Jorge was quick, friendly, and professional. We had him repair drywall and repaint some ceiling and wall sections, and he did a great job.

Handy Manny's did so much work at my house, repairing plaster walls, drywall ceilings, painting. My favorites was how well my red brick fireplace looked after they painted it. They were professional, efficient, great communications. I only wish I had more work for them to do. Great value. Highly recommend them. read more

From start to finish, Handy Manny's Painting exceeded my expectations. Chrissy was very communicative and helpful via email and phone call as the first touchpoint and the coordinator for the walkthrough/estimate, scheduling the work, and the follow-up when we needed some minor assistance after the fact. Manny was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable during the walkthrough., and stopped by during the day-of while the crew was working. The star of the show was Leonel and his crew. Leonel, the team lead, was great. I had a few questions about our drywall repair and he was very thorough in explaining it to me, and ensuring I was satisfied with the quality of work. And when follow-up was needed after the job, he and two of the crew came back to make sure everything was up to snuff. I couldn't be more grateful to HMP for everything and I'll be sure to use them for any future painting needs and recommend them far and wide! read more

I found Handy Manny's on Facebook and was impressed by the reviews. Recently we had water damage to a few ceilings and needed drywall repairs. We also had a few other projects that we had been putting off doing. I contacted Chrissy and she was very responsive in setting up an appointment with Manny to do a walkthrough with me. Manny and his team are awesome! They completed the work in one day and everything looks terrific. Manny did a walkthrough with us after the work was completed and Chrissy followed up with an email. We are very happy that we chose Handy Manny's and plan to use them for future projects. read more

Feels like I found a hidden gem here. We used Handy Manny's to complete drywall finishing work on new ceiling drywall that we installed. Company was quick with responses and all communications. The pricing was competitive, particularly in a space (drywall work) where rates have become unhinged. Jorge did the work itself, and he was on-time, friendly, excellent with communication, and the actual quality of his work was top notch. 100% coming back again for more finishing jobs. read more

I highly recommend Handy Manny's Painting services to anyone in the Northern Virginia area. From our first email communication to our completed job it has been such an easy process, extremely professional and top notch 5 star service all the way. Our bathroom looks fantastic and we will absolutely use them again in a heartbeat. We would highly recommend to anyone we know! read more

I originally learned of Handy Manny's via the neighborhood Facebook group, and all the glowing comments there (and here) are true! They surpassed my expectations with the attention to detail, and they treated my home like it was a million dollar mansion(which I assure you, it's not!). Communication from Chrissy (estimates and my numerous beginner questions) to Manny (9onsite walkthrough) to Leonel (on-site) was exceptional. As a caregiver to a brain injury survivor, it's important that we know what to expect on a daily basis-Leonel not only insured that we were aware each step of the way, but also adjusted his crew's work so she could get some extra sleep before starting on her room (without me ever asking). There's no other company you need to call. You found your painters! read more

After an upstairs neighbor had a leak that caused some ceiling issues, I needed some repair and a repaint of my kitchen/living room. I had never heard of them previously, but they popped up on Instagram one day, so I reached out for a quote. They gave me a few options as one section needed to be cut out and the drywall replaced, and others could be repaired with just spackling and tape. The price seemed good, scheduled, and two weeks later they were here to complete the work. They arrived on-time, moved a few pieces of furniture that needed moving (sofa, chair)...covered everything with plastic or tarps, and got to work. The hole main damaged area was cut out and replaced...they fixed a few other cracks as well. Did two coats of paint, and cleaned everything up when they were done. It was a pretty painless process, and the final results look great, and in the end the final price was what I was quoted. I highly recommend them! read more

They are the guys! Happy to share our experience with Handy Manny's Painting. They came to fix our kitchen ceiling, which was awful after a HUGE water leak, and they did an AMAZING job, it's like new, you can't see at all where it was!! Highly recommend! read more

So thrilled with the work Handy Manny's has done on my home! We asked them to paint our entryway, stairs, and playroom and I was so happy with their work that I hired them back to do our dining room, living room, and kitchen. The whole team is super responsive, professional, and detail-oriented. You can tell when someone takes pride in their work, and the Handy Manny team truly does. Their pricing is incredibly fair for the high quality of work they do (I had a previous contractor charge me almost double what HM quoted and the work was so shoddy!) 5 stars, will definitely be hiring them again! read more

Did an amazing job! Love our new accent wall!! Was a small job but were very accommodating and easy to work with. read more

Professional from beginning to end. They painted the interior of my entire house! Money well spent!

