Salon is clean and roomy. The chairs aren't squashed together like some other places, so you've actually got some breathing room. The inspection reports were clearly posted and this salon got a very good rating on their last review. I only had to wait about 5 minutes. I got a color manicure (no gel). The technician was very good and trimmed my nails exactly as I'd asked. The polish is pretty and he wouldn't let me leave until he was satisfied it was dry. I would have given 5 stars if I'd had a better hand/arm massage. Bottom line: I would return next time I'm in Yuma. read more

I went in to get my acrylics removed and get a gel manicure. They did a good job at removing the acrylics, but the gel on my nails started to bubble within hours of getting it done. I took a shower a few hours later and part of it was peeled up, and the polish seemed to be still wet underneath the top layer. It did seem like they weren't very interested in giving me their service, compared to the other customers they had there (even though it wasn't very busy at all during the time I came). I was excited to try this place out because i saw a lot of good reviews on Facebook. So i went in this weekend with my mom and sister since they were coming to visit me from California. We all got pedicures, i got acrylics, mom got a fill, and little sister got mani and pedi both gel. It was my turn to get acrylics and i got a lady i didn't get her name but she's the one that answers the phone and meets you at the front desk to see what you need. My mom sat next to me while a tall skinny man did hers and let me tell you... these two were going at it. You can tell they were arguing bad. You can tell by their body language, his face expression and they way they were doing our damn nails. The lady that was helping me had an attitude with me. The guy later apologized to my mom. But my girl wasn't about it. She was texting on her phone for about 4 minutes straight while i just sat there waiting. I asked her if she could fix under my nails because the acrylic was so thick. She would just look at me like i was stupid. It was the most uncomfortable feeling ever. They were both rushing it all. I kept dusting off my hands cause of the powder and she still would look at my all rude. Don't get me wrong the girls that did our pedicures were amazing! But I Definitely wouldn't go back to her to get my nails done. We ended up paying $180 plus tip for all 5 of them. Which was around 5-7$ each. Not a big fan of my nails either but oh well. So i went in yesterday with my sister to get my nails done. Mind you, im ALWAYS iffy about going back to this place. But this time around was overall a horrible experience and definitely NEVER going back. So i get to my seat, Right off the back i tell him what i want (pink or brown ombré acrylic, manicure, and hand wax. He then looks at me and nods his head, then continues to do my nails. FIRST, hes not doing what i asked didn't asked of him, " Is my shape ok?, is the color ok?, is this how you want it?" NOTHING!!! He stayed so convinced at what the lady behind me was talking about! Kept stopping in between to hear what theyre talking about! "Ex husband this, ex husband that!" Omg. I was getting irritated at this point. He then finished my CLEAR nails, when I specifically asked for "ombre pink or brown" acrylic. but of course he never listened or questioned. So my thought was to just leave as is, im not sitting in this chair any longer, ill live with the clear nails.‍ THEN he finished. He Wanted me to wash my hands, then he started the first finger with clear polish. Then i asked, will you be doing the manicure after the polish? He then looked and me then ran away to get the bowl of water. Left for a few mins then came back with the same tool he grabbed from his drawer of USED TOOLS!!! I then think wait, he never opened a sanitized bag of tools in-front of me like the lady did next to him doing my sisters nails. Mind you, we both wanted the same things , just her lady did everything that was asked and NEEDED for the service. And i got shit..all cause he wanted to HURRY. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! THEN he doesn't all my cuticles n a jiffy! Then asked what color i said no color then i noticed my old nail polish on my nails, on the side too and everything just looks funky like i bit the nail polish off, wtf!? so anyway i ask him "are you going to leave the black on my nails?" he took a deep breath then started the machine to "take off" what was left.its still there... then finishes with clear coat. DONE! Then i go to my sisters station shes still getting her manicure, shes getting her arm massage when i go over. Then i ask her lady "whats a manicure? what are your procedures?" Then she answer and is nothing that he did! I told her he was horrible how he used USED TOOLS ON ME. I could get an infection!! And notified her that i was not going to pay for the manicure! She then said "Hes the manager" and i was so like thrown off at his management skills SO THROWN OFF!! he cant be the manager. He was the WORST EVERRR!! Never going back because of the manager!! Yuck!! then i go to pay he gets mad cause i dont want to pay for the wack ass service he gave me. i did pay for the fill but not the mani. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT ELEGANT NAILS! WOW! Laura is the best!! I went in thinking I would get the 25.00 regular pedi but after examining their "nail menu" I decided to go with the $40 coconut lime pedicure. It took 90 minutes total in and out. It included hot rocks, sugaring, oil, several mini massages with the oil, rocks, and the sugar equaled a fantastic time. Laura put me to sleep!! My only complaint is that it wasn't longer! I lie that Laura painted my nails all the way up to my cuticles (see photo of red pedicured nails) which will stretch the nice nail job a bit longer. She was also able to work with my funky shaped nails and make them look stunning!! I went on a Wednesday afternoon, and it was nice and quiet. I highly recommend! 40.00 well spent! read more

