We had a hot water tank leak in our condo, which made quite a mess with our new flooring. They came out right away helped move things, so they could pull up the flooring. They did all the communication on their end with our insurance company and provided the info to get us set up in a hotel, movers to pack and move out a bunch of our stuff. I'm going to save you the time of describing my entire experience with Elements Restoration and break things down into pros and cons. I'll start with pros because there's not many. Bare with me, you'll want to read this all. PROS: -Communicated well with my insurance company, and negotiated prices amazingly. Also followed all "guidelines" insurance has in place. -Karl & Gabriel are amazing. They're very professional, knowledgeable about their work, and respectful. Any questions or concerns I had, they answered and gave me their best advice on, to guide me through the process. I could talk on and on about them, because that's how much I respect them. Their work came out BEAUTIFULLY. I'd rehire them again. -Andrew was also a pleasure to work with! Also very smart, and professional! He does the demo and does it pretty fast! Only con with Andrew is when he ripped up my flooring, he left nails, one of which I stepped on. I knew they were there too because I overheard him speaking to someone else that "Prepping the floor is part of Karl's job". I tried my best to avoid them, but didn't work. I kept my toddler and both my dogs upstairs as much as I could until Karl came and saved the day. To me, prepping the floor (or at least removing nails) should be done as part of demo, considering Karl doesn't come until the next day or two after Andrew is done. Leaving nails in your floor for a day or two. But that's just my two cents. CONS: -The biggest con on my project was the fact that whoever initially measured my kitchen, did it 4 inches off. Everything was off because of that. Apparently this person is no longer with the company though. I had to wait 4ish weeks for my cabinets to arrive, (not their fault) and on top of the wait, whoever ordered them (Sarah) thought that they'd come assembled. Took them about a week to assemble, then they realized everything was off and had to return, and reorder a handful of them.... resulting in another couple week wait. But wait, theres more. Whoever ordered (Sarah) the second round of them, ordered the wrong ones again. This time just error on their behalf, because Karl remeasured everything prior to them ordering them. I had to wait ANOTHER couple weeks. On top of all those errors, there were additional errors of forgotten items. Toe kicks, cabinet trim etc. ‍ again. More waiting. -Communication to me. Horrible. Initially, it was good. Then their communication slowly got worse and worse. There would be days where I wasn't sure if they were coming the next day or not. It worked for us because I'm a stay at home mom, but if you worked... Good luck. Then their communication got better and they gave me set days they were coming in advance. When the project started I had tons of questions. Getting ahold of anyone over the phone to answer them was impossible. It seemed as though whoever could answer your question was always "out in the field" or "out of office". -They tried to have Sarah (front office) do my backsplash. I immediately shut that down. My insurance paid for a professional tiler to be doing the work, and that's exactly what I expected. Their excuse was that the tiler they had was no longer with the company and that Sarah has been doing the tiling for several months.... Okay? That doesn't change the fact she's not a professional. Not a good look for the company in my opinion. ALSO, if Sarah is "out in the field" doing all these tiling jobs, and making a ton of errors on ordering, weather it be her directly ordering or leaving poor notes for whoever else to order, shouldn't that be a red flag that she has too much going on? -The final invoice was incorrect. They included work on there they they did not perform. Read through your invoices VERRY carefully before you pay. I caught several hundred dollars of work they charged me for, but did not do. One of them being dismount and remount washer and dryer..... When they didn't even go near my actual laundry room. They also blamed this on the person who is no longer with the company. Convenient, huh? All in all, was my restoration done? Yes. Does it look amazing? YES! Did it take 6 LONG months? Yes! Would I use elements again? Absolutely not. Use them at your own risk. read more

