I had rodents living in the voids between my walls, which is a total nightmare. Before I found Fred, I had two of the "notable" rodent services in the Valley come out. Even though my attic was clean--no droppings, no signs of an actual infestation--they tried to scare me into "rat-proofing" packages ranging from $2,600 to $8,000. It felt like a total shakedown. Then I found Fred, and the experience was night and day: Honest & Fast: He was super responsive with scheduling and did the initial inspection completely free. Decades of Experience: Fred has been doing this for 20 years. He's a total pro, but also incredibly humble. I'd like to update my review since my first stellar review was for the initial estimate process…read moreonly and I said I would update (but forgot). It's been 5 years and we've had plenty of people up in our attic since Rodent Masters completed our job and any time someone goes up there, I beg them to check and double check to ensure there are no rodent droppings. During this time, we have not heard a peep in the attic which is a complete 180 from what we were hearing before - it always sounded like the rats were having a party up there in the middle of the night. The process took about a month from start to finnish because the first thing they do is cover and patch all holes or entrances up so that nothing can get in (or out) and not just outside of the house but inside the attic and inside every single area from within the house. It's a LOT of work but they did it very well. Then, they came back and, in our case, because things were so bad, they sucked out all of the insulation and then reinsulated the entire attic with much higher quality material than what had been removed. Then they came back on final time to ensure there was no activity. So, I have no reason not to continue recommending Rodent Masters and I have for the last 5 years. I do think I will contact them soon though just to have someone do a walk around to ensure there are no new holes that have developed since they were last here. Highly recommend and I'm glad to see that the reviews continue to be outstanding since the one I gave 5 years ago!

They have done a wonderful job of…read morekeeping ants away and with the monthly fee I pay, they do come by and do maintenance which has been effective. More recently, I ran into a rodent issue. The technician came and left a trap which as far as I can tell has been very infective. Given that I called to schedule an inspection. The time I was give my the coordinator was not conveyed to the technician as I waited 1/2 a day for him to contact me. It took 5 calls to the company to get a callback over a VOIP connection that was barely intelligible. The coordinator was able to get me in touch with the technician whose window for my appointment was 12 hours (as opposed to the 4 hour window I was given. While the scheduled services work well... communication (at last as of late) is sorely lacking and difficult. I would proceed with caution and am considering taking my business elsewhere as a result of this interaction. ADDENDUM: within an hour of placing this, the technician, Leon arrived. He provided a careful review of the situation and prepared a very reasonable plan to handle the issue. Customer service also called and apologized and acknowledged the error. It was good to see that the company was very responsive given what happened. They did right by me and I will continue my business with them.

The issue I had was with the lady on the phone at Reliant Pest Control. There is a miscommunication with her. Basically, the company is looking for more money from me. I used to pay $85.00 for a service call. I called a few days to book another appointment. The lady tells me that the price is gone up from $85 to $120 every 6 months.
