Timur Construction did drywall repair for our walls, master closet and ceiling, fixed popped screws in our ceiling and painted. Timur came out to view the repairs and provided a detailed quote in a timely manner (reasonable rate) - communication was excellent. Timur and Kostiantyn arrived at the scheduled time and did an excellent job. They were both detailed oriented. You cannot see where any of the work needed to be done! The house was left clean. We hired Timur to fix about a dozen popped dry wall screws in our ceiling as well as patch a gap between two different drywall panels also on the ceiling. He was extremely responsive in getting a quote sent our way, and once we decided to contract with him, he was able to come out the very next day (but we asked him to come the day after). Timur was communicative, professional, efficient, considerate, and thorough. He double checked with us to make sure he had gotten all of the popped screws that we had wanted him to fix, and even offered to touch up other spots around the house with the paint he had mixed since there was extra. I am giving this business ONLY 2 stars because the manner the owner chose to handle my request to quote process. Once I submitted my scope of work which was "drywall mudding & taping "of already installed drywall. His first response "unable to service" second response " I do not offer that service" (FYI: the name of the business is Drywall Repair & Plaster). I think he forgot the name of business. When asked "What service you don't offer?" I think this is a fair question, right. His response was "we don't do big projects" and I stated "you have not seen the project or asked me a specific questions to determine if the job is to big for you." Once I said that his response was "sorry we do not service Maryland and for clarification I live in Fort Washington, Md 12 minutes from Wilson bridge and 20 minutes from Alexandria Va. Suggest for the future of your business please be honest from the beginning on what you are will to do and where you are willing to go (nothing on Yelp or your website states that you do not service Maryland) Good luck sir business owner. He and Norbeck were consistently timely, organized and prepared to patch our 17 holes from a whole home repiping as well as doing priming and painting of some ceiling water stains. It was a formidable job but they finished in 3 full days(!), handled all the supplies, matched paint colors and the work was beautifully done. Very impressed with the finish work. Timur was professional from the initial communication to the completion of the job. He gave an estimate through yelp and stuck with the price he gave. The price we paid was on the very high end. We received quotes from several other companies that was at least $200-$300 cheaper. We chose to go with Timur because of the consistency of the positive reviews. I'm glad we chose to go with Timur because his work exceeded our expectations. He matched the paint color and base boards perfectly. Now all we have to do is get the padding installed and carpet stretched and the project is complete. Timur was exceptional to work with, and very pleasant. The company did a wonderful job in replacing and repainting our ceiling due to water damage, including drying and treating with antimicrobials. They protected our carpets/furniture and cleaned up everything after completing the work. In addition, even though it was not needed, they repainted the entire ceiling to ensure uniformity since a previous repair from another service had left some unfinished patches. Great experience overall! Timur was quick to provide a quote after I provided him a detailed request, along with photos. Quoted amount was what I paid. It wasn't the lowest quote, but far from the highest. (Out of 6 quotes) He said it would take 4 visits. It did and the visits were 4 days in a row. Each day he let me know what time him and/or his crew would arrive and they arrived right on time, every time. Upon completion, Timur was sure to make everything was good to go before accepting payment and let me know to give him a call if I spot any errors while priming and painting. I had a water leak in my basement and needed a fair amount of drywall replaced. I reached out to Timur and provided details. He provided me an estimate, which turned out to be the least expensive of the three I got. We set up an appointment for him to do the work, he confirmed the night before with the time he would arrive, and he showed up on time the next day (a bit early actually). He and his helper got right to work and got the job done in about 7 hours - it looks better than it did before the leak! After they finished painting the new drywall and replacing and painting the baseboard, they replaced the receptacle and light switch covers and even replaced a curtain rod bracket that was removed when the leak happened. I couldn't be happier with their work and the value (estimate was exactly what he charged). read more

I'm ages late writing this review, but Timur did great work for me twice. The first time was after a pipe burst in my ceiling. Definitely not the cheapest quote, but not the most expensive either. Great work, and you could not tell that anything was ever wrong after the work was finished. If I can find my "before" and "after" pictures I'll post them, but the difference was fantastic, and Timur worked around my furniture, covering it up and then putting it back in place. A couple of years later I decided to sell my house, and the realtor convinced me to fix an ugly ceiling blotch in one of the bedrooms. I had ignored it since buying the place, but once Timur fixed it I was kicking myself for not having it done earlier. This time the price was much lower (apparently fixing the mess after a burst pipe is much harder than just making a big, ugly patch on the ceiling look smooth and pretty), and wow, what a difference! By now I wouldn't work with anyone else. read more

We hired Timur to fix a bunch of nail pops and cracks in our drywall. The drywall work was great, impeccable really -- after patching and sanding, everything was perfectly smooth and you can't tell there was ever a crack. 10/10 Despite best effort to match the original paint, the new paint is just off by a tiny bit -- something that's not uncommon and that Timur has mentioned to me before starting the job. It's never fun to have a leak and watch a plumber cut huge holes into your newly remodeled ceiling. But once you get over that hurdle, you have to stress about finding someone who can repair it well. Timur is that person. He was very responsive and I appreciated that he requested images and provided a quote via text (an efficient way to communicate). I did not price compare; I wanted the job done quickly and have done enough projects to know it was probably a little on the high side but I do not regret what I paid or feel it was unreasonable. Timur gave me a date and time and texted when he was on his way. He and his partner worked efficiently, and were very respectful of our home; cleaning as best you can when fine drywall dust is involved. After letting the areas dry, oddly one of the areas did not look quite right in the evening when a certain lamp was the only light source (so he couldn't have known). I sent him a text and he stopped by again as soon as his schedule permitted and fixed it right up. He is very skilled, very proud of his work and is talents - as he should be. Timur is not very chatty or bubbly, he's serious and focused but I found him to be very nice, and very easy to communicate with. I would and will hire him again. Highly recommend. read more
