The inside of the coffee shop is on the smaller side with a couple of tables to use. It is more of a grab and go shop. The barista was super sweet and provided me with recommendations on what to try. I asked for their iced honey cinnamon latte with oat milk with half sweetness. The latte tasted great. The coffee shined through. I will definitely come back to try other drinks. This is definitely a great shop to check out if you are in the area.

Room was pretty good. This is a fairly newer hotel, so the decor was pretty nice. Suite was just a bigger room that didn't have a door separating the bedroom from the living area. Very comfortable bed! Bathroom is nice, especially with the big walk-in shower. Staff here were friendly, although it was basically limited to check-in since we got there so late. Did get some free waters because of my status. Location is right off the freeway and is next to some stuff. But I mean, we definitely didn't come all this way to just go to KFC or Jack in the Box. Did take advantage of the free breakfast though! It was pretty standard fare with eggs and your usual, nothing particuarly special. Parking is free, which is not a guarantee with a lot of hotels these days. Overally, it got the job done for staying overnight. Better than the previous Fairfield Inn that I stayed at in Palm Desert because it is a newer hotel.

Check-in was a bit slow, but the staff handled it professionally and kept their composure while acknowledging those of us waiting in line. After checking in to our facing the pool, which gave us a really great view for the weekend, we stepped out and dined in at Fisherman's Landing. The property is still in great shape and beautifully landscaped with tons of lush greenery. It's so easy to walk around, and we loved just sitting on a bench to relax, watch the boats sail by, people-watch, and catch the sunset together. Can't wait to get back!!

Driving in between the palm trees and landscape is a good first impression. The hotel definitely looks outdated. The lobby is the nicest thing about this resort. Get rid of the carpet already. The main pool was alright. Food is overpriced and below average. The overall feel is like an older, rundown Vegas resort. I have stayed at this resort in the past (years ago) and was pretty impressed. Not this time.

The prices were reasonable, and I liked that there were always different things to look through.
