One day my laptop suddenly died. In a panic I rushed over to IGS, where I had service done before. Eduardo was very responsive. He was able to transfer my files to a new refurbished laptop and have it back to me within the day. Unfortunately, some of my files didn't get transferred over, so I went back, and again. At first Eduardo couldn't locate my files, but with persistence and some detective work found my files in an unusual file location. He was able to recover the files (7 years of work, consisting of 120 GB). what a relief. I recommend IGS with 100% confidence they can resolve your issues, or outfit you with a refurbished computer. Thanks. read more

Ordered a computer last Friday and it was at my door less than a week later. Great little unit at a fantastic price. Eduardo was incredibly pleasant and easy to deal with as well. Will certainly use them again. Thanks! read more

Very pleasant experience. Quick and attentive service. Problems solved. Reasonable pricing.

I had to leave a review after Eduardo fixed my 2017 MacBook Air cracked screen recently. Amazing service at a fair price. Will definitely be referring family & friends for their tech needs. Thank you for your help! read more

Highly recommend IGS. I have an IT support/installation business, setting up networks, servers and maintaining systems for small businesses in the GTA. In 2001, I walked into Eduardo and Oswaldo's store just after they opened to buy some supplies.... And I'm really glad I did. I agree with Randy M who wrote in his review, 4 years ago, "a good shop for your computer needs - PC and Mac ie: repairs and upgrades. Fair prices, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Used computers and ability to order or build new - there isn't much they don't do." If I've ever run into technical problems, defective product or misunderstandings, we've always worked things out satisfactorily. read more

Always friendly, always well-stocked. There a massive black hole of unskeezy computer supply stores out here on the east end of the Danforth, so so I was overjoyed when I walked into ICS the first time, saw all kinds of product at reasonable prices and quickly recognized that these folks actually have game. If you're simply looking for low-cost components or all the way up to very reasonably-priced refurbished systems, put ICS at the top of your list. read more

Good expertise. Fixed my laptop that had issues for the past 2 years. Charges were reasonable too. Saved me the cost of buying a new laptop.

Great selection of affordable refurbished units - many corporate-grade, laptops, desktops, colour printers even. Bought my daughter a wonderful tiny HP laptop that is probably the equal of my older macbook - for $299, new battery, very recent model. Fantastic. Friendly and helpful, a great experience, no pressure. read more

This has become my go to place for all of my computing needs. So far i have purchased a computer and accessories and upgraded another with a new system. Eduardo and his team are friendly and knowlegable, they really cared about my issues and resolved them quickly and at a fair price. Dont look anywhere else for all of your computing needs, these guys do it all! Easily can recommend 5 stars. read more

This is a good shop for your computer needs - PC and Mac ie: repairs and upgrades. Fair prices, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Used computers and ability to order or build new - there isn't much they don't do. They did a repair on my PC that had crashed that required a rush part shipment and got me going again within 24 hrs. The manager/owner speak excellent English and Spanish, walked me through the repair options and was extremely courteous and helpful. Street parking on the Danforth. Recommended. read more

I brought my computer setup couple weeks ago because there was a problem with it. They told me it was a Motherboard problem and that I had to replace it, however the processor (cpu) was working fine they said. We couldn't find spare parts because my setup was 3 years old, after a while they suggested that I should get a new motherboard and other expensive accessories (classic rip-off). I decided to do it on my own, went there and got my system back. Since they told me that my cpu was fine, I went ahead and bought a used motherboard, it gave a cpu error then I found out the problem was with my cpu. So I went ahead and bought another used cpu, and it worked just fine. Please don't trust this repairshop, they will try to rip you off by offering new parts which you don't actually need. I spent 400$ to make my system run again, I would've spent more than 600$ if I went with their plan. What good is a pc repairshop that can't even recognize a simple problem? I do not recommend this place if you have a complicated/serious problem with your hardware. If you have a simple issue then go ahead but I wont be working with them anymore! read more

this place has been my go to shop for computer purchases and issues for the last 7-8 years. eduardo and his dad oswaldo do a high volume based on low prices and reasonable service in our neighbourhood. the hp laptop they recommended and set up last time i purchased is 10x better than the 4 times as expensive toshibas i bought from business depot. i've also purchased computers for the kids and other hardware. in fact i am picking up a dedicated laptop for work only $280 set up later. some of the reviews with all the tech stuff complaining does nothing for me because all i know is as an online retailer who depends on his computer and service these guys come through. read more

