Your classic mountain town restaurant. The servers were kind. Food was alright. Really lived the fact that the restaurant was inclusive and hung up 2 pride flags. One big one right outside. We got the bison pasta and NY Strip. The steak was mediocre, chewy and slightly overcooked. The bison was a tad gamey but still good. Still a decent place. You just can't be very choosy when you're up in a mountain town.

We were hesitant to try different foods but so glad we did! The Elk sausage was delicious and the bison meatballs were incredible! The Christmas decor was cozy and inviting, and the live music was nice. Our waitress was attentive and when our meatballs came with onions instead of mushrooms she addressed it quickly. When we were initially referred there we thought it was mainly a bar but it was definitely more. We really enjoyed The Rock Inn!

We decided we needed to try something different based on where we were. The bison meatballs (incredible) and mashed potatoes were outstanding. The elk sausage app was spicy but also outstanding. Service was great. The locals are lucky.

Live music and great food on a beautiful Friday evening in a rustic setting. We sat outside on the enclosed patio. The acoustic music was great, the temperature was perfect for a fun family dinner. They have a variety of options on the menu with some weekly specials and an extensive drink menu. I had the Pineapple Pico Trout. The trout was cooked perfectly, light and flakey. The pico had a bit more kick to it than I expected but it wasn't too much spice (it could be too much for some who don't care for hotter spices). It was on a bed of fresh steamed veggies which were great. I also had a side Caesar salad which was the perfect size and the dressing was creamy with a good about of Parmesan flakes. This is a great spot to celebrate with friends or go on a date. Check it out!

This place is PACKED so it shows how good it is! The staff was friendly and even changed my order when I didn't love what I had ordered. I would come here for drinks next time but look elsewhere for food. Its a fun environment with lots of people and live music.

One of the best places to eat at in Estes Park! We came here for a nice dinner after hiking in the Rocky Mountains and were able to snag a table for two on a Saturday at 7pm. There was live music and the musicians were very good! The interior is like a cabin and adds to the overall aesthetic of the Rock Inn. We tried the trout and stroganoff and were very happy with the meal. All the entrees come with bread and butter which was a highlight because their butter is a cinnamon honey butter! 10/10 butter! The whole service, live music, and great quality of food makes it worth the price.

Service was amazing! Food was just as good. Bison meatballs for me & wife had grain salad with meatball...butter for bread was very good.

No question this place is a local treasure, good food, good service and usually live music on the weekends. My wife really likes this place. My only problem is the entrees are just too expensive. Reasonably priced apps. The bar doesn't have a very wide selection. I really like the apps and pretty good burger. Salmon Salad is good and cooked perfectly. The bacon wrapped dates are fantastic. I wish these guys a much success

They have water bowls handy - apparently it's help yourself!

We tried this restaurant because we were traveling with a pet and they advertised a pet friendly patio. The staff was great at getting us to a table but our waitress seemed too busy for questions about the menu or bringing a water bowl for our dog. She just wanted us to tell her what we wanted to eat and we didn't see much of her during the meal. The food was prepared well. We ordered the rainbow trout and the bison meatballs. There was live music however it was inside. It would have been nice to hear it over speaker or something.

Visited on a Friday night. Busy but we were in within 20 min. Live music and casual atmosphere. Good food with some local game options.

We had an old menu from our Inn and boy has the prices went up. When we got there I found out prime rib was no longer a menu option. Bummer! I had Bison marinara and my wife had fettuccini Alfredo. Excellent flavor and very happy with both!

We were greeted by a really nice blonde girl that showed us our seats. She was down to earth and was just beaming with great vibes. Then we got Matt. As if the experience wasn't already great from hanging out with friends, Matt invited us with an amount of aloha that is only found in Hawaii! We ordered chips and onion dip. The ramekin that the onion dip came with was really small compared to the amount of chips we received. It was delicious! Maybe substitute toasted bread next time? I ordered the poke and that was outstanding! It came with a creamy ginger dip that tied things together. For being landlocked and in the mountains, this is a dish I will remember! Matt also brought out a Hong Kong sriacha that definitely elevated everything. The reggae (music), positive vibes, and down to earth feel was a great way to end our trip before getting back to the grind. What a place! The scenery speaks for itself too and the staff is top notch!

For entrees, we selected carnivore and sweet potato gnocchi. One major thing I liked about their dishes is the variety of vegetables within the soup and entrees. Carnivore had freshly sautéed broccoli, and Gnocchi had zucchini, onions, and cauliflowers. It makes the whole meal feel more healthy and balanced. We finished our meal with lady bird bread pudding. Overall the service was great and welcoming. Highly recommend! PS. They also offer to send out a postcard for you. I enjoyed writing the postcard in the restaurant!

My husband loved and would recommend it. We both grabbed some Parmesan fries and DEVOURED them! Incredible, 10/10. I've had to order from DoorDash numerous times as I have a hard time seeing at night. The first time I ordered from Elevations, I ordered the ribeye mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was delivered hot yummy and I was very impressed. The second time I ordered the same thing, through DoorDash, the steak was completely overcooked so badly so I couldn't even cut it. I had ordered it medium rare. Burnt and dried out was not my expectation. The mashed potatoes were also cold and completely dried out. The asparagus were so hard you could barely cut them. It's not cheap to order from Elevations anyway, even when in person, but I also have to pay a DoorDash fee. DoorDash did refund my money, and I also reached out to the restaurant to voice my concerns and displeasure. I decided to give them another chance, but ordered a salad and Genovese Pasta with chicken in it. Monitoring DoorDash I saw that they got there fairly quickly, so was hopeful that my food would be fresh and good. Unfortunately the pasta Genovese was dried out and cold, the chunks of chicken were cold, and the salad that I had ordered had more red onions than the lettuce itself. This would not have been a problem except I don't eat red onions and on the menu on DoorDash it's simply said "garden salad". There was nothing listed about a choice of dressing, nor was there anything listed as to what ingredients were in the salad which can be a problem if someone has allergies to anything that they place in there. Again this restaurant isn't cheap, and it was a complete letdown with a completely cold meal, and while heating pasta in a microwave might be OK, it dries out the chicken terribly. They say that the third time is a charm, and two out of three times have been awful. Very disappointed in this place. Perhaps eating in the restaurant may be better, but this meal was terrible. No I do not recommend this place.
