Highly recommend Herbert and his crew. I had a large-scale project that took a little over two weeks, and they handled it flawlessly. Here's a breakdown of the work: - Finished construction of an unfinished basement - Herbert guided me through the entire floor plan, explaining the electrical layout, wall placements, and ideal appliance orientation - Built a kitchen from scratch -- excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail - Painted the entire house, including ceilings, walls, floors, and even the garage They completed all of this in just over two weeks, working 7 days a week from 7 AM to 7 PM. The quality of the work was outstanding. Herbert was reliable, responsive, and extremely accommodating. I had multiple change requests during the job, and he handled all of them without hesitation. After getting several quotes, Herbert's pricing was the most competitive. All work was completed to code and with professionalism. If you're looking for a skilled, jack-of-all-trades contractor, Herbert is your guy. He brings in specialists for larger tasks (electrical, plumbing, landscaping, etc.) and manages the project seamlessly. I'll definitely be calling him for future work on my properties and strongly recommend him to others. read more

The previous owners left no paint cans and no colour name for the stairwell. He took a chip off a spot behind the switch plate and had it matched at the counter. The touch-up blends in well enough that I can't find the patch unless I already know where it is. read more

Herbert at Davinci's was a pleasure to work with. I contracted them to repaint our house and they were not only very response and gave us a very competitive estimate, but most importantly they did an amazing job on the project! They were very flexible to schedule the work and made the process very smooth with minimal impact on my schedule, which was greatly appreciated now that I am going back into the office. They contracted with Sherwin Williams to obtain the paint, which was an easy process to choose colors. During the power washing a few items were broken (of course this happens), but Herbert was great and assured me they would fix those items promptly, which they did. The painting was meticulous with great attention to detail. There was an area we did not include in the estimate and they were happy to add it at a small additional cost. Our home looks wonderful and we are extremely pleased with the results! I would highly recommend Davinci's and we will be using them to do an interior project next :) read more

They did a fantastic job for us and I highly recommend them! Hebert was able to come out and do an estimate for us right away, and he was exactly on time and very professional. They were able to start the work within a few days, which meant they were able to complete it before we moved into our new house which was great. The paint job was excellent -- they repaired dry wall and painted ceilings, walls and trim for us. The price was very affordable. Communication was good and the whole process was seamless and convenient. It really doesn't get any better than this. We are grateful to Davinci's Painting and would definitely recommend them. When we have other projects around our new home, we will definitely have them do it. read more

We had the exterior of our townhouse in Alexandria painted by DaVinci's painting a week ago. I had spoken to Herbert on the phone and had asked him how he paints siding. He said that he uses a brush and a roller. Wow! I thought this is our guy! Spray painting just does not last as long from our experience. So, we were pleased that he was more of an old school painter. His crew completed the task in a timely manner and we were very happy with the end result. Thank you, Herbert! read more

DaVincis painting did an excellent job painting my entire 3 story townehouse. Their attention to detail was great, and they provided me with great advice and insights. I will be hiring them again in the spring to do exterior painting and staining of my deck. Thank you for the excellent experience. read more

Painted my whole house and it looks great. Took 3-4 guys 3 days to paint a 1500 sq/ft house, they did good work and at a fair price.

Davinci's Painting and Mr Herbert Jechuna did a very good job for us. In our case they did painting of a 4 story townhouse and they also replaced a new carpet throughout the house. In both instances they did a great job. They worked quickly and well, communicated clearly before and during the job and provided the service expected, on time, at a competitive price and with attention to details. Having done a previous job with another company I could appreciate how much more attention to detail Davinci's group put. I would hire them for future works and recommend them with confidence. read more

