Multiple blue trash bins are overflowing with garbage, with trash spilling onto the parking lot surface.

TRASH COMPANY, KEEP TRYING TO SCAM PEOPLE. I ordered a laptop and they said it was coming but after 2 weeks of waiting, i had to call them again and they said it's sold out. Wasted my time and haven't received my refund.

Case is cracking because of poor installation by CC technicians.

This was the only store for me for computer parts. I ordered online and CC failed to deliver them to me. Police are now involved.

This is the only store I go to for computer equipment simply because it has the best selection of quality components at the best prices.

This was my second visit during Doors Open and I did not regret making the trek to view the space again. Upon arrival, there is a sense of being in nature within a concrete office building. An exceptional reception desk, made out of light coloured wood assembled to look like a canoe, is to the left after walking through the doors. Straight ahead, there are a few steps or a couple of accessibility ramps on the right where the space is also used as an art gallery. For this years Doors Open, the art displayed were drawings and memories from children who attended camp. Once on the next level, the eye is drawn to the longhouse also made from a light wood. On this visit, I was able to join a tour that started in the longhouse and the guide was one of the centre's employees. We took the stairs up to the top floor after hearing a little about the building and Indigenous traditions such as the importance of their medicines - sage, sweet grass, tobacco and cedar which is the wood used for the entrance of the longhouse. Each level going up has animal imagery on the glass walls and doors. The climb to the top is rewarded with a peaceful space of a green roof right in the heart of the city. The structure that stands out on the roof is the healing lodge. Our guide shared some information about the meaning of using lodges (normally in nature outside of the city) to heal from any personal problems or to pray for family and friends who may be experiencing issues. When the tour ended, I was able to check out the interior of the lodge and take time to walk around the entire roof. I am so glad there is such a space for our Indigenous Peoples to go to for resources or just to visit to get away from the busy, fast paced, rat race city we call home. I absolutely recommend Native Child & Family Services to anyone who respectfully enjoys culture and architecture and appreciates learning about unacknowledged Canadian history.
