I would say they have good burgers, it's not salty at all and filled with so much flavors and it's really big if you get a double. There are SO many fried chicken places in Chicago at the moment, it can be hard to keep up. However if you only go to one place, I would suggest going to Tso Good. I've gotten food twice from here now - the first time I ordered the K-Seoul chicken sandwich which came covered in spicy k-seoul sauce, topped with smoked gouda, kimchi, cucumber ribbons, picked veggies, Japanese mayo and sesame seeds. This may have been the best chicken sandwich I've ever had! The chicken is massive, fried to perfection, and the flavors are just exceptional. Yesterday I went back to try their wraps- and I ended up with the Tso Good Wrap with crispy chicken, and the Chicken Caesar with grilled chicken. These things are still HUGE - I was picturing like a snack-wrap size, instead each one was like it's own burrito. The cost is so so worth it to me, I ended up getting two meals out of it. Had to update my review to rave about their homemade chicken nuggets! I have never been to a restaurant before that made their own (actual nuggets, not just chunks of chicken) usually they're mass produced. They have a light crispy coating and are GINORMOUS. Like imagine a Wendy's nugget but twice as thick, and also better. I get a meal and upgrade to 10 piece nuggets and the fry serving is so large I put half of the nuggets and fries in the fridge for lunch the next day and the meal is only like $12. I attended the yelp elite experience at Tso Good. They offer korean style , hamburgers and chicken sandwiches I ordered the Roadhouse Double Cheeseburger. It consists of 2 quarter-pound grass-fed beef patties, American cheese, pickles, ketchup, and mustard on a buttered brioche bun. It came with shoestring fries and a sparkling lemonade. The burger was a huge Smashburger. In fact, it spilled over the bun on all sides. It was very flavorful, juicy, packed with delicious toppings, and a complete mess to eat. All of the ingredients made my chicken sandwich deliciously complicated. So much so, that I had no idea what I was eating but I enjoyed it immensely. I revisited Tso Good and got a chicken wrap and chicken nuggets and this time the experience wasn't as good as the first time. The service was ok- very straight forward. The nuggets were on a dry side but still crispy and plentiful. I was really enjoying the chicken wrap until I got to the mushy part and it looked undercooked in the middle. Tso Good is a cute little counter service sandwich shop. The interior is nicely decorated but there are only a couple tables. Service was super friendly and helped us navigate the menu. Despite ordering in, they served our food wrapped in bags as if we were taking it to go, which seemed like a waste of packaging that just got thrown into a landfill. The sandwich came with disposable gloves as it was apparently messy, which I also found to be a little odd? The chicken is definitely hand battered, and super crispy. So cafe flamingo is now Tso Good which I think is a good move. This fills an odd niche in the area that I do think is needed: really good Asian chicken (and other) sandwhiches at a very fair price. So to that point my entire meal was $13. Like WHATTTT??? I felt like I had to tip because these prices were so good I got an entire meal, a hefty sandwich, bubble tea, and fries. So I got a brown sugar milk tea, tso good chicken sandwich, and fries. I thought the milk tea came with boba, but it doesn't which is fine because it's included with the meal. The sandwich unfortunately did not hit for me. I'm not a big buffalo sauce person and there is a decent amount of that being used in the sauce. It adds heat more so than the vinegar flavor but it is noted. The sandwich is also spicier than I anticipated so I took it home and digging into the flavor profile there is a good garlic/umami/soy thing going on but the buffalo base is not it unfortunately. I also think that the sauce itself is too spicy for me. I think it's a great concept and they have a big menu so maybe it was just this flavor so I am hoping to be back and have something that better fits my taste profile. Surprising find that has affordable teas but also delicious smoothies. They have a Lychee-Watermelon smoothie that was delicious, albeit a bit icy.
