Taqueria El Lugar - This would be the corn tortilla beef quesadilla. Once you try the corn and flour 'dillas it will be hard to pick which one next time.

They should definitely take down their call ahead. So I've been to this place before and the food…read moredoes taste good. The horrible thing about particular location is there customer service. They either never answer the phone or is always busy. This time, I was trying to place a large phone order but was put on hold for over 10 minutes, then they hangs up on me. I call back, she hangs up again when I say I'm trying to place a calling order. I call back AGAIN because I need to place a large order. It's the same young lady that answers and I tell her what previously transpired. She then proceeded to tell me angrily that I'm not the only person who's trying to place an order. I advise I understood that but with over 10 minutes and multiple calls, I should be able to place my order as well that would have been well over $100. I even apologize that she was having a frustrating time. Her answer to that was to try to put me on hold again. The people at my office love these tacos and it's so out of the way to go to the one off of 5th Street, but it doesn't look like the one on Gentry Pkwy neither want or need the business. They really need better help and/or better training for to avoid missing out on potential revenue.

Excellent taqueria that I loved in Dallas before I moved to Tyler TX. El Lugar has a variety of…read moretacos. Our Tyler area needs to reach out to fans of taquerias since the Mexican American population is growing fastest around here.

My wife and I have a running tradition: when it's time to decide where to eat, we enter a highly…read morecompetitive round of "I don't care, you pick." It usually lasts longer than a Marvel movie. But when we find out Malah Kita is going to be at The Exchange on Broadway, the decision becomes instant. No debate. No back-and-forth. Just a two-word answer: Malah. Kita. This Filipino food truck isn't just good--it's stop-talking-mid-bite-to-make-happy-noises good. Every dish I've tried has been an explosion of flavor, comfort, and culinary brilliance. Whether it's their perfectly crisp lumpia, rich adobo, or whatever magic they're working that day, Malah Kita is serving up food that would make your Lola proud. And let me talk about the customer service--these folks are genuinely kind, quick with a smile, and clearly passionate about what they do. It's like being served by family (the ones you actually like). They're not open every day (which is probably good for my wallet and cholesterol), but when they roll up to The Exchange, it's a full-on event. The food truck lot starts buzzing, and a ton of Filipino families show up--which honestly tells you everything you need to know. If the local Filipino community is showing up in droves, you know this place is the real deal. I felt like I had stumbled into a food-filled family reunion, and I was totally here for it. So, if you happen to see Malah Kita is setting up shop nearby, cancel your plans, tell your stomach to prepare itself, and just go. Your taste buds will thank you, your indecisive spouse will thank you, and you might even make some new friends in line. Salamat, Malah Kita. You've ruined other food trucks for me in the best way possible. This is a food
