Not busy. Plentiful of seating space. Healthy food options. Decently priced these days. The Baja blast burger was alright and the sweet potato fries. Tried their new strawberry matcha and it was good too. Overall good place for healthier food options.

Yes, please. Elephant + Vine is a vegan paradise. They use soy in their fake meats and milkshakes, but allergy friends, don't worry. The black bean burger is a great option and they use canola oil for fries and tots. I had to have this Door Dashed and my driver was double dipping and dropping people off (I watched him through the window for 20 minutes driving around, etc.) so the food was a little cold, but still very worth it. I got the elephant burger with the black bean patty. My non-vegan friend described it as Thanksgiving dinner - good like stuffing. The sweet potato fries and tots were good - make sure you order sauce. It is a must for anyone in town. And thanks to the staff for answering all my questions!

On a cold and blistery day I discovered this hidden gem when scoping out vegetarian places near one of the hospitals I work at. I stumbled upon this suggestion (via yelp!) and decided to place a pick up order. I went with one Ele Impossible burger, one Ele Black Bean burger, "Cauliflower Wings" with half buffalo and half sweet chili sauce, and topped everything off wiith an order of sweet potato fries. The pick up process could have been a bit easier, as they are located at a busy intersection near Lincoln, Fullerton, and Halsted. However, it wasn't until I had already street parked that I discovered they validate the garage across the street. Oh well. Out of this entire medley of veggie goodness, I fell hard for the cauliflower with sweet chili. It had a distinguishing sweetness, but with a spicy kick. The buffalo choice wasn't the tastiest, but tasty enough. The sweet potato fries were hot and delicious with a home-made taste. I actually enjoyed dipping them into the ranch that was provided with the cauliflower wings. The Impossible was on the smaller side, and there is a notable difference when comparing it to the black bean one. However, I still preferred that over their home-made black bean burger. It wasn't that it wasn't good, it was just a bit bland for my liking. I did enjoy this place so much that I did return when I went back to work into the city a week or two later. Decent vegetarian food at an albeit higher cost can sometimes be worth it. Try it out!

We had the EleBurger with Cheese and Sweet potato fries as well as the cauli wings sweet Thai and buffalo flavors. The impossible burger was well seasoned and flavorful. The cauli wings were crispy and delicious. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and menu. The restaurant was very clean and quiet. This is a place that families and friends can visit without feeling like you're in a fast food restaurant. To drink I had the lemonade with lemon and turmeric - very refreshing. I will definitely be back.

Elephant + Vine is truly vegan comfort food at its best and at amazingly affordable prices as well. My small group came here for lunch on a weekday and had a great time. Their menu consists of burgers, salads, wraps, shakes, and more. I was very interested in trying out their Buffalo Chik'n and Korean BBQ Chik'n Burgers ($12 each) since I am still on the search for the best of the best. Both of the sandwiches were delicious with the buffalo being the standout. We also tried their Cauliflower Wings ($9) which resembled little nuggets that can be dipped in a sweet chili sauce. The batter was not heavy at all and it tasted great with the burgers. Their milkshakes were also fantastic. I had the Sea Salt Caramel Shake and that is one to satisfy anyone's sweet tooth. It took me a few hours to actually finish it since it was quite thick, but it definitely made it worthwhile. Would absolutely come back here again the next time I'm in Chicago if I'm feeling for some junky vegan food.

Easy to see menu that is all plant based. Lots of options. The buffalo cauliflower-wings were labeled mild, but seemed a little more toward medium. The fries are perfectly salted and all the food was fresh and came out quickly. The Baja burger and chik'un Korean BBQ were delicious. Nice options for beverages from bottomless Chicago Root Beer To fountain drinks. All our good send out quick and was fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions, it did not feel like fast food. Inside the restaurant was bright and patio seating during warm months, everything seemed clean, even the restrooms. Which they can be locked, but vacant, they will unlock them if you ask.

