They don't pile the fish on like they used to and the fish was substandard. The filets lacked heft and tasted bland. Tartar sauce leaned sweet versus tangy. The fries that came with it were dry and flavorless. As lunch hour approached people trickled in ordering mainly salads. I've been told the salad bar is extensive and supposedly pretty good. First, the service was excellent. Our server, Shimashi, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. She made us feel comfortable and really added to the experience. Service gets a BIG thumbs-up from me. My complimentary items through the Yelp event were the Wake 'n Bacon Burger (without bacon) with tater tots and an espresso martini made with tequila. I added a little raw sugar and creamer, and it perked me right up. I also purchased the Elderberry Lavender Spritz, and THAT was absolutely delicious. I used it as a mixer and added tequila. Perfect!
