Updated review April 2026 We came here on a Saturday night…read more The place was packed and loud. We got seat on the bar tables. We ordered the chicken souvlaki and lamb souvlaki dinners. Both dinners were decent portions and filling. The rice has improved as well. The chicken and rib combo was realy good. Kudos on the kitchen staff for making our dinner enjoyable. I increased my rating from 3 to 4 stars. I recommend this restaurant for delicous pub and bar food. Their menu is diverse and most of the items are a hit.

If I could give a zero, I would!...For starters I ordered an over priced salad ...I didn't think…read moretoo much could go wrong with a salad ...but apparently I was wrong!...The walnuts in the salad were RANCID...I asked for no onions, but somehow ended up with what seemed like EXTRA onion and spent the next 10 minutes picking out all the onion !...The chicken, that I paid an extra $9 extra for, was so dry and overcooked it was pretty much PETRIFIED... .the other parts of our meal were equally as bad....While there I witnesses a server "Tori" (who reminds me of Roz from Monster Inc) SCREAM from across the restaurant at another server while holding 2 glasses of chocolate milk for children above her head (not the only thing we witnessed from her this visit) ... She was completely unhinged and miserable!!! ....So glad she wasn't our server!... We nicknamed her Tyrant Tori, attempting to make light of the situation ...but to be honest, this is NOT the type of atmosphere I want to be in when paying to enjoy a meal out... Unfortunately, we could feel the tension and TOXIC work environment that exists here....I really hope the owners do something about this...but maybe they created the environment.....In summary DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY at this place...McDonald's across the street would be a huge step up!...and that's saying a lot!...

We ordered Angus burger with fries $12.99 and Chicken lettuce wraps $11.99. The burger was thick and juicy. Great tasting burger with nice grilled taste. The fries portion was too small. Perhaps cost cutting since it was in the happ hour menu. The chicken lettuce wraps were top notch excellent flavor profile. I can taste the hoisin sauce and mixture of fried onion rings, peppers, and onions. Great dish, only wish they gave more lettuce. The beers are cheap here however when the server offerred us an upgrade to Devil sized draughts for $1 we were sold on it. Unfortunately, when the bill came we were charged $6.99 per 24oz pint instead of $5. My wife didn't want to complain and paid the bill. This left a bad taste in our mouth no pun intended. Please do not mislead customers on drink upgrades or ensure the accuracy of the order. Overall, the happy hour menu is decent. We will try the $4 sliders, cheesy honey buns, and pickle coins next time. Beware of food and beverage upgrades and check your bill before paying. I hope the service and food portions improve next time. It will be a while before I come back! This was our most recent visit to St Louis bar & grill. I ordered my usual Lemon Pepper dry rubbed wings, with fries. It was a good portion, with crispy fries but the wings appeared really dark and a bit burnt. Maybe stale oil? It was hard for me to tell since my tastebuds are still compromised. I'll have to try again when I'm better.

Your first order is 6 wings after that you get 4 and it's annoying waiting between orders. It's what you expect from a Bar...greasy fries, old washrooms, and a big TV over the bar. A decent spot, but not worth getting excited over. Beware though..it's not free refills. I paid over 9$ for name brand coke.... Overall 2 of 5

I had seen tons of signs around the local area promoting the "all you can eat wings."…read moreI thought it was a great concept, I just never took the time to go check it out. One night the guys from work and I decided we would go for a beer & wings. $13 for the all you can eat wings, and we split a pitcher. You pick your sauce and you start with 6 wings...........then slowly......... yep........ slowly they bring you refills of 4. They make you wait. No doubt part of the strategy, I assume they hope you get full waiting. Perhaps they think it will reduce waste. During our visit we got full while waiting and two us wasted 3 of the 4 wings each. I think this is such a stupid practice. (A) I'd never suggest anyone check it out! So no good word of mouth coming from me (or anyone in my group). (B) I'd certainly not rush to go back here, not now, possibly not ever. During our visit I asked the lady if we could double our order, I let her know I'd eat over 10 wings easily. I was told, "no, other people are waiting." Like you cant drop more in the fryer ? The kicker, the place had two other tables of apx 3 people per table. So 9 people including my group. But again, this is what they make you do. Slow service hoping you get full. I guess they want your $13 and no repeat business. Bar is dated and old looking, as I would suspect. Bathrooms were AWFUL. To be fair I should add, the wings were decent in size. The sauces are just your local grocery store sauces. The wings are all cooked the same, then sauced in your pick. We tried the HOT - it was dusted with some odd spice, not good. The Bufalo wings we ok. The sweet chili reminds me of the PC sauce I buy from no frills, and the parm/garlic were decent. All in all I would not go back. The expericne does not warrant another visit. The way in which they serve the customers is just off putting.

