come back again lol. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly face and the vibes were on point. The first time I visited I tried the Build-A-Breakfast and it comes with two sides, a choice of bread, and a choice meat. I had French toast (2 pieces come with it) and for my sides, I chose grits, bacon, and some breakfast potatoes. I also ordered a Dusse Punch for my drink and everything was so good! When I came back the 2nd time, I ordered the Fast Breakfast croissant, egg, and cheese. I added bacon to it and to drink I just ordered some apple juice. My food was delicious this time as well and my waitress both visits were super sweet.

This restaurant has been buzzing around me for months now so I was excited to to finally give it a try. It was the cutest little cafe!!! Cute little tables and chairs and a small bar seating area. Very well lit. They were pretty packed when we arrived but the wait wasn't too long for seating. The food was really really good minus the large amount of butter. I literally enjoyed every single bite. I'd actually rate the French Toast in the top 3 in STL. The eggs were fluffy and pancake nice and crispy. The severs were very tentative and I have no complaints. The only headache was the parking. Shout to the owner for jumping in to cook! Love to see it. I'll be back!

This restaurant was recommended by a friend of mines. The staff were very friendly. Greeted and seated right away on a Friday morning. It started to get busy to noon. Food came out within a decent time frame. Presentation was great. The shrimp were well seasoned and flavorful, however the Grits lacked taste. I'll be back to try a few more things off their menu. Restaurant is black own. Parking available on site

Everyone was very friendly. The aesthetics were cool, there was beautiful artwork and a fireplace in the back. Very comfy. The food was tasty as well. I ordered chicken and waffles which was 10 out of 10. Chicken was flavorful and Delicious. My breakfast companion ordered an omelette and it was huge. Probably a shareable item but this was missing some flavor or the fried chicken just made it seem bland as I was ruined by how delicious the chicken and waffles was. I would return for sure. Enjoy!

Went here on a weekday morning to get some breakfast. When we walked in, it's self seating. There was a small crowd so the sound was good. I like the windows all around to get a view of the area. The waitress was very accommodating and nice. They gave us plenty time to order and our food came in at a decent time. I got chicken and waffles with some eggs and fruit. I also got a latte that was good. The chicken was well seasoned and the waffle was buttery and delicious. Eggs were the best. I would return.

First time visiting and will be back! Our server Deja was awesome. She was very patient and so nice. She recommended great food choices and had great service. Food was delicious. Came out within 15 minutes from ordering the chicken was fresh and crispy, egg scrambled just right and the French toast were soft and fluffy. The food was just delicious, will be back. The restaurant was very clean and playing great music.

There is additional parking on the side alley way which is where I went. As you enter they have classic hits playing and of there is a wait (which we waited about 15 minutes), they give you a buzzer. I looked online before I arrived so I knew exactly what I wanted. Mimosa was good! The server was nice and the food came out in a decent time. The fish was crispy and delicious. The Shrimp and grits was so flavorful. My friend said she didn't need to add hot sauce to her chicken because it was seasoned so well. Waffle was so good. We left full and satisfied. I felt more comfortable eating here because I could actually see the kitchen and they had great customer service. Ordered : Honey Hot Wings + Cheese Fries Honey Hot Shrimp + Fries Total : $21.00 I always said Vail Brothers on Delmar had the best shrimp , but imma pass the torch to these guys. I like that I hardly saw the sauce but it's embedded in the flavoring , the coat was still light and crisp You can tell if someone's batter is old because the crust will be loose, so I'm glad that didn't happen today. The wings were perfect , I oddly like party wings more than whole because they are so easier to eat. Normally I would prefer sauced wings to be naked but they were executed well here. Feedback : Cheese Fries are good , but the stand-alone fries need more respect. Go to Restaurant Depot they have magnetic timers that will stick on the machine or table next to it , put that thing on 3 minutes and you will have crisp quality fries every singe time , throw some fry seasoning on and boom it brings the experience full circle I also suggest some bread Get a QR code and enlarge it and stick it on that table on the front so people can know who you are and where to find you 4.5 / 5

On a Friday night there were too many young ppl around the front of the business, almost had me drive away but I persisted because I had to understand what this hot honey shrimp was about. I wait to place my order with all these young ppl walking around going into the kitchen area which is separated by a cart on wheels. Yes you see them cooking but I guess code violations dont exist in the hood so I just turned my head praying for the best and that I wouldn't get food poisoning. I placed my order and waited for about 10-15 mins. Yes it was my theater meal but it was average at best. I couldn't see the shrimp but I could tell some of the breading was coming off. I agree about the fries because they were quite limp and no particular seasoning. It wasn't the worst but so many signs said skip this place so I'll listen next time and keep my little brownie in the county.

Walking out, both of us said, we're definitely coming back.
