I am so grateful for Seiko! I have lived with chronic pain for nearly 15 years. But life goes on and I have to make a living to support my California lifestyle. She is an incredibly intuitive therapeutic massage therapist who took an interest in my particular issues and researched the best approach to treat my symptoms. I had never met a massage therapist who went out of their way, on their own time, even purchasing reference materials, to learn how best to help me. I went to elements because I got a gift card for Mother's Day. Since I am 8months pregnant, I got a pre natal massage by Kevin. I told him my hips and lower back have been bothering me for a couple weeks. After my massage, my hips have felt better than they have in a very very long time. I ended up signing my husband and I for a membership. I was very concerned since I have had trouble in the past with having a membership at a different chain massage establishment. I was assured I would not be taken advantage like that at elements. My husband is going for a massage tonight. We'll update his experience and how our membership pans out in the future. I decided to try therapeutic massage after noticing neck and shoulder pain during my workouts. I scheduled few sessions with David and the results exceeded my expectation. He was very proficient and knowledgable. At the final session he also informed me on other minor issues which I could overcome on my own through regular exercises. The only downside was some complications with the account management and getting enrolled on a monthly plan which was kindly reviewed and resolved by Erina, the owner at this location. Since 2015, I have given gift-massages to several relatives & friends and do recommend David based on my own experience. read more

As I entered the studio I was greeted by Jessica and she made me feel very comfortable as we filled out my form to customize my massage which was a 90 min with aroma and salt stone. The studio felt inviting and the energy level was great. After Jessica and I spoke she introduced me to my massage therapist who's name is also Jessica. The MT Jessica totally addressed all of my needs in the room during my 90 min and I came out feeling relaxed. I use a deep tissue massage as a migraine prevention and also as therapy from a hamstring injury a while back. I called to ask why, they said I didn't fill out the "cancelation form". What?? What cancelation form. They never gave me a refund for the credit card charge. This elements has one of the best customer service. Every time I've called or walked in the front desk has been kind and helpful. Really feels professional. As for massages, I initially came in and tried a few different people but after having David, I haven't switched since. It's nice to feel comfortable asking for more pressure without worrying you are tiring out the masseuse! He knows where to apply more or less pressure and really has helped my back and shoulders! Came here this past weekend and all I gotta say is JAY was absolutely wonderful! One of the best Swedish massages I have ever had. His pressure was perfect and he was very professional and nice to chat with. He really listened to my needs and I will definitely be back for him! One other great thing I like about this establishment is that they are not pushy about sales like other massage chains. Front desk is extremely friendly and welcoming. Went in for a prenatal massage, the massage was cut short by 5-10 mins. Overall for 110$ I don't think it was worth it. This was an amazing massage!!! I took my boyfriend for a couples massage and we both had an amazing time. We both had a lot of stress so we requested masseuses that were good with deep tissue. The receptionist recommend Rashelle and Patrick. Rashelle really got in there and it was obviously painful but that is the point! I felt a lot better afterwards and just super relaxed. My boyfriend said that Patrick was excellent as well. He worked out the knots he had and was very careful about the pressure he applied. We were thisclose to signing up for the wellness program but decided against it this time. But we will for sure be back to get another fantastic massage. read more

Go to Heather! (I hope she's still there) I recently moved and she's who I miss the most haha. She's so knowledgable about the body and certain tendons/muscles that are strained. I didn't go to her for a relaxing massage but to really work on problem areas. I booked a couples massage and had my boyfriend go to her; he is a baseball player and had his throwing arm worked on. She really did a number on him but he felt so much better afterward. I had Alexis during that couples massage and really missed having Heather. My advice: get the membership. I purchased a monthly membership with them back in August of 2021. I went to new sessions and wasn't happy with the service I was provided. I have contacted them over 20 times since then(via email and over the phone) to cancel my me membership as I wasn't happy with my service. Yet every single they have still charged me. I even canceled the card they had on file and got a new hoping that would stop the monthly charges, get they somehow got my new card information and still charged me! They have taken hundreds of dollars from me now at this point and it's ridiculous!! I even took all the money out of my account this month, and they still emailed me saying my payment was unsuccessful but are still trying to charge me. Apparently this is how they make their money because their massage therapists are not that good. They have to steal money from people in order to stay on business. Stay away from them! They will steal your hard earned money! read more

I've been coming to this location for 3 years now. I've had a few different therapists and they've all been amazing. My current therapist is Jappa and he does an incredible deep tissue with a Hawaiian twist. He's originally from Oahu, so he incorporates some techniques he learned back home. It's very unique and effective - after a one hour massage with him, I feel like a completely new person! Since I sit at a desk for most of the day at work, my back and neck get very sore. Jappa is able to work out all my knots and recommends stretches for me to do at home. He's very friendly and professional, as is the rest of the staff at Elements. read more

I had an interesting experience here. The first time I came I had decided on an 80 minute massage. If you read through my reviews you know I get massages fairly often. My therapist was pleasant. I started face down and then she had me turn over. She must have forgotten that I was getting an 80 minute because it seemed like she started finishing up and then said "oh are you getting an 80 minute" I said yes, so she kept going, but it felt a bit disjointed. The massage itself was fine. So I left. I got an email asking to fill out a survey and so I did. I rated the massage and then just mentioned my experience. There was nothing terribly wrong with it. The owner ended up calling me and inviting me back. I was really impressed with her level of customer service and commitment to her business. This time I was with another therapist who did a great job. I also got to meet the owner who was just lovely. You can tell she is dedicated to her business and making sure everyone who walks through the door is happy. The front desk gentlemen also was very welcoming and and friendly. I definitely plan to go back. They have some membership options, which I might look into. It's a great find in the Costa Mesa area. read more

Decide on this spot based on the outstanding reviews; 11 months and a wellness program later, I'm so happy I did. I've had a few therapists (deep tissue) work on my knotted neck/shoulders/lower back and all have done a great job at relieving a lot of that tension and pain. A lot of tension is from stress and sitting at a desk all day for work, some sore muscles from working out/running. I used to go to the cheap $40 massage places... and I actually think I'm spending less on massages per month now because I have to go less often. The therapists here really know what they're doing, know where to target and are effective. Seiko is now my go-to. Her technique is amazing and she can definitely get those knots out. She gets to know her clients, she knew exactly where to target after the second massage I had with her. Awesome - I'm hooked. Thanks Seiko! From the moment I called Elements and spoke to Natalie, I was impressed! I had tweaked my low back and she had just the right touch to work the knots out and massage the hip areas. She also was able to put my shoulders back down where they belong instead of up by my ears. My fiancé coaches Erina's son in soccer, and for Christmas she gave him a generous gift card for a couple's massage. He called her one day to schedule us, weekends are typically busy, but Erina was able to squeeze us in. When we got there, the receptionist was already expecting us. The waiting area alone was already very relaxing. My fiancé even said that if he worked there, he would be asleep instantly, with the calming music and aroma. It didn't take long to wait, Emily and Leah our masseuses, greeted us and showed us to our room and left us to get comfortable. When we were ready, they worked on our problem areas. And they were amazing. I don't think I've ever had a massage that intense before. After our session, they talked to us for a bit and showed us what we need to do and work on some more.