I've came twice (same guy) drove 45 min since nail salons are closed in California and thought well they are really busy but this guy was rushing me the whole time he did such a half ass job kept getting up to sit other people. I asked him to fix the shape he literally ran the nail on the top for what seemed like 2 sec. He kept saying "sorry we're busy" because I'm sure he saw I wasn't too pleased. Asked him for a Christmas red because their samples didn't show much selection brought out a bright red that turned out orange and at this point I was over it I just wanted to leave. Very clean and fairly quiet. I went in for a full set and they acknowledged me right away (thank you!) but were helping about 6 people, so the wait was about 15-20 minutes, which was fine. I didn't catch her name, but it was an older woman who did my nails. I showed her a photo of what I wanted (just clear tips) and she made sure my nails were done perfectly. I went to this place because a friend recommended them. The man there who was doing my nails asked me if I wanted a manicure & I said "No, no manicure just a shellac fill" (I had already had shellac nails on from about 2 weeks prior) I asked him "can you do this pink with a THIN white tip" he then proceeded to give me a MANICURE & left my nail natural with a pink tip. When I asked him if he was still going to do the white tip he got annoyed & it was VERY clear. He sanded down the pink tip & then proceeded to paint my nails with 2 more coats of pink making them extremely thick. The white line is too thick & sloppy. There are areas in my nails that the white bleeds into the pink. My experience was HORRIBLE. Then at the end he gave me a "hand massage" because APPARENTLY this is a manicure which I specifically said no to & it didn't even take a minute he basically just rubbed lotion on me. Terrible service and he wanted to charge me 30$. I will NEVER go here again. Waste of my time. read more

The place is very clean which is a plus but I can't say I enjoyed my time here very much. I came as they were barely opening and there weren't many people yet, 3 technicians and 2 clients, not counting myself. I expected them to be more attentive and to take their time, but they rushed through my pedicure so quickly I couldn't enjoy it. The nail work itself was fine; I wasnt asked if it was okay or if I had any preference when it came to how thick the french tip was which is fine, but it's still nice to know they care about how I want my nails done. I suppose for the price the experience was just fine, but I cant say I want to come back soon. If I can avoid doing my nails here, I will. read more

If I could give this shop zero stars I would. They gave me the worst fill I have ever had In my entire life, uneven, sloppy and ugly! I wanted a simple fill, with regular polish and I wanted one nail to have rhinestones, they didn't have the correct size or color rhinestones which they didn't tell me until she had already put polish on my set. I was looking for a different design because I didn't want just a plain looking set and they told me I needed to scoot over and wait so she could help other customers. My polish was patchy and horribly done. Half of my nails were filed completely uneven and some way too thin and I've already broken two of them. The owner is rude, and completely out of line I can't believe I even had to pay for that kind of service. I will never return to this salon. I walk in 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment and of course waited the 30 minutes, but they seemed low on staff so I didn't mind as much. Then I'm finally seated and I show them a picture of an almond shape set. The man who was doing my nails kept making them super crooked and I tried correcting him. I was not being aggressive or rude, I was simply trying to get straight almond nails. After a few tries, my almond shape was so short, they looked stubby, and low and behold they still looked crooked. The entire time he was noticeably getting more and more frustrated with me, called someone over and asked me to leave. I mean are you serious?! I cannot believe how incredibly rude this man was. I understand he was getting frustrated with the shape I wanted but I was not going to pay over $60 for crooked and stubby nails. Made an appointment for Hanna that everyone recommended, was 5 minutes early, signed in and picked out my color. Someone walked in behind me claiming they had an appointment as well. I was sat at a pedicure station, the water was cold. The customer who came in behind me was seated next to me and she was started on first after I had been waiting. They sent a man over to do my toes and when they saw I was confused and was about to leave they asked if I had an appointment which I had already confirmed when I walked in. I'm not one to write reviews or walk out of places but I think it's just common business to take a customer who's arrived first. Then the man didn't even wear gloves while doing it and his own nails were pretty long and gross. Was never asked what kind of pedicure I wanted, he just went ahead and did his own thing. He was courteous but could tell I didn't want to be dealt with because I had said I had an appointment with Hanna. I wasn't rude at all but I was confused because this was my first time here and this is just not what I expected after reading previous reviews. When they called for Hanna to come to my chair she was already with a manicure customer and looked at me like I was crazy and said I could wait. My pedicure was rushed and Next time I will go back and wait for Le Vogue nails, they are worth the wait. The owner and Hanna apologized but at the same time this first impression was not a good one unfortunately with the way they handled my appointment, there's no organization and the cleanliness of everything.
