Came here after a day of hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. Everything we had was so good. I had the bacon jam and Brie burger and it was one of the best burgers I've had. The bacon jam was so fresh and delicious. The shoestring fries are also fantastic. The elk in the elk stew is so tender and flavorful. The corned beef and sauerkraut on the Reuben was also delicious. They are a pricey spot but the quality is great. read more

The cheese board was very very very disappointing. Apples still had seeds, only 2 types of cheeses ( one had no taste) and only oranges and apples for fruit. Not worth $19. We also requested the short rib on a separate plate but apparently no one checked. We were very specific about it being on a separate plate. The food was tasty but way overpriced for what you eat. read more

Food was delish and perfectly prepared. Loved our shishito peppers, Elk stew and Brie Angus burger! No pic of the burger bc I ate 1/2 and who wants to see a pic of a 1/2 eaten burger. Managed to catch a pic of the stew before my husband inhaled it all. His old fashioned was good too! Service was great!! read more

We were out walking the street of Estes park after a long walk around lake Estes. We were totally famished and we were looking for a place where we could eat. It was around 9pm on a Monday in late July. We passed this place and the menu looked like it would satisfy our needs. I ordered the burger and my SO ordered the hangar steak. Long story short we had to send back te hangar steak because it was basically like a rubbery tire and did not taste good at all. The burgers were sloppily made from frozen and even the the burgers were just about eatable and my stomach afterwards didn't feel good at all. Both of us lost appetite after this restaurant and we went back to the hotel still feeling hungry but disgusted by the food... the only reason this establishment is getting a 1 star and not less is the fact that the server was really nice and accommodating and didn't charge us for the hangar steak and gave us another burger instead. However I would not come back to this place. read more

we were a party of 8 and were sat immediately. the food was all very good, highly recommend the cowboy butter steak, whiskey cream steak, and the boys really loved the elk bone-in. the music was a little weird and kind of loud but other than that service was great. read more

This restaurant was a bit of a disappointment. The photos make it look nice but it is a whole in the wall. The drinks were good. The charcuterie board was small and lacking. Our mains were decent. Service was mediocre. It was a little pricey for what we got. Unfortunately, I don't recommend. There are so many other restaurants in Estes Park that are great. read more

We were in Estes Park in late September - looking for a promising lunch in town - which seemed unlikely as a number of places were closed, resulting in the places that were open crowded :( but our timing was perfect - we were greeted and seated quickly in the front area looking out on the people traffic. Service was quick, cheerful, and not overbearing - PERFECT! It was lunch so we went with burgers - dining partner had a Classic Burger - I had the daily special burger... drinks were kept full, food was not delayed, served hot (if you've ready any of my reviews - you know my opinion of food intended to be eaten hot is served cold) - again - Service was on top of everything without being overbearing. Overall - a solid choice and we will definitely repeat! read more

Food was average to below average. Ambiance was poor. It was dark, hot and stuffy inside. Menus were dirty. Needs renovation. The server was nice though. read more

There are a lot of good places to eat in Estes Park, this one is not just good, it is one of the GREAT places. We arrived just before dinner time and were offered the best two seater table in the house, overlooking the street with wide windows that were open to the beautiful Estes Park mountain air. Delicious food, delicious drinks, and the best service. My husband was very very pleased with their whiskey selection, and while we were there they had a great deal with bogo sangria. Cannot recommend this place enough. read more

I had hopes with the online pics and reviews. It was basically a bar. Low quality food and mediocre service. Very disappointing.

Bug in beer, no apology. Santa Fe chicken sandwich dry and lackluster and an absolute rip off for 18 dollars. Fries were good.

Great service had Elk Chops that were fantastic. My brother had Smoked Old Fashioned very nice presentation. The best meal I had in Estes Park read more

Would not recommend. Plenty of better options that will give you a better menu and value. Way to expensive for the size of portions. Paid over $90 for two wraps and a bone in elk chop that was maybe 1/2 inch thick and 3-4 inches across. For the price of it I was expecting something 2-3 times the size. Also had a soapy/chemical taste to the meat. Same for the sauce that was in the wrap. The atmosphere is good and the wait staff was also very good. That is the only reason they aren't getting one star. read more

Waitress was super nice but the food was just okay. I ordered the trout and my husband had the steak. It was all fine; we just wouldn't go back. read more

Excellent choice, the Elk Stew was amazingly authentic homemade comfort food, it warmed my soul. Def coming back!