Menu is a tad over priced, but I can't deny it tastes good. Not overly salty or oily as bar food often is, and I actually really enjoyed their pasta. It's definitely a great place to go for a bit of a splurgy night with friends where you're prepared to pay $20-40 per person. I like it for a date night to have some heavier foods that I wouldn't want to try cooking at home. The short rib pappardelle was the best. I love the flavour and it's not too crazy heavy, even though it looks really creamy. It has very beef stew type vibes. The chicken wings were well cooked and still moist. I think it was too much flavour going on though. You LOVE the first and even second wing. But by the third one, I felt like it was getting too heavy. I know though that a lot of people love that and can't get enough of it. I personally don't like too much of any one thing. The brussel sprouts I felt the same. It's really yum for the first few bites but it gets really heavy after a while. I think it's really fun to have the appetizers and share a main with someone. The foods are a bit heavier, more of a flavour bomb, but everything is executed well and the staff are really nice! We've even done take out and the portions were very much the same.

It's located in a plaza next to Rexall, anchored by a Food Basics. I headed eastbound along Steeles Avenue East, which becomes Taunton Road. I then turned right on Westney Road North, eventually making a left into this plaza. There was plenty of parking when I arrived. I backed into a spot and walked in. We reserved a couple of tables. We were ready to eat! We got there just before 4 pm. Our friendly server advised that its new pub menu was available for us to order from, as well as its main menu. It's a Caribbean restaurant that puts an island twist on many items. There are also non-Caribbean food if you're not feeling like having spiced-up items. From the pub menu, we got these items: - Loaded crunch burger - Mushroom madness burger - Greek salad - Beef nachos - Jerk chicken poutine - Jerk quesadilla We ordered these items from the main menu: - Special chicken lo mein - Spicy pepper shrimp - Honey garlic beef short ribs - Szechwan tofu with rice We started off with drinks. I ended up with a Hibiscus fruit mocktail. I couldn't tell you what was in it, but it was cold and delicious. Our table also got colourful drinks, including a mojito. We also got a pitcher of icy water. I went up to the bar to get a refill roughly halfway through our meal. The female staffer was so nice. She brought the refill to our table and even topped up our glasses. The food was excellent. I sadly couldn't fit the burgers in my system. They looked amazing. I love mushrooms, so I was especially sad that I didn't get to try the mushroom madness burger. Both burgers that we ordered came with fries. It seemed weird to order a Greek salad from a Caribbean place. Hey, we got to get some greens in. I was impressed at how much feta we got. I enjoyed this salad. The lettuce and onions were crisp. The latter didn't have that raw, burning taste to them. The dressing was delicious. The beef nachos were amazing. The beef had big, bold, beefy flavour. The melty cheese was great with the sour cream and crunchy nacho chips. I normally don't like sour cream, but this place didn't overdo it. I liked the lighter-handed approach. The jerk poutine was amazing. It had the best seasoned jerk chicken morsels with crispy fries, a decent gravy, and cheese curds. The jerk quesadilla stole my heart. The cheese pull didn't seem to want to stop. It was the same flavourful jerk chicken. It was delicious. The mains were equally as good as the pub items! The special chicken lo mein was indeed special. The lo mein was chewy and yummy. The sauce was on the saltier side, but it wasn't horrible. I liked the veggies, especially the baby corn. It had tender chicken morsels mixed in. On top of everything was even more roasted chicken. Wow! Everything was delicious, including the chicken on top. The spicy pepper shrimp were incredible. If you like spicy deliciousness, get the shrimp. They were perfectly cooked and yummy. The honey garlic beef short ribs were scrumptious. The sauce had the best mix of honey with garlic. The ribs were tender. I loved the red and green peppers. Yum! The szechuan tofu was a nice alternative to meat. The flavours were bold and perfect. I loved the cubed tofu. I actually brought this dish home with a mound of steamed rice. This eatery has a lot of seating. The bar is gorgeous. There's a huge screen for sports games there. You can also watch games anywhere in this restaurant as there are screens everywhere. If you do want a change of pace, there's a pool table near the entrance. I used the washroom before leaving and heading home. The women's was clean. This eatery has lunch and student specials. I'd like to try the former items one of these days. I had a great time with friends here over yummy drinks and food. I can't wait to return for more. (285)