I had a great experience with Davinci. From the beginning of project they were very responsive, answered questions promptly and provided a thorough written estimate. They arrived when they said they would and the project was done on time. It looks great. They cleaned afterwards so that I had minimal clean up. It was well worth the cost. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Davinci's painting and Herbert himself. Where do I start?! Divincis' team meticulously painted my entire house, displaying a level of precision and attention to detail that is second to none. You'd think their specialty ended there, but they proved to be a jack-of-all-trades. Not only did they expertly handle drywall repair and patio staining as well - but they also seamlessly hung light fixtures, did board-and-battan wood design, installed toilets for me, hauled away old materials..all enhancing the overall aesthetic of my home. It's the willingness to go above and beyond that sets them apart. No task was too big or too small; they were more than happy to handle any odd job around the house I threw their way. You will thank yourself later to hire them! Thank you Herbert + team!! -Malory read more

Herbert pride provides amazing service at a very reasonable price. He is responsive, professional, and provides excellent recommendations for not only painting but other small projects around the house as well. I highly recommend him and his team. read more

Recently, Herbert and his team painted the exterior of the whole house and we are very happy about the result, and impressed by their efficiency and workmenship. As we had replaced most of the windows and rebuilt a brand new deck, they made an effort to maticulousely protect them from paint droppings or any damages, true to what they said to "protect your property as if it were our own." They never cut corners and followed every step exactly as promised. Whenever we raised our concerns, Herbert always helped solve the issue right on the spot to our satisfaction. We highly command and recommend Da Vinci's Painting. read more

Herbert's team did an excellent job. I had a small galley kitchen painted, this involved removal of wallpaper, surface prep, priming and painting of the walls and ceiling. They completed the project in less than 2 days, were professional and completed the work well. I definitely recommend. read more

Cost is great. If you have a small space or are doing a flip they're perfect. For a house you live in - go with a professional. Will not use again. Summary they are sloppy and careless. They came in day 1 and repaired a lot of drywall and put down paper and tarps to protect the areas they were working in. By day 2 they started getting sloppy. They also chose to use our downstairs powder room to clean their brushes instead of the laundry sink. They utterly destroyed my hardwood stairs. They didn't clean up paint drops. They didn't really prime anything just a thin spackle coat where you could see the previous colors easily. Hector was surprised how much more paint he needed to buy. Researching online I now know red and orange need tinted primer or a minimum of 5 coats. A professional should know this and estimate and plan accordingly. It looks like a good homeowner done job not paid professionals. After 3 coats they cleaned up the areas they were working in although clearly not done and did not prep the rest of the house. They spilled pain and spackle all over the sunroom floor. It did get cleaned up eventually. Our powder room we took from carribean blue to pineapple cream - no primer so it is more of a green color - it looks nice so I let it go but again not what you expect from a professional. The guy they assigned to paint trim was just tossing paint on it. Dribs and slubs everywhere, no priming, no cleaning and he still missed spots. I told him it was an issue he made minimal changes. I told Hector who said, "ok" and never talked to the guy just let him keep slopping paint on. Every single door where they did front and back they did not do the narrow in between side. After they cleaned up entirely Hector was receptive to letting me mark everything I saw as an issue with tape so they could come back and fix it. They spent an entire day 8am to 6 pm fixing things AFTER they thought it was 100% done. The photos are all issues I found after their clean up day. They told us they would move everything. Instead they got paint on clothing and pans and furniture. They left 1/2 a hefty bag of garbage scattered in my front yard, used painters tape, new and used sandpaper. So much trash. They left both coat closets full of drywall. The photos show uneven lines. Pans found with paint on them. Paint on wood because they fixed areas after removing protective tape/plastic. Painters tape left under other paint. They got paint on many outlets and light switches and in many cases even after I marked them they just put the furniture back to hide them instead of cleaning them. In fairness Hector only charged me the cost of the extra paint for the 5 coats. I waited 1 month to see how things would settle and a lot of the paint on faucets/floors is coming off during routine house cleaning. The door photo where the paint is already peeling, probably because they didn't clean before painting over it, are from today. I don't know if the Sherwin Williams Emerald is particularly gloppy or if it was technique/not priming but the paint almost has a stucco look. read more

