I needed a foot massage and my toes done, so I decided to visit #1 Pro Nails. I arrived around 3:45 and was seated immediately. The gentleman who started my experience didn't speak any English but he smiled and communicated by showing me what he needed me to do with hand gestures. I am good with that! He gave me the best leg/foot massage that I have ever had in a nail salon! The foot soak water could have been hotter, but that's just a preference, not a complaint! I like to have the gel polish because it lasts way longer! After I picked a sparkly red color, a young lady traded spots with the guy and did a great job applying the polish. My toes look pretty and my feet feel wonderful!! I just get the basic gel pedi and paid $37. Plus the tip! They have the massage chairs, a television and plexiglass to provide a barrier between them and their customers. Very pleasant and I'll be coming back! read more

Nails were decent. A bit overpriced from my experience with pedicures. But over all good service.

I dropped by as a walk in with no appointment on a Friday. Not too busy, had a 25 minute or so wait. They were very friendly when greeting me. I got a basic pedi and a gel manicure with V. She took her time and did a thorough job with both manicure and pedicure. What I liked most is that she painted the whole nail, because you know sometimes you go get a manicure and they leave a little nail showing near the cuticles? Well at least that's been my experience and I can't stand that but not with V! She painted the whole nail and so neatly. I'm giving them 4 stars because it did take some time to get done and wasn't fast like I'm used to-coming from a different state. But it wasn't super slow either. So I'd say 4.5 stars. read more

I went to #1 Nails on 02/02/24 to get my nails done for my birthday. i asked for gel nails with 8 of my nails being black and 2 of then being a sparkly nude with a design on them. i even gave a picture to show the design. i was sat down in the chair pretty quick even though the lady was still doing someone elses nails she had me come sit right in front of her. i told her what i wanted and she said she was able to do it. so she got started and everything did seem a little different like it looked like regular nail polish but i didnt want to be pushy and question the artist, she was very nice the whole time everything did come out very nice i liked how my nails looked and it was only $40 and tip. but by the next day my nails had started chipping which is weird to me because i wasn't being rough with them since i had got them done i literally showered went on the computer washed dishes put on makeup went to dinner changed took off makeup went to bed and woke up and they were already chipping. normally when i get gel manicures they do not chip for at least a month if that most likely longer and im usually doing sports and more than i did within that 20 hours so it was weird to me that they chipped so easily. now upon further "investigation" i can confirm it is not real gel its just regular nail polish and a thick top coat to make it seem like it. unfortunate but out of my hands. read more

This place doesn't even deserve a one star... I went there and I can tell you im not coming back there again. I came to this place as someone who rarely gets their nails done. My first impression was this place was decent the guy was in a way hostile with how I wanted my nails and made me bleed by cutting me with the drill thing on almost all my fingers. The staff that did my nails saw my bleeding nail amd did nothing about it. I feel that since they knew I didn't know how nails go that I would have no idea what was right or wrong. They took advantage of it and made me pay more than expected. Not even the worse part. Im not the only one. I took my mother with me and did the same to her but not as bad. read more

I went to #1 Nails on Pacific Ave to have acrylic nails removed. The guy RIPPED and pryed them off without soaking them. He saw that it was painful and didn't stop until he made me bleed and I stopped him. At that point, he soaked the remaining couple of nails and they came off easily. Days later, my real nails are ripped, damaged and they still hurt. I have raw spots and can't wet my left hand without it throbbing. Will never return there. read more

Had a very good experience at Tuesday, and am sorry to say forgot the techs name but it was better than many pedicures I've had in the Scottsdale area. Only thing that took rating to 4 instead of 5 was the lack of liners in the tub and the utensils didn't come wrapped but looked shiny clean and if course disinfectant tabs put in water. Price was same as I pay for lesser services. Thanks, #1! read more
