Found this place on yelp while traveling. It had decent reviews and nice pictures. So, I thought I'd give them a go after researching around Yuma. I got acrylic, almond shape nails and a basic pedicure. I wanted a design on my acrylic, so she recommended ombré which I did. It seems like it's a wife and husband place and they seemed busy, maybe a little over booked. I felt like she was rushing the whole time and maybe that's why I kept getting cut. The worst customer service here. We did not have an appointment, so they told us they could get to us in an hour. That was fine and we just sat and chatted with each other. One hour turned to two, and two turned to three. The nail job was 'ok' at best, but the shape was off and they look bumpy. They also handled their instruments very roughly. My friends fingers are cut up and when she said "ow", she was ignored and the technician just kept hurting her. My friend told her technician every time she noticed a mistake like a crooked nail, and more oval style than pointy, and she just kept going. My friend pointed out so many mistakes and the technician just ignored her, while continuing to drill into her nail beds and fingers. We went back to have them removed and to get a refund because of the bad job. The manager proceeded to yell (yes, yell) at us and refuse the refund for the shotty work. We stayed calm, but my friend was shaking while he was yelling straight at her. There were other customers in the salon watching the whole thing, it was horrible. He looked at her nails and said there was not anything wrong with them. He argued with her about her nails, the time we waited, and why she wouldn't let him fix the nails. While he was taking them off, he continued to hurt her! And refused a refund, even after hurting her, yelling at her, and all this in front of customers. We just wanted a refund for the bad $65 nail job, and we left with even more painful hands, a lashing from the MANAGER, and a gift certificate. As if we are EVER going back. Do not go here. ***update*** The owner of this business called my friends phone at almost 9:30pm. He would have had to look back at previous callers into the store to do this. He literally called her personal phone over this review. This is so beyond unprofessional I honestly cannot believe this is happening. He continually called her until she had to block him. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THEY WILL BELITTLE YOU, GASLIGHT YOU, YELL AT YOU, AND TAKE YOUR PERSONAL. PHONE. NUMBER. TO CALL YOU AT NIGHT. We are just in shock that this carried on like this. I Hate to write a bad review of a place I had a good experience in once. I had gotten my nails done here and it's the best place my nails lasted a good two months with out lifting or breaking. I was around the area and I thought why not do it again but I was in need of an eyebrow clean up so I thought why not the service was good lest try the service for eyebrows NEVER AGAIN i came in for a clean up and left with a whole different eyebrow shape. I clearly told the lady that I just wanted a clean up and when she showed me the end result and I told her that it wasn't what I asked for she said sorry but I thought it was good to what I responded I understand you thought but it is not correct to change my whole eyebrow shape with out my permission first bc this is not what I wanted she then said that's what a clean up if to her. I was cussed at by the store owner! Unfortunately I don't have the space to leave the full experience therefore I will keep it concise. The man that sits by the front door "Mr.T" had a problem with me wanting my nails cut. Although I asked for claws, it did not mean that I wanted 2 inch nails. He did not like that he had to cut them since claws are long. After going back-and-forth with him I told him that if it makes him feel better to call it short we can. It was as if he needed me to admit that they were "short". Later as he was filing my nails, it hurt so I said "ow". Not as a way to attack him, but it was a reaction to being in pain. He gets incredibly defensive saying that all he is doing is filing and sitting there so quietly the whole time. I told him it had been almost 2 years and that I was sensitive. That didn't matter though, he kept going on and on about him doing the best he can & all he is doing is filing. After I told him that he really is doing a good job, he left it alone. He then took out his phone to start recording me. Mind you, I was live as this nail appointment was good content for my viewers. My intentions were to have a girl time live while I was getting a full set. His intentions were unlike mine. While I was waiting to pay, another lady who recently got her nails done had come back to get them fixed. She was sitting in his chair with some cracked nails. She was super sweet tho! My daughter complimented this woman's hair and we got to talking. I mentioned that I will not be returning as customer service was awful. The man that did my nails, Mr. T, said "you don't have to say that ma'am". I responded "boy bye it as a free country I can say whatever I want" and I walked out of the salon. He followed me out and was waving heavy saying "have a good day! Have a happy new year! Thank you for coming!" He was obviously being extra and trying to get under my skin. I completely ignored him as it wasn't going to work. As I drove off, he made sure he was a good distance away from his salon as well and yelled "B*TCH!". Poor lil tink tink doesn't realize that's exactly what makes him one. Spewing profanity at me while I'm driving away. Real cute in front of my teenage daughters. I wish I read the