I've been to Elevate a few times over the years and some how haven't updated my latest reviews u til today. This weeks visit was excellent. It was very busy since it's right before the holidays, but they were moving at lightning speed and I had my latte and breakfast sandwich quickly. Luckily I was able to find a small table out of the way to wait for my order. I got lucky because soon after ordering the line of people got even longer. They had a sign up with some seasonal drinks so I decided to go away from my usual drink and ordered a snickerdoodle latte as well as a breakfast bagel in a everything bagel with ham, egg and cheese. Service was friendly and patient with my few questions. The location was clean and lots of seating inside and out. They even have a rentable office space. My latte was delicious and has the perfect sweetness. My bagel was tasty. Great stop. read more

Sandwiches and coffee are solid with lots of outdoor seating. Can be a little crowded and loud given its proximity to the movie theater and shopping center but it's not bad! read more

I have tried so hard to like this place. However, I can't seem to enjoy any of the drinks. All of the coffee shots are extremely bitter and acidic. It ruins the coffee, won't be returning. Coffee is absolutely delicious, the lavender iced latter is great! I've been here twice now and keep coming back because the coffee is great, as far as food goes it's a coffee shop so the menu is limited and food doesn't taste that great in my opinion. The service is always great though, outstanding customer service every single time! And the place is clean and very chill. I feel like they should move tables around and rearrange a little and remodel idk it has so much potential and it's lacking something. As a coffee lover, and coming back from Europe, I was wandering for a good coffee spot to get the same quality and taste or, at least, closer to what I had in Europe. This spot in Norterra has been on my radar for quite some time, and recently got a chance to visit. Loved the ambiance, very spacious and it has a cool vibe altogether. It is a lovely spot to relax and catch up with friends or colleagues. One of their entrances was blocked for their corporate meeting, but that didn't bother me at all as the staff was so polite and friendly. I had a cappuccino, and my daughter ordered a frappuccino. We were a bit disappointed as it didn't meet our expectations. It was decent, but nothing extraordinary. I paired it with their coffee cake, which was yummy! I constantly see this as one of the most loved coffee spots in the area, and I was wondering how? Maybe we visited on an off day and perhaps we will have a better coffee experience next time! read more

I waited about 12 minutes for a simple vanilla frappe, even though it was slow and I was the only customer waiting. During that time, there was a large group of employees behind the counter talking, chatting, eating in and out of the work area, and taking videos. It was frustrating to stand there waiting while the staff appeared more focused on socializing than helping customers. Professionalism and attention to customers should always come first. I hope management addresses this so future visits are smoother and more efficient. read more

Service poor Lazy If you give me a number to take to my table to bring the food it's customary and expected that entire order be brought out not leave my coffee at the bar. No name announcement. No one else in here. Even after giving a 20% tip at POS that stupid machine say "whoa" on the screen if you select that tip level. I don't care what you say is customary to leave coffee at the bar.... Bring your lazy ass around the corner and deliver the drink with my food otherwise don't give me a number to put on my table. Stopped in with my daughter while Christmas shopping for our rare treat. I've always loved this place. We ordered a small hot coco and a small peppermint mocha. When I received my coffee it was half full in the cup, all foam. Not enough liquid to even touch the whip she put into the lid. I've ordered the same thing for years and never had I ever received a small cup of coffee that didn't fill the cup. I asked the girl if she could remake it and it came out worse than the first one. The coffee isn't cheap and it sucked to buy a coffee that ended up in the trash. My daughter's drink was fine, filled the cup. read more

Elevate Coffee is really close to where I was staying upon moving to town, made several yelp Phoenix collections, and throw in 50% off drinks for their birthday week...needless to say I was stoked to try it! Seating was full of people studying, reading, hanging out on their computers, etc. has a chill vibe with background noise aka not super distracting. However, the place isn't very clean and has lots of flies, the staff member at the register was not friendly or helpful, the and the veggie crepe was essentially raw with microwaved spinach (crunchy), mushrooms (dry and shriveled), chicken (added), and giant red onion chunks, and the flavored syrups in the iced caramel butterscotch latte were not dissolved at all. Okay so I actually never leave comments because I hate to be that person, but I really felt like this place didn't live up to the reviews at all. People are nice, but the atmosphere feels like you're in a church basement, the matcha was SO BAD, so sweet and didn't even taste like matcha. I asked them to remake a different drink and they ACTUALLY made me pay for it. They took a dollar off the lemonade i asked for as the remake but like ???? Then the avocado toast I ordered was fine but there was regular honey on it (???), and the bread was CHEWY and hurt my jaw to eat . Overall I don't know if I just got the wrong things or what but usually matcha and avo toast is pretty standard? read more

