There's no "deluxe" pedicure for $30+. There's just a pedicure. It includes a free drink, little flower petal things in the water, salt scrub and HOT STONE MASSAGE. They did a great job, didn't rush. It was $24. We're never going anywhere else again! read more

Let me start by saying I got a set and pedi and they look awesome. However, I'm severely concerned with this salons cleanliness. They could have not set my feet back on a towel that had all the dead skin shavings for starters, but the roach that crawled across my chair was the real red flag. I was in Austin for business and before I went I was on a short vacation in the Dominican Republic and I'd colored my nails a bright coral/red color...you know, to be tropical. I usually do not get the reds because it just does not hold up well with my lifestyle I guess. lol When I came back from vacation, my nails were already not looking so great and I only had a day in between my vacation trip and my business trip, so I left without being able to go to my regular nail salon. They were looking, ok when I arrived, but after 3 days of working and using the hotel pool etc etc.. they just started to chip. Of course, now I am working and long hours (I work on events) and I hardly had time to make it to the salons by the time I got out and no nail polish remover, so I started to look like what I like to call "a cheap hooker", you know, just chipped nail polish on your nails (no offense to any cheap hooker out there, that is just not my profession and I do not desire to go for that look, maybe on Halloween? no, not even then). Needless to say that on my last day in Austin, I said to myself... "Self, you can't board an airplane with these nails. It is already bad enough that people do not dress up to fly like in the old days but this is just pushing it. What if you meet a handsome pilot and he is really into you, until he sees your cheap hooker nails? The horror" So I did what I always do when I am in unknown territory, I turn to yelp and my fellow yelppers to see what they have to say. I was not looking for a fancy, zen, angels playing trumpets experience, I just wanted to not look like a cheap hooker anymore and I will say this place was perfect for that. I got in about 2:30ish PM and there were (2) nail techs, a male and a female. They greeted me as soon as I walked in, asked what I wanted and I just said "Mani-Pedi please". They asked me if I wanted that gel and I said, no. (I have used the gel before and do not really find that big of a difference in how long the color lasts. It tends to not chip but does get ugly and dirty quick - on me anyways). They handed me a bottle of water as soon as I sat down and got to work. Since there were only two techs, it was funny how they helped each other. When I walked in, the guy was doing a pedicure but was in a final stage, so he traded with the other nail tech for her to finish the polish on the other client and started my pedicure. They have a basic pedicure for $25 and a manicure for $12. I did not see angels coming down from heaven but since I was not paying for that I was very pleased. I needed to be at the airport by 5PM and they finished me at 4PM, which was great. I was at the airport at 4:36PM, and with nice looking, girl next door, nails. I was pleased. If you are wondering, no, I did not meet a hot pilot on the airplane, however, I did meet a really nice lady and her daughter. The lady is an physicist/astronomer and works in New Mexico in one of the telescope labs...she is like one of the characters from the Big Bang Theory... (my fav comedy show) Yes, we even spoke about string theory. I love that show, but I will admit, I am more like "Penny". Hahahaha We had an awesome 2.5hr conversation about the stars and her research on the New Super Nova. She is also a religious person, which I found to be funny since her field is in pure science, and she said something really nice that I agree with... She said that to her, Science explained God and that is how she is able to work with the two. She does work with a lot of non-religious people and they may not agree in the spiritual side of things, but they agree in the science part at least. (Oh, she did say she does not believe in the string theory yet, she still thinks there is more to it we have not even discovered..hehe) and I really believe that had I flown with cheap looking hooker nails she would not have been as open to hold a conversation with me. In the end, I accomplished my mission and I made a new friend. All because of this nail salon so I will give them a 4! :) read more

I tried this salon today and I had a very good experience. It's not a fancy pantsy salon and the chairs look like they've seen better days but sometimes I prefer a more laid back experience. The massage chairs though they are kind of old, worked well and better than some other salons nearby. It is a husband wife duo who own and run the salon and both did my pedi and gel mani. Pedi was relaxing and my polish looks great. I opted for a higher priced mani at the last second when I found out they offer OPI Gel. The wife did a fabulous job on my hands. They're both very nice, quick and efficient. I will definitely go back there! read more

It's behind Outback, next to a cell phone store. I love it!! It's so affordable and the quality is great! I went on a Friday around 2pm. There were two employees. I believe husband and wife. They worked efficiently. I got a shellac manicure and a pedicure. I was not expecting the hot stones but that was a great bonus!! My favorite nail place in Round Rock hands down! Super affordable, and the service is great. I try and go about once a month to get my toes done. The one downside is only two people work there, so the wait can get long, but it's still worth it to me. First, I will say that the staff was fairly friendly and seated me very quickly. However, I feel like the lady was in a rush to do my gel manicure. She only let my nails soak for about 10 seconds before beginning the manicure and never even filed my nails. Every where else I have been they paint the nail and then set it under the blue light for a couple of minutes to let it dry before applying another coat, she did not. She would wait about 30 seconds and then put another coat on and now 3 days later all of the gel is peeling off. Very disappointed as my normal nail polish would have lasted this long as well. The whole purpose of gel nails is for it to last longer. Needless to say, I will not be returning. read more

This star is based off how rude the guy at front desk was when I arrived at 6:42pm . I told him I needed a pedicure. He says we are closed. I looked at the front door sign and informed him his sign shows differently. He says we have to go somewhere! I said okay I walked out! I came here for a pedi on a holiday weekend (July 4th) as a walk in since I couldn't get in at my regular place (they only do services that are scheduled). I read the reviews on here and that's why I decided to check it out. They were super busy, but very nice. I waited about 15 minutes before being sat in a chair. I realize they were busy and backed up because only two people were working, but I felt VERY rushed. Most of the comments say that they don't rush even though there are people waiting. So that was disappointing. The service was great and I'm happy with my pedicure...might be back. But I'll be sure to have an appointment. read more
