I contacted Eli after seeing several reviews on yelp and, as others have said, he was prompt, he showed up when he promised he would, he gave a very fair estimate and his team was professional, nice and came with all the tools they needed to get the job done. Our wonderful puppy went through a chewing phase and took out our banister, some hardwood steps, a windowsill and lots of trim work along the floor. Eli Amitay and his crew did an exceptional job upgrading our screened porch to make it more dog proof, and at a fair price. They added cedar balusters all around (about 60). The spacing is even and accurate and they meticulously cut each baluster to fit tightly into the existing frame. They also rescreened the entire porch and took the time to remove 100's of old staples from previous screen installations and sanded down the surface for a tight and smooth screen fit. They also painted all of the trim and balusters. They arrived on time each day and cleaned up before leaving. I selected Eli Amitay after meeting with two other well rated contractors who seemed uncertain about retrofitting balusters, but said they would do the job. From deck building and other carpentry experience, Eli was very clear about how best to approach the job and then delivered on that expertise. I've been looking for a reliable, honest and capable handyman for a while and the search stops with Eli. He communicates well, cleans up after himself and most importantly does great work!
