I really needed a pedicure after riding and decided to try Q Nails. It's a pretty big salon with lots of manicure and pedicure stations. I made a reservation but still ended up waiting about 20 minutes. The technician did an okay job cleaning up and filing my nails, but they were uneven and I had to refile them myself when I got home. The polish application also wasn't very even, and there were a few spots where the color was missing. I really enjoyed the foot massage. They even set a 10 minute timer to make sure you get the full massage time, which I appreciated. Everyone was nice, but overall, I probably won't be coming back here. read more

've always had gel x nails done in my life. In California I would do them so often and I always loved the service because of how careful and gentle people were. The man who did my nails last night showed none of that. He was applying the fake nail onto my real one, but the real problem was that he was pushing the fake nail so far back, it felt like he was trying to shove the nail under my cuticle skin. My skin feels a bit sensitive and irritated because of how he handled/cleaned up my nails. The second problem is that he applied the wrong shade of blue on my nails and decided to add unwanted glitter on my nails. I've repeatedly said no glitter and was still charged $80 which was unreasonable because I didn't ask for the glitter and the person who I called earlier said it would be a $65 charge. Not sure if I'll come back but if I do, I'm definitely picking someone better. read more

Went in for a pedi and mani about 3 weeks ago. The pedicure went fine but the guy who was to do the manicure was horrible. I had a picture of a very simple French manicure - pale pink with rose gold tips, which any salon anywhere should have been able to do. I could not find the right colors in the pallets they'd given me so I asked for help in choosing the colors. He immediately got short and upset with me, tossing stuff around. When I tried to show him the picture, he stood up and said, "no picture, you didn't pick a color". I said I am trying to pick a color, to which he replied" Do you want to do this or not?". after another couple of exchanges I finally just said I'll pay for the pedicure and skip the manicure. he said "I think that's a good idea". I will not set foot in this place again. It was probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. read more

ANOTHER SUBPAR NAIL EXPERIENCE...Me & my daughter (11yrs old) got a manicure. I asked for soft gel nails. They gave her a full set with tips/acrylic instead. I let it slide & just got the same. I showed my tech a pic of what I wanted (simple, short, almond tip), with color choices (pink jelly polish/purply pink glitter polish for two middle fingers). He grabbed something completely different. He said would look similar after. Well, it didn't. I chose light pink jelly polish...ended up with a natural clear polish. Asked for short nails, he said I needed length to get the shape I wanted, although previously agreeing to the pic. Overall, my nail color was awful/unattractive combo. My nail bed was left unnaturally wide looking/unshaped, tips longer than desired/crooked, polish hardened/spilling over my cuticles, which didn't wash off. They're messy & lack detail. I had to come home & undo the mess, repaint & properly shape/shorten/clean up my nails & cuticles with my own tools & polish sadly. Nails are too expensive to end up with anything so extremely contrary to what is asked for. I think getting the look I asked for or finding someone who can do the job otherwise is a pretty basic expectation. My nails weren't even in the ballpark. Fortunately, the lady did a pretty good job with my daughter's nails, other than the initial mishap. Listening skills are essential for great customer service rather than a rushed subpar service. WHERE HAVE ALL THE GTEAT NAILS TECHS GONE THESE DAYS, AND AINCE WHEN DOES A MANICURE NO LONGER INCLUDE NAIL/CUTICLE PREP, UNLESS YOU PAY EXTRA???!! THERE IS NO AESTHETIC IN SLAPPING POLISH OR A FULL SET ONTO FILTHY/RUGGED NAILS & HARD DEAD CUTICLES!! WHAT GOOD TECH WOULD WANT TO DO SUCH A THING? I have been going to this nail salon for years but today was the last time I will go. My mail tech was so rude. He cut up my nails, left acrylic all over my fingers, and acted annoyed with me the entire time. I cried because I told him I wanted almond...he did square...I reminded him nicely and he did this. I asked if I could leave and just pay for what he had done so far and he said no this is what you wanted it's fine. I have never had such a bad experience. 1 week post visit, went in with my husband for pedicures. The technicians did not use freshly sterilized tools, which is concerning. The pedicures themselves were well done both of us are satisfied with the outcome. I had an additional service of a manicure with DIP polish. Again no freshly sterilized tools were used, the technician was painfully slow and 5 layers of dip were used. When going to other nail salons, typically the layers are 3. Needless to say my nails are super thick and have some funky edges. I'll be looking elsewhere for my next service read more

I don't know why I came back again. They were clearly in a rush and didn't do a good job. Overall my gel manicure is sloppy. You can see that on my thumb there appears to be an air bubble. How she did that I have no idea. When I touch the air bubble it moves around because it's not connected my natural nail. In most of the nails, the gel polish is applied unevenly and has a bunch of air bubbles. These pictures were taken the day after I got the manicure and the polish is already chipping at the tips. Overall, I don't believe this was worth the 35 dollars and will not be returning. read more

All the ladies that helped me were all so fun and sweet. They made my time there great and they took time to make sure I felt pampered. My pedicure with Hannah was AMAZING. Even though the prices are higher here than what I'm used to (new in town) it was totally worth it because they gave me a 5 star experience. They were friendly, down to earth, and went above and beyond. Pedicure-5 stars. Then one of the managers did my nails, I don't remember her name but she was so funny and sweet. Rosie is amazing. She's not rushing to get you off the chair for the next client but she isn't agonizingly slow either. She took just the right amount of time for my pedicure and manicure - fixing any places she may have Gorton Polish in my skin. And when my mother was being bounced around 3 different people and still hadn't had her nails even started- Rosie took over and finished the work easy peasy. I went there about 4 days ago while visiting a friend that lived in the neighborhood. The place is rundown and not kept up. My nail polish is already coming off of my nails (standard mani). Also, we were told by another patron that the male worker who did our nails was making comments about us after we were finished. We were standing out front deciding where to go to lunch and apparently the man was upset that "we just wouldn't leave." He then sends a 16 year old out to verbally assault us in the parking lot. The child accused us of touching her car (mind you...we were at least a foot if not more away). This child was rude and did not even work there. If I could give negative stars... I would.
