Elements is one of the only upper-scale restaurants in Logan. The menu is more diverse than you'd expect, from burgers to Asian-style salads. One might shy away from ordering the burger (because why would you order a burger and fries at a nicer restaurant?). But, do it. I promise it won't disappoint. read more

Elements promises but does not deliver. The ambiance ranges from nice to downright lovely (by the river in the summer). The food is generally OK but the service is beyond horrific, especially if you want to order anything with alcohol. It's Logan of the early 2000s in there. Wait staff have no clue what some drinks are or even how to open a bottle of wine. This is curious in a place with a fairly decent selection of drinks. The redeeming quality? Taco Tuesday. The tacos are great and go wonderfully with their beers which don't require much from the servers. **This review does not extend to the terrific little bar inside Elements where the drinks are fantastic, the wait staff there are knowledgeable, and the service is relatively fast. Such a wonderful place! I ordered the Asian slaw salad thing and I liked it so much, I ordered another for my entree. They use some sort of tangy spicy mustard, which is a little bit addicting. I can't remember for the life of me what I ate for dessert but I do remember that, along with a drink, my grand total was $17. Such a steal! I had some great meals at Elements. the short ribs, killer burger, coke meatloaf. The problem is they are not consistent. I was motivated to write this review, about my meal last night. Why even have a dessert menu? so little attention goes into their preparation. Triple chocolate cake, had no cake with three layers of a terrible colored jellied layers, and looked old! For my money I'll stick with Herms, and Le Nonne. And for goodness sake, just serve Aggies ice. read more

Nice refreshing change for Logan. Early lunch specials are a steal. We had the bistro burger, a pasta special of the day with chicken, bacon, creamy parmesan sauce, two flavored lemonades, and each meal came with with choice of soup, salad or fries. All this for 20 bucks and everything was absolutely delicious! We will be coming here for lunch every time we visit Logan now. Excellent food. Good atmosphere. But, the menus are dirty and gross. They are just plain paper with no cover and have stains all over them. They are grossly worn. Not consistent with fine dining. I have pointed it out to the staff on several occasions. The menus always look this way. It makes me want to wash my hands after I have touched them. I have had just about everything on their menu. Have visited this restaurant twice in the last 10 days. Both times the food was hot and tasty with a nice portion size. Loved the French Onion Soup. Service was average, but friendly. My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. It had a nice ambiance. The food was superb with good sized portions. Definitely one of the higher class restaurants in Logan. I had a roast herbed chicken this time. Started with a very flavorful spinach salad and crab cakes with corn chutney. A little bite to that. Then the chicken with creamy potatoes and asparagus. Why five stars? Friendly and professional staff, well prepared food and great prices for a fine dining experience. Wasn't sure what to expect given some of the mixed bag reviews on Yelp, but my experience was nothing but excellent. I stayed in Logan for one night because of a business visit to Hyclone-GE the next day, and very happy to have made the decision to dine here. Maybe it was because of the later 8pm hour, but service was great by the bar - I was seated in a two person booth and greeted by a server named Matthew. I already decided on the Kamikaze Salmon and was pleasantly surprised that dinners also included a choice of salads, so I went with the Baby Spinach salad. The food came out in a timely manner, and they use the freshest ingredients. I finished with a wonderful Strawberry Napoleon with Sorbet. All of this for only $26! Something like this would run closer to $40-$50 for a similar meal in a larger city because the salad would be a separate item and the salmon would be priced higher. If I come back to Logan, this place will definitely earn a return visit. read more

Second visit in two months and will be our last for a long while. We are locals and this used to be one of our favorites but has fallen on hard times. We are very easy to please so the fact that I'm taking time out of my evening to write this review is evidence of how miserable our experiences have been as of late. Party of four and it took over an hour and a half to have dinner. Our poor waitress was trying to serve the patio and dining area but was stretched way too thin. (she tried hard, not her fault) The food was Incinerated AND cold. The black and blue ahi was cooked all the way through. Burgers @ $11 each had no moisture content left and could have passed as hockey pucks. I could go on but I won't. If you really love, or even slightly care about the people you're eating with, you'll take them to elements. It's easily the nicest restaurant in Logan, but not even the most expensive. The waitstaff is fantastic and the full bar is great. Huge selection of food and drinks, even the kids found something they wanted. They have specials every night I've been there and even if they get busy sometimes, it's always been worth the wait. Gone are any sense of the delicate flavors that existed before the menu change. Now the heavy hand of the mid western farm house reigns the menu. Gone are the fun varieties of bread, replaced with a single flavorless baguette. Gone is the option for a smaller filet mingon, replaced with a large hunk of flesh. It would seem as though the individual in charge of the menu options came straight over from Texas Roadhouse. What happened Elements? Why would you do away the sweet potatoes? Why do I now have to pay for a soup or salad? I don't get many opportunities to eat out with my spouse, and the Elements restaurant was always our favorite. Kind of stuffy atmosphere with all the servers in black. But the food was really good. Sit outside and feed the ducks. I had the $10 all you can eat pizza special and found the salad to be really tasty, also bread and butter and good pizza. Enough food that I got two meals out of it (took some home for later). Went for Thanksgiving dinner and had the worst restaurant experience EVER! Here's what went wrong: -Seated in the back, on what looked like folding tables with a table clothe, where the employees were eating -took 30 minutes for the waiters to even offer water and roll -turkey looked and tasted like it had come from a can -had been sitting almost an hour before getting the entree (it was a fixed menu so everyone got the same) -plates and cups were dirty -hair in one of the dishes -waiters completely unattentive; they only came by to bring us food though we could see four of them standing in the hall way chatting I will NEVER go to this restaurant ever. The food was horrible, it looked and tasted like it had come from a can. Mashed potatoes, mashed yams, beans, and two slices of canned turkey... it reminded me of school cafeteria food. read more

We came for lunch and waited for 15 minutes to be seated. We were seated at a table in the dining room, which was not full. We then waited another 15 minutes for someone to wait on us...bring us water....acknowledge our presence....nobody bothered so we got up and walked out.
