Oscar and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with. We needed some emergent repairs that we bundled with renovations. They are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. We had started out as DIY, but due to some hidden problems from the seller, we were forced to get help. Oscar came in and was able to get us started asap, and had our first stage, 2 bathrooms, done in 2 weeks (3 weeks, but Thanksgiving and Friday after, we took a break). We had the 3rd bathroom done a few weeks later, which required a full demo, but they were just as efficient. The work is impeccable and we are very happy. We love our new bathrooms. Oscar and his team did a wonderful job on various projects around my house, including removing a door and frame, putting in studs and drywall, putting in shoe moulding, removing shadowbox paneling, patching and repairing drywall holes from electrical work, removing a non load bearing wall, and painting a bedroom. The work quality was excellent. Oscar arrived timely to look at my space and provide a free estimate, and his quote was very reasonable and the best of several I received. He and his team arrived early for the job on both days that it took for the project. They put down drop cloths and cleaned up after they left, leaving everything tidy. We hired Oscar to do a lot of work to the exterior of our house (powerwashing the whole exterior and driveway; painting the doors, shutters, siding, brick, and exposed foundation; and patching some chipped concrete on our front steps). Oscar and his crew did a great job. Not only was Oscar the fastest to respond with a quote, but he gave me the best quote of the three contractors I asked for quotes from. Oscar was a good communicator. He also was very honest. There were several instances where he suggested I did not paint a particular surface because it was in great condition and in the right color (e.g., our soffits). He could have made more money by not telling me this information, but instead decided to be honest. I appreciate that level of trustworthiness and transparency--I felt he genuinely wanted to help us achieve our goals in the best and most cost-effective way possible. First of all, the name of his business should be changed from "Oscar's Painting" to "Oscar's Remodeling". He did an amazing job upgrading my 1980s D-I-Y (in the house when I bought it) horrible bathroom to one that is truly spectacular. He worked with me on the design, then worked diligently with his crew until it was finished. He even came over on a Saturday to finish up. He stripped the old bathroom down to the studs, had to move around both the electrical circuits and all the plumbing, he built the shower entirely from scratch. He installed new installation, a new vanity, mirror, and completely reworked a closet. He also did a wonderful job stripping and painting the old wood door (it now looks like new). He did all the tile work, grouting, sealing, painting and carpentry. He also did sone additional work I needed around the house. All in all, he's extremely versatile, can do just about anything related to remodeling, very easy to work with, the final product is excellent, and he was less expensive than other contractors. I highly recommend Oscar's Painting, and will definitely use him in the future for more projects. read more

I contacted Oscar's painting for an estimate for interior painting. He replied quickly and we arranged a prompt meeting. Oscar was very helpful in deciding how things should be handled and provided me the requested estimate very quickly. The crew (including Oscar) showed up as scheduled on the first day. One thing I liked is that they didn't start painting or scraping. They cleaned the walls and baseboards before starting. They took excellent care of my house. They put up plastic to keep the dust from moving around and made sure the everything was put away at the end of the first day. They showed up promptly on the second day, also. They worked quickly and neatly and my ceiling, walls, and baseboards look great! I knew they were getting close to finishing when I heard the vacuum running again.