AVOID! I have gone in store three times and two were a bad experience, the other was still below average. For starters, this is a place where they strongly push for self ordering at a kiosk, but still ask for a tip when you pay. Two out of the three times I've encountered rude staff (the same person each time), I suspect it was either a manager or owner. The items on the menu are overpriced for what you get + long wait times. As other reviews say, beware of smaller portions if you order through a delivery service vs direct. Shady business practice. The taste of the food is not bad, but I've certainly had better. It's generally empty inside the restaurant, just lots of plants for company. The shake pictured was my favorite item for but I won't be returning or ordering delivery anymore for reasons shared above.

Food came cold and tasted like it sat on the line at the kitchen for 20 mins+. Overpriced and not recommended.

Another great experience and Bloom. Love this plant based restaurant offering creative menu items…read morethat anyone can enjoy! The inside of the restaurant is designed very elegantly & the staff is superb! All the dishes we tried were great, from thr hand rolls to the gnocchi. Recommend a stop here even if your primary diet isn't vegan you will not be disappointed. Pro Tip: try the desserts as well while visiting. Also very creative and satisfying!

I'm giving Bloom 4 stars instead of 3 because they are a plant-based restaurant; however, I have…read moredined here several times and there have been short comings of one kind or another on the past few occasions - either food expectations or service seem to fall short of a high-priced restaurant experience. My main grudge on this night was the pour of sparkling wine (brut). Champagne flutes are typically six ounces. A standard pour of wine is five ounces. That means a pour of sparkling wine should stop about 1 inch from the rim of the glass*. Not so this time. I thought the bartender had emptied the bottle and was going to continue his pour with a new bottle, but no - that was not the case (I was seated at the bar.) I had gotten only about 3 out of 5 ounces of a $16 glass of wine. Not cool since every patron is charged an automatic 20% hospitality surcharge per check. (It looked more like a pour for a toast at a wedding!) Other than this major lapse in bartending etiquette - and yes, I considered saying something at the time but did not, hence, this review - my meal was fine (with the exception of the onion tart - not what I expected an onion tart to be: go with the crab cake!). *Note: I have worked part-time in F&B from 1994 to 2024 in all manner of restaurants/catering/country clubs, etc., including as a BASSET certified bartender, so I know what a pour of wine should be (and look like) in a standard champagne flute!

Delicious casual vegan meal. Had a short few hours in Chicago and came here for dinner. Wife and I…read moreeach got an appetizer-I got their buffalo drum sticks which were somehow gluten free and delicious. For my entree, I got the bimbibab or however you spell it, with tofu. Would have liked a meat alternative but other than those drumsticks, which are brought in frozen and premade and therefore, the "meat" cannot be used in an entree-only the tofu was gluten free. Although I mixed in tamari and sirahcha, this was delicious. The hot pit crisped the rice perfectly and the veggies and tofu were cooked really well. We also got their raw berry cheese cake and a scoop of soy vanilla ice cream for dessert. The crust of the cheesecake wasn't really good but everything else was excellent. Service was great with a lot of good suggestions and he was very friendly. The place isn't much to describe. Just a very casual interior with an Alice in wonderland motif. Cute, but not a place you come for the ambiance. You come for the food and service.

Where do I even start! I wish I lived here because I would come all the time…read more When we walked in we were the only people there which at first worried us but it ended up being the best dinner of our vacation. The food was amazing. We got the "frychos" which were like loaded fries and it was the probably one of the most flavorful and fun vegan dishes I've ever had. Ofc we also had to get the vegan deep dish and it was also really good. Since we were the only ones there we chatted quite a bit with the bartender and he was super friendly. We ended up putting a movie on the bar tv and watching that while we ate. They also had boardgames and free pinball and we played battleship while waiting for our pizza. If you have the chance to check this place out, you definitely should!! The bartender said they were usually busier because it's also a concert venue, but it was a nice day so we think people were going places they could eat outside. But quiet or hoppin this place would be an 11/10! :)

I got a beer, Maplewood IPA, and vegan nachos with "beef". They were very wet, they also had mixed greens on top which were nice but weird. For my main meal I got a fried chicken sandwich which had tempeh as the protein. It was very thick and dense but tasty. It came with French fries. My partner got a sour beer, and a chicken parm sandwich with French fries. He reported his was also very thick / dense.
