I'm a picky person when it comes to my nails. It was time to get a new set and I was hesitant to try a new nail salon. Lately I've been doing my own nails but this time I wanted to go and get pampered. I've been to other salons in the area and they were mediocre. Would always end up shaping my own nails when I got home. So I gave this place a try. The ambiance is clean, nice and relaxing. It took Kelly 25 minutes to remove my old set, apply a new set and gel polish. I was amazed by how fast she was. I absolutely love how my nails look. I went to get my nails done with my daughter. The old man ended up doing the same as my daughters polish which I didn't want. ( I gave my self the benefit of doubt thinking maybe it just looked different on my skin) I picked out my own color. It wasn't until I was side by side with my daughter that I noticed 100% that it was not the color I asked for. When I mentioned if it was the right number he said yeah & grabbed the nail polish I wanted but it wasn't the color on my toes. I didn't want to wait again to get repainted cuz I thought you'd remove the other polish i don't wants. Instead he simply painted over them again . I was not expecting that but I wont be going back again. It's been about a month since I went & in barely taking off the polish & it's even harder to get off as if it was just one regular coat of polish . I have two coats of different colors to remove now. I spent about 45 minutes getting a pink powder French tip and they came out so good. I'm from Phoenix and was a first time customer here and it was quick to be seated and the nail tech, Mimi was very nice and had good conversation. Horrible service!! Why did I come here expecting to be in and out in an hour? Oh yeah, that's normally how it goes! Came in for a French tip set. Waited for about five minutes, then got seated only to be left there FOR OVER TWENTY MINUTES!! To top it off, in between the steps, the lady would go do somebody else's nails and not finish where she started. I'm so unhappy with the set I got, I for sure won't be coming back despite the location. Nails are already showing the base, bubbling happened..and it's only been a matter of days. Made appointments several times not sure why. I wait 45 min to an hour. Then the pedicure that I got was about 10 minutes at most from start to finish. I paid extra for a 5 minute massage. I timed it at 1 min max per leg. If the pedicure was worth the wait that would be different. read more

Unfortunately, this was not the best pedicure experience. First, the callous removal, for which one pays extra, was the shortest treatment ever. He scrubbed my feet with the foot file rasp for less than 10 seconds. Second, toe nails were cut unevenly and at different lengths. This was the most aggravating of all. Third, despite repeating numerous times that I prefer a thin white line on my French pedi, the line was too thick and uneven. I tipped, because I try not to be rude, and left. At home I immediately took off the polish and evened out my toe nails as best I could. After some thought, I returned to see whether someone else could paint the French and make it look half-way decent. I walked in at 6:00 p.m. The attendant said they were closed and the person who helped me was gone. I explained I wanted someone else to do it. She said, "sorry we are closed, we can do it tomorrow." If I had time to get my pedi done tomorrow I would have gone to Star Nails in the first place, where Mimi does a FANTASTIC job. In the end, I paid $31 for nothing. read more

So i have been coming here for the last 5 years i wanna say because i suffer from really bad ingrown nails. I always enjoyed my pedicures because they would painlessly take my ingrown from the root. Well this last few times its been a complete mess idk if because they have different people but they dont seem to know what they are doing they just keep jabbing at my nail and making me bleed. Today i went in hopes it would be better but no, i got the delux pedi and even though it says sea salt massage 5 mask massage 5 min and hot lotion massage 10 i got a 5 min massage overall. Visited this place on Friday, May 11,2018. My sister has been a customer for over 9 years. So I trusted her on going to this place. I paid almost $80.00 for two pedicures and a set of polished toes. As I was getting my pedicure the guy working on me was cutting the side of my toe nail and pulled on the nail and cuticle too hard. He made my toe bleed. I advised him of it and he continued working on it and didn't seem to care. I left home and after a few hours I noticed my toe beginning to swell out of the norm. My toe had pus and was bleeding. I can't touch my toe because it hurts if I press on the side. My toe is now infected and has had pus coming out for a few days now. Please don't go to this place. The guy there completely ignored me and didn't seem to care. I am going to call health department on them so they can check and see if they are sterilizing their tools correctly. I personally sent my sister to let them know and after showing them the pictures all they could say was sorry. I couldn't even get my money back. TALK ABOUT BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

One of my favorite places in Yuma. The salon is clean, the employees are great, the service is incredible and the prices are reasonable. I have never waited for a long time when going without an appointment. Every person I have tried they have been amazing. I wish I could give this place a 0 out of 5 stars. I am new to the Yuma area and I have been in and out of multiple nail salons and each one being worst than the last but this nail salon has to be the worst one yet. I asked for a basic gel pedicure with the exception of getting my toe nails cut down, a heads up in the future if anyone dares to come here, cut your own toenails beforehand, because they assume every woman wants their toenails cut inward and at an angle instead of normally cleaning up your nails. Aside from the horrible way they cut toenails, they also butcher your cuticles. My cuticle on my big toe was butchered so bad I ended up with a blood blister on the side of my toe that I'm now reaping the consequences of. Just a warning out there for everyone who is looking for a good pedicure, this is NOT the place. read more

