I have another Macbook Pro that I thought needed a RAM upgrade because the app store icons aren't show but they said it was necessary - honest alert. And also, they have tons of other stuff - cellphone accessories, computer paraphernalia and even laptops. Move over Pacific Mall. This should be everyone's go to place in downtown Toronto (or even those from the 'burbs) - the folks are so honest. He was able to transfer my files to a new refurbished laptop and have it back to me within the day. Unfortunately, some of my files didn't get transferred over, so I went back, and again. At first Eduardo couldn't locate my files, but with persistence and some detective work found my files in an unusual file location. My father and I wanted to hook up one of our laptops to our TV, but neither of our laptops have HDMI ports, which complicated things significantly. We didn't really know what we needed to get the job done, but as soon as we walked into Canada Computers and explained our mission, the sales associate (I think his name was Jeffery) immediately began helping us find what we needed. He was extremely helpful and personable: he clearly explained why we needed the items we needed, he didn't make us feel stupid for not knowing much about computers, and he seemed to genuinely want to help us - not just sell to us but help us. And once we got home, hooking everything up was a sinch. My father originally felt we should just go to Best Buy, as Canada Computers was out of our way and seemed less reliable than a major tech giant. Our visit to Canada Computers proved otherwise. The customer service we recieved at Canada Computers far outstripped anything I've ever gotten at Best Buy, and they had a vastly superior selection of reasonably priced cables and converters. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone with computer tech needs.

Just said file a police report - not that we will help you find the parcel, we will contact UPS to file a claim nothing. i contacted cops they just gave me an incident report, i asked will they be looking for my device when it comes online - said no. Basically a police report does nothing to find your device, i called Asus informed the same, created a case and was told if it comes online they cant do anything. I completely Blame the sender Canada Computers - 1st - they used a box that was 4 times the size of the mini pc. no reason at all, someone took out the item and resealed the box, 2nd - they put there warehouse address on the senders - this is a big problem - as soon as driver or anyone who gets the parcel will want whats in the parcel as they know it is electronics. Also in general the help and customer service is below zero, i am out of 2,200$ and i am getting answers like file a police report that is it. they dont even want to file insurance claim with UPS, how pathetic is this. People in the future - dont support online purchases - this is very common now. no one cares, i must pad the salary of the CS who answered the phone and did nothing. instead of working towards helping the buyer, i have no help at all but arrogance and my fault. i dont even know how it is my fault.

The power jack on my laptop was loose; it will not hold charge unless pressure is applied on the adapter. My adapter works fine, and so does my laptop itself besides that power jack. Basically, we were told that it would be fixed in THREE DAYS, but instead they took OVER THREE WEEKS and was still not fixed. They do not call you if they have missed their promised "completed" dates. You will have to keep calling them for updates and even then, all you get is more excuses, " the technician is still working on your laptop". I got fed up and demanded to get my laptop back (No, they did not fix my laptop in-store, they sent it out to their warehouse to have it fixed which I was not aware of at first). To show you what I had to deal with. I can no longer charge my laptop and it will not turn on anymore. I hear a loose screw in my laptop; they told me that it's normal. They misplaced my laptop's charger, and offered me a different one that was 15V and said it was the same thing as mine. I refused and was furious with their unorganized setting. They eventually found my charger, but asked if it was the correct one. I told them that they should know! That is when they checked and said yes, this is the 19V for my Asus AND most laptops charger are uses 19V except for the 15V Toshiba( which was the one offered to me and claimed to be the same). They did offer to fix my laptop if I agree to pay for what they are asking. Apparently it would take another week, but they can't promise you that. This place is a huge disappointment. Please save yourself the hassle and don't ever come here! There were more BS, but I am trying to keep it short. Don't bother with the manager, Gail Shipclark, ITS USELESS. We have asked to speak with her. We were told & shown that a text message was sent to her mobile, and that she will contact us ASAP, even if she was away. It has been OVER a week since that text was sent, and still we did not hear from her. The least I could do is write this review and make sure that everyone I know,should be aware of this place. 1 star only because I had to in order to post this review.
