Portions were big. The chicken in my grilled chicken super burrito was completely unseasoned, hard on the outside, and very dry. The burrito comes with mild tomatillo salsa, so I asked for hot salsa on the side. I'm so glad the woman who brought out the order also added the house salsa, because the hot salsa smelled more like chemicals than food and tasted so bad I didn't even put it on my burrito. The woman taking my order asked, with a suggestive look, "Do you want the hot salsa on the side?" I was taking it to go and driving, so I said, "Nope." NICE! If only they delivered! The Indian tacos are perfect with fresh fry bread. There is a selection of chicken, pulled pork or ground beef. Toppings are cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, whole beans, guacamole and sour cream! I'm sure you can request onions and keep the Tapatío handy. Available Friday's only, 4-7PM. I made my order today and with it being a rush the employees looked nervous confused and rude it took me 15 minutes just to get noticed then after that my order was taken so i waited for 30 plus minutes while people after me recieved their food while I just sit waiting patiently and when I asked about my food all the employees just threw up their hands and deferred their frustrations on me as if I asked for the food to be late and have me wait an extended time. The owner and the shift manager were extremely rude refusing to take any responsibility for their dropping the ball on my order. I walk in, was greeted by the friendliest staff, sat down, ordered a glass of horchata... and it was at that point I believed that I had died and gone to heaven. Actually, I can't remember if that was before or after I had their DELICIOUS chips and salsa. THEN. I ordered the carne asada burrito. STOP. IT. Found this place driving through for a meeting. They are busy at lunch, but they sat me with some nice local ladies that were waiting for their take out order. I wasn't sure what to eat and wasn't really in the mood for Mexican but decided to try it because of the reviews and the fact they accept Amex. They don't have coke as a fountain drink but they do carry the Mexican coke bottles. They were sold out so I had a Fanta instead. The service is very friendly and you can tell it's a small family business because the kids were there and they sang happy birthday to the dish washer boy which I thought was super sweet. I was the only customer there and it was close to closing The food was actually really tasty The cheviche shrimp tostada was really good and huge the tacos were also delicious. I had carne asada and pastor they come with the salsa and cilantro and onion already on them. Not spicy, but good flavor the guacamole was really good too. It was all very fresh and well made, they offered me some cake since I was there which I thought was nice. For what I order compare to price I would say I got more food than other places and it tasted much better. I hope they continue to grow and continue to offer good food and service. Went to Elenitas for the 2nd time today. We had a Nacho dish that is off menu with Al Pastor meat choice. The presentation alone for nachos was very nice. So much good stuff on this dish. First of all, do not go here if you want a quick bite. The workers take their sweet time to cook and are not organized at all. They told me that my food was being cooked but 20 minutes later they figure out my food has been sitting their the whole time I was waiting. Not sure how much knowledge you need to know to make food and give it to the right customer but these people who work here obviously need more basic training.