1st, I use restroom, and there I sticky yellow stuff on toilet. Back massager made noise, the guy that did my Mani -pedi was in a rush, I did not get my timed massages, warm lotion on legs, suppose to be 10 mins, I got a minute each leg. Hand massage maybe a minute total. I was not happy at all, I tried to tell him, he just laughed. The place has hone down hill, filth everywhere, at my station for mani, there was a hair band with hair on it on pole? WTH? Been coming for years when I visit my Moms, I will not be back. My wife went here and was very satisfied with her pedicure. They took their time and offered a bottle of water. The place was clean and centrally located. However, it was a bit pricey (for Yuma) at $20 and some of the staff didn't speak English. Stop by if you want to get toenail fungus. I had never had a pedicure before in my life, I stopped by and got a French tip on my toes. They looked ok, nothing fancy. 2 weeks later my toenail turned light brown underneath, I assumed it was dirt but was wrong!! 2 months later my toe nail literally is falling off my toe. STEER CLEAR. If I could put zero stars, I would. The customer service here is terrible. Getting my acrylics taken off should NEVER be a painful experience, but it was here. It felt like my fingers were being ripped off. I even told the lady that was doing my nails that she was hurting me and she didn't care. Didn't get what I asked for, she kept telling me other shapes and colors were going to look better. Also, got fungus under my toes from my pedicure here. Unsanitary and disgusting! I just moved to Yuma and was checking out nail salons nearby. I tried this one because it looked clean & new...sadly the service was awful! I felt like the job was completely rushed even though there were no other customers waiting and there were only two other people there. Not happy with my pedicure. After telling her not to cut my nails too short, she proceeded to cut multiple until they bled. I don't think she understood me at all. In addition, she thought it would be a good idea to round the edges so much as to create ingrown toenails in 4 of my toes. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean and the staff is friendly. You'll get a bottle of water during your treatment but I will never get a pedicure here again. The last time I went, the woman doing my nails began to DIG under my nail then cut off a part of my skin. It was the MOST painful pedicure I've EVER had. The next day my toe was swollen and red. I was very afraid it was infected. On the upside, they do eyebrows beautifully so I will continue to go there for that but I won't ever let them touch my nails again. read more

I went here a couple weeks ago to get an acrylic full set... it was terrible. The technician rushed through the process and didn't bother to sand down the base at all. I also asked him to be careful with one of my thumbs because there was a cut near the finger nail, and he ignored me and repeatedly brushed the drill against the cut. When it was time to put on the polish, he told me I was getting "gel nails" and that it was extra. It was just the usual clear polish... and they ended up charging me $30 for the set. Here's the killer... I went to another salon to get them filled and EVERY SINGLE ONE was infected.. they were completely fitted incorrectly and lifting up from my nail beds. The new tech was shocked at how badly they were done and kept asking me about the place I got them done at. This place is ok for a quick pedicure, but do not let them go anywhere near your artificial nails. Nasty. read more

I have been going to Jenny at this nail salon for over a year and a half. I have never had a bad experience! They are a little bit more pricey than other nail spas, however, my nails (gel) last me 4 to 5 weeks and still look good when I go in for my next fill. Today I decided to give this joint another try. I walk in at 2:15PM for an eyebrow wax and was asked to wait for a few minutes. Ok. No problem. Other customers walk in for mani/pedi treatments. Five mins go by, then 10, then 15. No less than six mani/pedi customers are now in seats getting their hand and foot jobs. I'm still waiting. At the 20 minute mark two young girls walk in wanting some kind of wax treatment and are immediately ushered to the waxing room. I immediately get up, frustrated to the max, say " I'm outta here" and two employees just look at me as I exit and walk to my car. I'm guessing the lady owner is who followed me out. My car is already cranked and I have it in reverse. She's all like come back in we take care of you. I explain to her three times I had been waiting 20 mins for an eyebrow wax and she says no we get you next. I say no, you won't. I've been here waiting 20 mins, no less than six other customers walk in after me for mani/pedis and then those two girls walk in and all of a sudden your waxing room is open? I've waited and now you chase me out the door? This is the second time this has happened to me here and I will not come back. You (the lady who chased me out the door) chased me out the door both times. You just lost a customer forever. All she's says is "I sorry" like three times. Thing is.. I will not go back. I will never recommend this place either. If I could assess negative stars, I would. I'm a very patient person and normally would not walk out, but the service here appears to be substandard. I drove less than a mile north to Best Nails on the corner of Ave B and 16th. Walked in and was immediately ushered to their waxing room. I received immediate service which was far better than the service I got at Yuma Nails and Spa the one time I did go in for an eyebrow waxing... several months ago. Out of four visits, two were no shows on the establishments portion and the other two, including that wax I did get were both substandard. I got almond shaped gel acrylic nails. The shape is really nice and fits my hands perfectly. The price was a little high but worth it for the quality. I paid $40 for the full set. I would recommend getting your nails done by Jenny. She did an amazing job on my nails. I am thoroughly happy with my experience. read more

worst experience.. he accidentally cut one of my toe nails and started bleeding, I thought it was ok..went home and I woke up in the middle of the night with my toe swollen and water coming out like infection.. my feet have been itching since the pedicure I had to make appointment with my doctor.. I messaged them and never got response back I'm not asking for my money back I just think they should more carefull with disinfecting tools so it won't happen again its disgusting. read more
