This place is my go to for any computer emergency. I've had to enlist the owners help a number of times, and he's been MORE than helpful every time. I first came to him with a new used MacBook Pro that I had stripped the screws on. I had been to everyone, and they wouldn't touch it. He spent hours with me, even though this is not one of his services - AND he warned me it might not turn out how I want it to. He eventually got into my prized possession, and didn't even know how to charge me for it - and wasn't going to. Almost too helpful!! Great shop! Great owner! Apple users - Take your money there!! I've been taking my computers here for a few years now and I wanted to give them a little something back as a thank you. I run a small business and Essie has helped us out with a number of issues with our PC's, all with prompt & super friendly service at a a very reasonable price. He's also taken care of my macbook and I'm bringing in my iphone too. He does it all! He does all the work himself to ensure it's done right and I've never had a problem with his repairs. I needed some files to be restored. My sister borrowed my old laptop. My sister is a teenager, and we all know how considerate and thoughtful teenagers can be. Long story short, she deleted all my files without asking me. This was closer to me than any other computer repair shops, so I gave them a try. I felt restricted by the real estate, and despite some of the products on sale here, they felt more like decorations. I don't know much about computer hard hardware components. It seems the merchandise on sale would suit most regular replacement needs. There are no big box brand retailers nearby, so it serves its purpose by offering convenience of location for such products. It cost twenty dollars for the system analysis. It was a painstakingly tedious process that relied only on the software the computer was running. Five hours later, I felt the need to check up on the guy after receiving one call asking me questions about my laptop that he should have asked me in the beginning. When I showed up unannounced, I saw the guy connected to his Call of Duty account. I don't know if I recognize his user name, it seemed familiar. He might one of those campers who snipes brave internet soldiers like me, who prefer to engage the enemy. I cannot condone such behaviour. I wanted to challenge him to a squad match, but he'll probably kill me. I need to keep my Battlefield 4 points up. The guy works in a computer store, defeat is inevitable. I left my laptop overnight for the program to attempt to recover my files. All of the crucial documents were not retrieved. I got some files back, but not the ones I was dying to get back. Six years worth of scripts and material, conversations with friends. Gone. That was until I went to another computer repair shop, where half of the documents were recovered in under four hours for half the price. I should have been more observant. An electron has nothing to do with computing. To be fair, the other place I went to was very "Asian." So I'm not sure whether what they did to recover my files was completely legal. Electron Computer INC is an international franchise, which comes with their restrictions as to what programs they use, and how they use it. It seems that this location deals mainly with hardware component issues, and I've brought them a complex software problem. It certainly appeared to be the case when compared to the other computer repair store. This was a lesson I'd rather not have learned the hard way, but at least it was only $20. I wasn't charged anymore than that. I was going to buy my sister a new laptop for Christmas, but now I think I'll just give her this one she wiped clean. read more

Im so pleased with everything that happened. I was looking around for a place to repair my laptop screen and it was going to take a week at least to get parts and service. I called up and by chance Electron said they would have it by mid day. The screen was replaced and fixed same day without any hassle and at a good price. He saved my bacon. read more

Brought my MAC laptop here to replace the screen. The store was closed earlier than the stated time but when I called the cell number, Esi came within a few minutes to open. I was quoted on the phone and given a written estimate of $450-470 max + HST. However, once the repair was completed over the weekend, Esi said the price was $480 + HST. I questioned this but Esi replied that he had to mark up the cost of the part by $100. After asking what his best price would be, he thought for a brief while and said $500 cash. I picked up the computer and paid the $500 cash. After taking the cash and giving me my paid receipt, Esi complained that he was losing his hourly wage. So bottom line, Esi fixed the lap top in a few days. Price reasonable but don't tell me one price, then ask for another higher amount and complain that you are not making enough money when it is straight cash. read more