other reviews that this place had because other people had similar experiences. Summary: They did a bad and sloppy acrylic nail job. I asked for a refund, and they stated I would not be allowed my refund without taking down my reviews. Quote: "his business is more important than one bad review." I don't know if I'm the first to put a bad review, but I guess we will never know if he's silenced people in the past. Plus a picture of the response I got from the manager after he saw that I redid my review. The business it's self isn't bad, the people are generally kind, and the majority of the services are very good, as I have stated I've been there a few times. Just be wary of this when you go. Be sure to never pay for the service if you are not 100% happy. I've had both good and bad experiences at this nail place but this one was bad very bad, and they have lost my business. I went in to get a full set of acrylic nails and the manager nail tech was sloppy with the glue and dip powder. There was a ton of glue under my nail, and in the picture shown there is dried dip powered on my skin above my nail. He stated he couldn't fix the glue problem without the possibility of hurting me and said to come back in a day or two to fix it for me. To add the nails didn't match, as there were differences in the width, length, and shape of the nail. I did state that I was unhappy about the quality and asked for him to fix the mistakes multiple times. I even mentioned one of them was shaped different and he said, " no that's your finger". I paid for the service and left the nail salon. At home I realized the quality of the nails kept bothering me even after I spend 30 minutes taking out the glue that was under my nails and on my hands. I wrote a review of the service online. I went back the next day to have them completely removed because the only way to make them even would be to cut them shorter which isn't something I wanted. When going back to get a refund, he agreed to refund me and remove the nails. A different nail tech started to remove my nails by sanding down the nail; the manager came over and told her to cut the tips off them with nail clippers. She did as instructed, and then stopped the service. The manager then said that he will refund me, but he would charge me the removal fee to take the nails off, after he had already told her to cut them, and previously agreeing to remove them without mention of the charge. I was appalled at this action of thinking and left with botched unevenly cut and cracked nails. And updated my review. He said the refund would be back in our account in a few days. After a few days had past I came back to check on the refund as it had not shown up. Upon entering the building the manager escorted me outside to explain to be how I should not have put the reviews up and that I would not get my refund unless I took down the reviews, as I copied and pasted the review on different forums such as Google, Yelp, etc. He said and I quote "his business is more important than one bad review." I did as he asked to get my refund; now that I have I'm letting the clients know that this occurred, because you should never silence anybody, as everybody has a right to their opinion, and to be wary of how the business conducts themselves. Attacked is the original review. "To start I have had good experiences with them before, but today was not one of those. I went in for a full set of acrylic nails with dip powder. The communication was a little off because I just had throat surgery but I wrote on my phone what I wanted, oval nails, my cuticles trimmed and a picture of what I wanted. After he explained the price we decided to just do a full color instead of colored French tips, as there were no prices listed on the wall. The salon tech, the manager, was very sloppy with the glue when putting on the acrylic so there was glue all over my fingers, and was very sloppy with the dip powder and so there is dried power on my fingers as well. Not all the nails are straight and the edges next to the cuticle, which he didn't clean up, are super thick. And the nails on my left and right hands don't match in width and length. At the end I asked for a discount because the glue was very sloppy and was everywhere and he couldn't get it out form under my nails without hurting me, and he said no to just come back in a day or two to fix it. Very disappointed all around." AGAIN no hate to the business as a whole or of the nail techs themselves, this is just a bad review on the business practices. Nobody should be silenced in order to be treated fairly. This review is for all the people that may have been silenced. read more

This place was so terrible the lady didn't give me what I asked for and cut me very bad and I wouldn't stop bleeding she didn't care and as I told her no to stop she put the acrylic nail glue on my cut even tho I said no stop she kept going as my finger kept bleeding and they did not care they charged me full price and didn't stop when I asked them to. This nail salon was suuuper packed for memorial day. I called around and plenty of salons were closed for the day so it's not surprising that every seat was filled when I walked in, after calling to confirm they had a spots open. I waited about 10 minutes before getting into a pedicure chair. I was given a massage by an older man and then a young woman completed the service, both were pleasant if you enjoy going to get your work done in peace and not constant chit chatting. Basic pedi is $20 and gel polish is $15, I'd def go back, my nails came out great, especially considering every seat in the house had someone in it! read more