Without a close second,by far the BEST experience with any trades person in my home, EVER! From the initial email inquiry, to the first visit, well written and thorough estimate, through the scheduling, arrival of workers, performance and clean up, I have only very positive comments. Manny and Chrissy run a terrific business and their crew is exceptional. Included in the contract was a detailed account of what my responsibility was (removing photos from walls, etc) and what their's was. I hired them to repaint three rooms, a stairwell, stair fronts, base boards, and window trim. It was a total of four colors. I found their estimate (which was the total cost) to be very fair and reasonable. They scheduled a 7am arrival and unlike most other folks that come to a house to do work, there was no 4 hour window! They were at my house at 7am sharp! They worked quickly, only taking a 30 minute lunch, and left my house perhaps cleaner than when they arrived. I would recommend them 1000 times and will absolutely use them again! The crew sang a little bit while they worked and although I'm sure if it bothered me I could have asked and they would have stopped, but it was quite a treat! read more

I cannot recommend Handy Manny's Painting enough! They painted my living/dining space and bedroom and were done in about 6 hours. The result is even better than I was expecting. I also really appreciate how well they left my apartment overall. If it weren't for the box of leftover paint and the beautifully painted walls, I would never have known they were there. Manny and Chrissy Bonilla are a great team and made my entire experience the best it could be. Definitely reach out to them for all of your home painting needs! read more

For months I was fooling myself that I was going to patch up the holes in my wall myself. Additionally, when I installed my NEST thermostat, a big hole behind the original thermostat prevented me from anchoring the nest properly- enter in command strips! Yes command strips were securing the thermostat to the wall! After seeing a few neighborhood reviews of Handy Mandy, I made the call! At first I wondered if the quote was too high, maybe I could have called around a bit more but not wanting to wait a few more months and they had immediate availability. It was now or never...and I don't regret it at all!! It looks so great- you can't even tell the area was a gaping hole or that there's touch up paint. As for the thermostat issue- we'll after examining the area, Jorge, my assigned tech, suggested we cut a bigger hole - I winced but trusted his judgment. Worked like a charm, now I had dry wall I could anchor in the screws!! WORTH IT!! read more

Our experience with Handy Manny Painting was outstanding from start to finish! Chrissy was absolutely wonderful as our main point-of-contact in the planning stages. She provided accurate and well-organized estimates, and she was so kind and provided a couple different estimates as we thought through which rooms/services we needed for the house; she never made me feel bad for reaching out with changes or additions to the scope of the project. Manny also came out in person to do a walk through, and he helped us finalize decisions for the project. The 4-person team who came to do the painting and wall repair not only did exceptional work, but they were also very courteous, professional, and efficient. We will 100% reach back out to Handy Manny for any future painting projects, and we've already provided their contact info to multiple friends and neighbors! If you're looking for exceptional quality and top notch customer service, this is the company to work with! read more

These guys are amazing! We just bought a house that needed a LOT of paint and some drywall work. We had some outdated crown molding, gold sponge paint, nail pops, and lots of nail & screw holes with anchors. Manny and his team did phenomenal work painting every inch of this house! They were meticulous and thorough. The walls all look smooth and clean...not a trace of sponge paint texture anywhere! Manny's team was prompt, professional and courteous while they worked around us and our two pups. Any furniture that needed to be moved was treated with the utmost of care. From estimate to scheduling to final walk through- everything went super smoothly. Communication was fantastic and the estimate was very fair. Do not hesitate to put your trust in Manny and his team for your project. Thank you Manny, Chrissy and team for breathing life back into our new home! read more

Handy Manny and his crew did a wonderful job painting our new home - adeptly covering up very dark colors with light, fresh ones. Chrissy was responsive, patient, and SO helpful through the process of getting a quote, choosing and buying paint, and handled all my questions gracefully. The crew arrived right on time and got to work fast - they moved so fast I thought maybe they skipped something but there were four of them and they were a well-oiled machine. The job was completed on time and, in a feat unequalled, my father in law was happy and had good things to say. Highly recommend!! read more

Handy Manny's painting came recommended to me from multiple people in my neighborhood. I had seen a number of before and after photos along with trusted testimonials so I very much expected the work to be great. I hired Handy Manny earlier this year to paint my bedroom and the work was flawless. They did such a beautiful job that I asked them to come back and repaint it pink after I changed the whole design scheme. They painted the closet doors, trim, and ceiling for me as well, and again, it's flawless. They left the room better than they found it and respected all of my furniture and hard wood floors. Booking was incredibly easy thanks to Chrissy! I'll be hiring Handy Manny for all my house projects in the future, and I think you should too :) read more
