The worst experience at a taco truck I have ever experienced! not only did it take a unreasonable amount of time to receive my food but the food was not only dry but cold and poorly made. I had gotten five carne Asada tacos that had absolutely no flavor but was also cold. I had also gotten Carne Asada nachos with a little extra sour creme. when I opened the nachos the entire plate was SMOTHERED in sour cream to the point you couldn't see anything else but the sour creme. The cheese was cold and the meet was extremely dry and also cold. zero flavor but to be honest I couldn't tell the difference between the sour creme and the chip because of how soggy the chips were. obviously i went back to request a remake because it was absolutely ridiculous. when i had asked for them to remake it because not only was it cold but abused with sour creme. they told me i was wasting it and that they weren't going to remake it unless i gave them more money and then proceeded to argue with me and tell me they weren't the ones that asked for "extra sour cream" and that I should've ordered it with out sour cream then told me to leave because they were busy. no one was in line. they were so unprofessional and honestly extremely rude. will never go back. live down the street as well so there's no reason anything should've been cold. read more

BEWARE! Only accepts cash and venmo I had a very sticky situation where all I had were apple pay and debit card. Luckily my friend was there and he had cash Onto the food Taco Tuesday: its soft shell tacos. I felt the meat were a little dry but besides that, its no different than other soft shell tacos. Im not a fan of soft shell tacos. Its dry but To be fair i bought it at like 5pm so maybe it was getting late. The plate came with a tin foil wrapped on top that was nice. Also, both lime slices were super dry, nothing came out when I squeezed them. Extra The truck does have some tables next to it Im not used to reviewing food trucks. I call it the taco truck because I can't pronounce El Paisa correctly. It's in a convenient location and has authentic Mexican food for a great price. A regular burrito or torta, which is one of my favorites, is only $4. A bigger loaded up burrito supreme is $4.50. Tacos are only a dollar too. The owners are super nice and will treat you well. It gets a little hectic customer wise sometimes but if you go on the off hours it's great. My buddy loves the $4 nachos and was craving them, when we went back home for the Summer, he said the first thing he wants to do when we get back to Chico is to get some nachos from the taco truck. Definitely, it is worth a shot and it might not be for everyone but I enjoy the food and you can't beat the price. read more

The burrito had more flavors than a can of Dr. Pepper and was more fulfilling than any man I will ever meet. The birth of my first-born child won't amount to that moment. They actually have two trucks. The other one is located on the Esplanade right past Eaton on the right. They are fairly similar but this location has a little more to offer. This is without a doubt my favorite place for tacos in town. Their pork and chicken tacos are phenomenal and surpass anything else you can get for a dollar in town. The family who runs this place has always been very sweet and professional in running this establishment. As A Chico State student I gotta say this is my go to place for a quick food run when I have an hour window of free time.