Such a great family owned place. Our server Nayen was amazing. He recommend great menu items and helped us plan the next few days of our trip. We loved the bison burgers and the (reasonably priced) cocktails. Wish we were locals so we could be regulars! read more

We were pretty much the only people in the restaurant at dinner time. We were seated immediately but the server did not come over until I went up to the bar to ask about a beer. We ordered a burger to share, and after a short time, the server brought a meal but it was not the burger we ordered. She took it back and brought our order a short while later. They should have taken something off of the bill for their error but they didn't. Food was okay. Not a great experience overall. read more

Just horrible. Don't even bother. This is a drinks place. Don't bother with the food. The hangar steak came out a bloody mess on my plate. It was tasty but the bloody plate was disgusting. My friend had vegetarian bowl and he saiid it was just meh. Other member of our group had pasta bowl with salmon. They ruined the salmon. It's as if they boiled it. It had no flavor whatsoever. The salmon should have been grilled or pan fried and then presented on top of the pasta. Instead it tasted as if they boiled the salmon in the pasta water. Horrible. Avoid this place. read more

I want to like it but it's over priced and limited menu. Avocado Hummus was good but not worth the 17 price tag. My Paloma was a 11 drink at best. Feels like they need to lower prices and mix up menu for area. Sure nice. Ok atmosphere. read more

Wife and I just stopped in for a quick snack and cocktail. Guac and chips were excellent with a nice mild salsa. I had a brandy alexander (hot day) and wife had a French gimlet. Dave the bartender was excellent. Careful preparation of our cocktail and perfect taste and presentation. Will be back to try the full menu! read more

Don't mind spending money on a meal and understand that it's a tourist town but the food really wasn't very good especially for the money. Drinks were very good though. And the waitress was great. It's a good location and convenient if you're walking around the shops. read more

We stopped in after hiking and had drinks and appetizers. Food was excellent, the steak on the open bowl burrito was cooked to perfection.

Service was so quick and so kind! Such a cute little place to stop when in town. We got sat immediately with no wait! The menu is huge so there's endless options. Definitely recommend! read more

The ambiance at this place inside or out didn't seem appealing when we stopped for a very late lunch at 4:30 pm after hiking. But the Brie and bacon burger and the Santa Fe chicken sandwich were excellent! Would definitely return. Very good service also. read more

Bison burger was good choice. Good selection of wine and beer. Service was excellent

The food is great! The servers are wonderful and the wines are delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Food was straight up bad and overpriced. The prices are honestly ridiculous. You might think you're getting really good food or a really good drink for that price. You're not. Go elsewhere. read more

Really good food! Service was quick. The atmosphere was upscale and inviting. Local beer to go!

Super fast & friendly service. Very clean & nice energy. Loved all of our food. Would recommend all of it! Got the wings, the jam bacon burger, and bison stew. Beer was super delicious & cold -- we enjoyed the amber. read more

We were a party of five, the server asked if we were ready and took our order. He was not writing anything down and halfway through I could tell he was having issues. He left the table to go put in the order and came back not once.. but twice.. having forgotten parts of our order. They were then out of one of the soups, and then we ordered the clam chowder (my only good part of the meal) and he returned to let us know they only had one left... icing on the cake was when the wings were raw in the center. They brought out a comped chicken soup which was ok but the experience was pretty much ruined at that point. Won't be going back. read more

Food was really good. Had the Brie bacon jam burger which was very tasty. Friend had the ahi tuna poke bowl, said the tuna was very tender and flavorful. But too much arugula and light on the tuna. Other friend had the chicken avacado salad which was very good. Service was quick and friendly although we visited off season on a Monday so it was pretty empty. read more

Overall both the food and the service were good. The menu is unique and could contain a few more traditional items for those less adventurous. Somewhat pricey but not unusual for a tourist spot. The bison burger was cooked properly and delicious. One entree was clearly burned and should have been replaced with one cooked properly. Overall a good experience. read more

It's a new place in Estes. Give it a try! Food was great, beers are local. Octopus dip? Who's ever heard of that? Well it was fantastic!! Highly recommend trying this place. read more

Really, really great restaurant! The bartender made us our go-to favorites, smoked old fashion and a Negroni. He's definitely in our top 10 favorite mixologists. The drinks were amazing, and he made fantastic bourbon recommendations. He was able to tailor our drinks to our preference. Will definitely be back if we come back to Estes Park! To be honest, the other restaurants in the area have been a let down. I'd recommend this place over the Stanley's whiskey bar. The lobster Mac and cheese hit the spot after hiking all day! read more