Absolutely the worst company I have ever worked with in my life. I was referred to them by Bob Larson Plumbing, and, because I was happy with the work done by Bob Larson Plumbing, I trusted that they would be good. HUGE mistake on my part. Our upstairs toilet leaked so the downstairs ceiling needed to be repaired. The job they did repairing (if you can call it that) was horrible. You could see every single drywall seam through the paint and the way they textured the part of the ceiling that was repaired doesn't match the rest of the ceiling. All of the ceilings in my house have a smooth texture and they sprayed a popcorn texture. Now the kitchen, dining room, and half the living room have a popcorn texture, while the other half of the living room has the existing smooth texture. Sara (the owner of Elements) didn't want to have to do the work to make things right, so she just kept insisting on giving it another coat of paint. Three or four coats of paint later, the ceiling still looks horrendous. Even the painter said that he didn't think another coat of paint would fix the issues and Sara insisted on "just trying". Guess what, the ceiling still looks absolutely terrible. I gave up on trying to get them to make it right because they're such a nightmare to work with. They also continually harassed me for payment because they said that they completed the work that they agreed to do on paper, they didn't care that the ceiling was obviously botched. All they cared about was getting paid, Sara obviously doesn't take any pride in her work or care about making customers happy. The last coat of paint was done in January and I recently contacted the painter to ask him about doing an unrelated job, and come to find out, Elements never even paid him for the paint work he did! I hate to say it, but unfortunately I'm not too surprised. I found other bad reviews online, and one mentioned that they don't pay their workers. I wish I would have done my own research and read reviews online before hiring them, definitely a mistake I won't make again. read more

I acquured a house that had been heavily smoked in for morr than 40 years. Needless to say, the entire place was layered in nicotine smoke stains. White walls were literally brown. I called Elements and requested a quote. Torry came over quickly, gave me a quote, and he and his crew got to work shortly after. A shout out to all the guys who cleaned up the ash and debris from our garage fire. We had previously hired a different company which took away the larger debris and then left without finishing the work. Elements scheduled us right away, cleaned up the debris on the foundation and around the garage area and then power washed everything. They were also very patient with us as we waited for our insurance payment to come in. I wish we had hired them to start with. I highly recommend them read more

Do NOT give this company your money! We had a leak in our bathroom May of last year. Our insurance sent out an inspector to look at the damages. The inspector referred us to elements restoration. We called and they came out to do the water remediation (which went ok). Insurance paid them. No problems YET. They tore apart our bathroom and my son's room because the water had leaked downstairs. They then submitted an estimate for the rebuild of our bathroom to our insurance. Our insurance cut us a small check for the work to be started (with the rest to be paid upon completion) but it was not enough to satisfy the deposit to get started. We gave elements the money we did have so "Sara" could get started on purchasing materials. We went back and forth with insurance to get elements more money so that they could begin work. They eventually sent us the money but by the time that happened element's had cashed the check and stop responding to our emails, phone calls and text messages. I have Andrew's number directly and he won't text back. They cashed a check for $2k and WILL NOT REPOND. Their office is no longer at the address that it states online. We will be suing them for the $2k. Do not trust these people with your money unless you can afford to lose it! My husband and I have been struggling to make ends meet the last two years and Andrew and elements restoration now have made it impossible to finish our bathroom because we don't have the money necessary to complete the repairs. I hired Elements Restoration do do a partial remodel of my bathroom that included replacing the storage, re-tiling, changing the light fixture above the sink, removing wallpaper border and repainting the ceiling and walls. While the initial contact was satisfactory and communication with office staff was good and helpful, it did not carry through the project. I was very dissatisfied with the lack of communication offered by Sara. She waited until demolition day to seek approval of the materials that she selected for the remodel which is unacceptable. Not wanting to delay the project, I reluctantly okayed her choices. On day of demolition, she brought a helper with her which is ok but he showed no consideration for my home by carrying the demo materials (which were big items and in large garbage bags) down a long narrow hallway, through my living room and out the front door when there was available access directly across my bathroom (my back door). I was sent on a wild goose chase for paint samples paying for two and upon showing Sara the bag they were in she dismissed them as trivial. After clearly discussing and showing Sara how I wanted the storage to look, she put them up according to wishes and not mine. This caused me to insist that they be changed to the correct position, when it came time to paint the walls any hole and indentation was not spackled but simply painted over leaving an unsightly mess. Caulking that was needed and done was left with cracks. Corners were left sharp causing me to get cut when cleaning. The grout was applied so that there are gaps and cracks, and when cleaning, disintegrate. The paint edges were left rough and not finished in a professional way. It was very obvious that Sara wanted to rush through the job and did not care how the end result looked. I did not appreciate the service I received for these reasons and cannot recommend her for hire. read more

Tory and his team came out and worked quickly and efficiently to get our home back in living condition.