The quality was not good and was messy. He doesn't use primer or wait for the paint to cure and paints over shortly after so all of our paint jobs are chipping Herbert was not there to monitor his workers and we had to manage the project Don't take his offer if he suggests to do other things they were done very poorly (our fault for not going with someone licensed or professional in those areas) Message me if you want more details. read more

We tried out Davinci's with a couple smaller projects, and when they did a nice job, we hired them to paint our kitchen. Not only are the results great, but Herbert even dropped by, decided it would look better with another coat, and they came a third day and did a third coat at no extra cost! I call that going above and beyond. They gave me a quote to do the exterior and the price was quite reasonable, so I will be using them again. read more

Very good work. Very responsive and work was done very well. No drama, everything was handled well.

After buying a new home that needed a LOT of work, we knew we needed someone reliable and affordable to take on all our projects. After doing some research, we decided to have Davinci Painting complete our home renovations which included: removing textured ceilings throughout the house and repainting the entire home (approximately 2400 sq ft including vaulted ceilings), removing a half-wall, renovating our staircase, painting our kitchen cabinets and island, removing the existing kitchen countertops, installing a kitchen backsplash, installing new lighting and new lighting fixtures, painting the garage, and re-doing the garage floors with epoxy. There was a ton of work to be done and it came out fantastic. I cannot recommend them enough! They were professional and were able to finish our many projects within a couple of weeks, they were diligent to make sure everything was perfect and worked with us to make it just how we wanted. They were also very reasonably priced. Herbert was very communicative and would send us updates and pictures as the work progressed. We are really grateful we found them and will definitely be looking to DaVinci for our future projects. read more

Hired Davinci's painting to do my lower 2 floors - a big job - and it could not have gone better. Herbert and his team were professional, super detail oriented, and clean. They repainted all of my family room, living and dining rooms, and a bathroom, all of which badly needed paint after years of renters living there on and off. They gave our home a much needed facelift. They spackled every minor blemish on all the walls and painted nearly every inch of the trim. Would definitely hire them again. Here's to a job well done! read more

I asked Ken to do an estimate on a carpentry project. Then he came out and poke a few holes on my wood trim. There is big hole he made that a mice can get in. Not sure what he was thinking. Maybe damaging your property first so you have to hire him for the project? If a wood is soft, you can lightly press it to tell. Why do you need to peel everything off? UPDATED IN RESPONSE TO THEIR COMMENT. Paul posted an offensive comment and edited SEVEN times. (see photos below). I am only going to respond to the first one. (see photo below). In the comment, he called a me FOOL. If you want to spend thousands of dollars to be called a fool, then they are the right company. In the first redline, they claimed they didn't lay a finger on the trim. However, the other photo they sent to me clearly showed the hole they poked. (see photo below). It is a lie. In the second redline, they claimed I asked them to use tiny 1" wood to fix exterior. I have never done so. Please provide evidences like I am doing here. This is also a lie. In the last redline, they said are you a carpenter, obviously not. How do you know? Why does it matter? You have a carpenter title. However, it seems like the title does not even teach you how to talk. UPDATED IN RESPONSE TO NEW EDITED COMMENT. I put the screenshot with more new offensive languages in red circle. Herbert worked on both my interior and exterior painting.. very fast and professional! I highly recommend Davinci's for a fast turnaround. Here's a before & after. Beautiful job completed within 3 hours! Im a little sad that the gray color I picked end up looking very blue, but it's not the paint workers' fault at all. read more

Wow.... Herbert and his team was wonderful, amazing and so nice to work with. I was hesitate to ask Herbert's help to do the exterior painting since I have a bad experience with an independent home inspector. I was going to hire a painting company. But I am so glad I called for his help. His team did a power wash that was the best so far compare to other power wash companies I hired. The exterior painting is just beautiful that made my house stand out :-) His team was respectful and cleaned up after the job was done. Herbert kept his work schedule as promised and kept me informed. Herbert: thank you so much for your work. All the best to you and your team. Keep up the good work. read more