I saw the caramel butterscotch latte on the fall menu and just had to have it!! It was pretty decent, but a touch bitter even with all that caramel. Not sure what that was about. My husband got the iced mocha and his was really good. They have quite a few gluten free / allergy free bakery items, so that was impressive. The pumpkin muffin was pretty good, but still was quite cold. An offer to warm it up would have been nice. (didn't realize until we left that it was cold). The lemon crepe with whipped cream was delicious and I could have eaten a few more! We were lucky and got there when there was no line! I'll be back to try more crepes for sure! read more

Elevate is tucked in the shopping center near the movie theater. They have your standard coffee and tea options with some seasonal options. I got the maple chai and got it dirty. I like that they have non-dairy options. They also have some breakfast options from sandwiches, burritos, to crepes. We were there really early and service was quick. Staff was friendly. read more

Ordered a dirty chai latte and banana honey almond crêpe. The latte was delicious, but it is a little expensive. Their coffee beans are very reasonably priced though! When I am traveling for work I try to hit the local coffee shops instead of the chain coffee shops. As far as coffee shops go this one has a great ambiance and was very packed for 10:30 am. Does anyone work anymore? I asked for a Cappuccino with oat milk, they proceeded to tell me , no you want a latte so basically telling me I didn't know what I was talking about since their non dairy milk doesn't foam up. At that point I was like okay sure I don't know what the heck I am asking for whatever I will take a vanilla latte! Lol there is a difference regardless of the milk or non milk you use. "A traditional cappuccino has an even distribution of espresso, steamed milk, and foam milk. A latte has more steamed milk and a light layer of foam. A cappuccino is distinctly layered, while in latte the espresso and steamed milk are mixed together." The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf So happy barista there is a Difference and regardless if the milk or oat milk or almond milk doesn't foam I asked for a cappuccino not a latte. Okay nice rant- the latte was very good! Not too sweet and the coffee was smooth and not bitter. A great vibe, incredibly good coffee, plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, free wifi and awesome interior. It says everything about this place. Visit once and you are gonna stop going to Starbucks. Coffee tasted great. I tried double espresso shot and my wife took latte. Both tasted too good. They have plenty of things to eat too. We tried lemon cake and it was good. Very reasonably priced. Great selection of drinks and coffee in menu. They have booth, a hideaway sofa seatings, and even a separate room for meetings and conferences. Staff was super nice too. Wasn't expecting such tasty food from a coffee shop! My husband and I have been craving a good breakfast but I'm a vegetarian and I also can't really have eggs so breakfast can be a challenge for me. I ended up getting the veggie crepes which were absolutely amazing. I loved the feta in it! I got watermelon mint cucumber refresher, it was just a tad too sweet for me. My husband got a caramel macchiato. We shared a butter croissant which was perfectly flaky and delicious! My husband got a breakfast sandwich with extra bacon and no ham, he said it was really good. We also got a brownie and rice krispie treat to bring home. I've only tried the brownie but it was perfect, had chocolate chips inside! It was way less busy here on an early Sunday afternoon than any other norterra restaurant we saw so we def made the right choice. I plan to come back again! read more

Great caramel macchiato with oat milk. Also great food. Breakfast sandwich was delicious!!! Love the cheese sandwich combo with jam. So good. Harvest quinoa saute (with blueberry slaw) was also delicious and very warm and healthy. I never had blueberry slaw before, but it was good, and I enjoyed the light sweetness of blueberries in the slaw. The cafe is very spacious, with lots of seating and great fast wifi! Plenty of outlets too. A truly excellent place for working/studying, and clearly, other people think so too because it was packed on a Wednesday. read more

Probably my favorite coffee shop in the greater Phoenix metro area when it comes to finding a place to have an informal meeting, catch up with friends or just get some work done. Coffee is decent , lots of food options if you're staying for a bit and plentiful seating inside and out. Wi-Fi is decent and reliable. Not loving the coffee spots in Surprise... I'm looking at you, Scooters... so we decided to make the drive up to Elevate for their Pumpkin Pie Latte and a muffin... so good. LuckILY for us, the freeway was closed and all traffic was diverted to side streets, which was a whole lot like the "end of the world" movies, where the only way you can get somewhere in a hurry would be to jump out and run. Love the size of this place. So spacious and the smell of coffee is so refreshing. The food menu has so many options that it's hard to only come there for coffee or tea. The staff are always very friendly and they really seem to enjoy what they do. I usually go for the tea and the breakfast burrito is excellent. Typically long lines, we didn't download the app but people who did seemed to have a quicker experience by ordering ahead. Nice ambiance but with it being so busy it does get a little loud. read more