I recently brought in my MacBook to fix because my screen and MacBook in general didn't want to turn on, so I brought it to IGS Systems to have it checked out. There's all positive comments here, one being they were able to solve the solution and fix the computer at a super reasonable price, so I'm a super happy customer. I was informed and updated on what was being done, very professional and gets the job done. read more

I have been buying computers from Eduardo for over a decade and he is THE MASTER! He has saved me many times. He is incredibly knowledgeable, resourceful and always remains patient and calm in the face of my panic. I will never buy a computer anywhere else and I will never take them anywhere else to be serviced. Completely reasonable pricing too! read more

A big thanks to the team at IGS. I thought my PC laptop was lost along with all of my data. They took a look at it, presented me with a couple of option, that were totally affordable and not only fixed it to brand new but saved all my data. And it only took a day. Would recommend to any one looking for help. read more

I recently went through an extremely stressful tech breakdown when my two-year-old dropped my external drive and all 220,000 of my files were unreachable. After first consulting with another company who classified my recovery as extremely difficult and reported a recovery timeline of 3-4 weeks, I contact Eduardo at IGS. After less than a week, my data is back in my possession. He was polite, informative and saved me a few bucks (& countless sleepless nights). I will use them for all of my IT needs going forward. Thank you! read more

Good prices and variety of refurbs and parts. Cheap low-end stuff which for me was great, needed nothing fancy. Prices go up in small increments which indicates better components - so what you see is what you get. Only issue is with repairs - take much longer than they tell you and they gave me a bit of a run around with what was wrong and then added to the list days later - all in all, although, you can trust what you buy, what you see is what you get, and get a quote first if you use them for repairs. read more

I think this guys are VERY dishonest people BEWARE!!! I dropped my computer because it stopped working and was told that the motherboard was dead, but the hard drive was just fine. Eduardo suggested that I bring an external hard drive or another computer to transfer my data, so I bought a new computer (from best buy) and brought it in. I was however given back the old computer without its hard drive. When I asked to have my old hard drive back they tried to give a dead 250 GB instead of my 750 GB hard drive. The guy said "I run the numbers and checked, that's your hard drive", so I came back home got the box and the computer to prove that mine was a 750 GB hard drive. The guy got supper defensive and said that I showed up there once and never said that I had to get my had drive back (what?!), that I had to leave my computer with him for him to look for it, that he shreds about 300 drives for "Sunny Brook" regularly... and some other non sense that had nothing to do with me. It took days for the guy to get back to me and when he did, he said "I run the numbers and you were right I've made a mistake not all 25 digits matched the other hard drive" . He said that he had found my hard drive on Thursday, but I couldn't pick it up until the following Monday or Tuesday because they were "too busy!". When I said that if it turned out not to be my hard drive or my data was missing, I would have to make a police report because I had sensitive work related data was I was responsible for keeping. Eduardo said " well, one of the partitions was corrupted, so it would have being deleted when transferring the data"...ALL NON SENSE!!! My guess is that they tried to refurbished my hard drive into one of their in store built computers and wiped it with that end in mind, then tried to give me a crappy dead hard drive in its place. Either way, I filed a police report, so if any one has had a similar experience or have their computer parts missing you should call (416) 808-2222 (police file reference # 1119296) and let them know. You can also contact the Better Business Bureau at 519 5793080 or report their bad business practices to the Ministry of Government and consumer services at 1800 8899768...or better still, save yourself the grief and go elsewhere!!! read more

My laptop was overheating and I sent out for a few quotes and ICS/IGS was the most reasonable price I found. Eduardo was very responsive to my questions. They replaced my fan and gave the internals a cleaning. No more crashing laptop anymore. Very open communication and a very reasonable prices. read more

Wonderful service at reasonable prices. Eduardo and Oswaldo listened to my (rather pathetic) sob story when my motherboard crashed with patience and none of the eye-rolling condescension that tends to surface in techs confronted with n00bs. They were very professional, and offered me several options to fix my problem, all at reasonable prices, and were very diligent in finding the best solution. And the service was fast, too! Couldn't be happier with I.G.S. read more
