Check-in was a bit slow, but the staff handled it professionally and kept their composure while acknowledging those of us waiting in line. After checking in to our facing the pool, which gave us a really great view for the weekend, we stepped out and dined in at Fisherman's Landing. The property is still in great shape and beautifully landscaped with tons of lush greenery. It's so easy to walk around, and we loved just sitting on a bench to relax, watch the boats sail by, people-watch, and catch the sunset together. Can't wait to get back!!

I don't like the fact that I have to worry about whether the nose of my car is going to get hit. Also ... there is more than one grouping of EVGo chargers in the Rancho Las Palmas Shopping Center parking lot ... HOWEVER.... Most of the chargers are down for maintenance .... So now .... Before I get out in this 111 Degree heat ... I call EVGo customer service directly to find out what's working and what's not.... A very stressful and time consuming process :-/

Sitting in your car with the AC running just lengthens charging time.

We booked two connecting rooms and stayed from Tuesday through Friday. Thankfully, the weather was more comfortable than our trip last July when we stayed next door at the JW Marriott. Now that heat was brutal! However, this time, the temperature was better. Granted, we didn't spend that much time outdoors. On the other hand, this was exactly the kind of vacation we needed. We went out for all of our meals, spent plenty of time hanging out (and napping) in our rooms, and enjoyed a slow, stress-free pace. On Wednesday evening, we headed to the pool, and the weather was ideal. It was around 85 degrees but felt closer to a cool 75. I didn't swim, but I enjoyed lounging by the pool and dipping my feet in the water while everyone else swam. The only drawback was that our air conditioning stopped working Thursday evening. Since we were checking out the next day, it wasn't the end of the world, but I definitely didn't want to spend the night in a warm hotel room with temperatures expected to stay in the high 80s overnight and climb into the 90s the following day. The staff responded quickly and offered either a different room or a portable/window A/C unit. We chose the A/C unit since we didn't feel like moving, and it worked out just fine (thank God!). In short, this was a peaceful, relaxing stay which was exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely return when we need to unwind.

This is a great place to charge in the area since it stays cooler than most spots, so definitely recommend it!
