I came in desperately needing a battery. Lucky for me they had what I needed. At first things were a bit rough (not due to them) because my battery terminal was being extremely difficult to remove due to age, heat, and corrosion but the super dedicated employee Josh didnt give up, he kept at it with cleaner and time and patience until slowly but surely it came off without any damage or anything which he warned me was a reason he wasnt sure he could do it. But he did! Saving me time and money that I cannot express how much I appreciate! Also he made sure I got the right size battery! I am so eternally grateful to him, I know it may seem small but to me this made my whole day so much easier and better! I will always remember this and this Autozone for this service. Thank you Josh! read more

Unfortunately I won't be returning to this Autozone after being a long time costumer here. Went in for help with a headlight and they're apparently not allowed to check or change that for costumers anymore. Also said they're not allowed to disclose why they can't, which is odd since I was there three months ago and had that same headlight replaced by a worker. Also couldn't pull up my account to check or exchange that same headlight since AGAIN it was brand new three months prior. Also went back in after repurchasing the bulb for a refund in which yes it was opened they also denied me of that as well. Ended up going to La Quinta Autozone where they both checked my headlight AND gave me a refund without hesitation. I don't know if your staff just doesn't want to work or let alone go outside because of the heat but they chose to apply and work there no one forced them of that. :) read more

Would not recommend this location. I went to get windshield wipers replaced before a 9 hour long roadtrip. The kid changing them dropped the wiper and cracked my windshield, great. I then wait 20 minutes in the store listening to them give the kid hell for not following policy and run around to figure out what to do next. The manager finally gets to me and says they will reimburse me for a replacement. I have less than 48 hours on a holiday weekend to get a replacement before my trip. I call 8 places who all say they cannot help me in such little time so I go with safelight(who were awesome and squeezed me in). I call the store to let them know I have my receipt and I'm coming in for my reimbursement and they are rude on the phone and try to make it harder on me to submit my receipt. So I go in store and the manager Hector says he can't give it to me until it's approved by his district manager and he most likely won't be available until after the new year! I asked him if the store has a policy for this knowing they do because the manager the day before had told me they do. He says yes but that he still can't help me. I have no money, the money for my trip was used to replace my windshield and I'm supposed to leave tomorrow morning at 6 am. I went through hell to get this all done and spent all my money I had just because I went to this store so save yourself from an experience like mine and keep driving passed this location. read more

I walked in with a completely died out car battery that was no more than 5months old and I believe his name tag read Felipe who assisted me. I was in there no longer than 10min. He took my battery and replaced it with a completely new one. I was very happy and pleased with his assistance. Thank you Felipe. read more

I took my van in yesterday as I suspected my battery might be bad. Javi H was really wonderful. I don't know a lot about cars and have dealt with people taking advantage of that so it was really refreshing to have someone test my battery, find an affordable battery replacement, and even take the time to show me what tools to use and what to do while he was putting it in for me. Thank you so much Auto Zone and Javi for your honesty and time. I appreciate the help and education immensely. read more

Very rude. I went in to ask a question and as soon as I stepped inside an employee with one arm yelled " what do you want?!" When I asked my question he told me to wait. He continued to talk to another employee in Spanish, it wasn't long before he started saying disrespectful things about the way I dress in Spanish. I am white but I speak Spanish. Anyway won't be back. read more

What Kind Of Business Is Being Ran Here Are All Customers Supposed To Be Ignorant. Not Only Did I Wait A Long Time To Purchase The Air Filter I Needed. To Make Matters Worse I Was With My Children Straight Off Work And Didn't Have Time To Check My Parts Box. Nor Did I Have Time To Replace The Part Early Than 10:45 pm. This Hasn't Happened To Me And I Hope It Won't In The Future. The Customer Service Is Poor And Unnecessary. There Were Three People Working And A Line Growing By The Minute. I Understand Everyone Has A Job To Do But When You Have A Growing Line The Customers OnThe Phone Line Can Wait Or Be Placed On Hold. While Your Customers In Store Should Be Taken Care Of First. With Every Business There Are Peek Hours Where Your Gonna Get Busy And Out Of Control For A Bit. What You Do To Be In Control Of This Problem Is Have All Hands On Deck Prepared For The Peek Hours. So Customer's Can Be Taken Care Of In A Timely Manner. read more

I like coming to this location because Roger the store manager always gives me great service! He has a good staff and his store is always clean and organized. I came in today in the morning he did not have the part I needed. Roger told me I'll have it by 12pm he called me at 10am to let me know that he has my parts ready. I was WOWED by his service! Not only did he get my parts early but he took the time to call me and let me know that they are there. He could of just waited till I showed up for them but he didn't! THANK YOU! read more

Stopped by to have them check my battery. They came right out and checked it and sure enough as we thought we needed a new battery. Walked in bought the battery, waited about 10 minutes they came out changed it for us and we were on our way. Very friendly guy. read more

Bought a premium battery a year ago that cost me over $200. It came with a 3 year warranty. After one year, the battery failed to hold a charge for more than 5 days if the car was parked for that long. I returned it for a pro-rated refund. The clerk asked what that was. I told him, but he said the warranty was only for a battery replacement. I agreed to take a replacement battery but he then stated that he had to give me a smaller battery because my premium battery was discontinued (their web-site says they are out of stock). Upon reviewing their battery products on-line, I found that they do not offer pro-rating on any batteries except for one. I won't be Buying any more batteries from AutoZone in the future because their warranties stink. Think I will be patronizing their competitors from now on. I have subsequently bought a great battery from Costco for half the price and a super warranty with pro-rating on every battery they sell. read more

A Little Small Inside But Quick And Ez

Came in earlier this evening to get a battery replacement and Samuel was "assisting" me not to mention he did not have the correct equipment. Apart from having to use my equipment I had in my car he made me wait around for about half an hour to get started and no it was not busy or understaffed. Horrible experience read more

I went in the store, asking if someone can assist me on a check up on the juice left on a battery. 2 employes immiadately said they will be happy to assist me, after doing a diognose on the battery they informed me that I indeed needed a battery to my supper old car. They never pruessured me into anything and tottaly let me pick on a battery that was very reasonable to my budget. Due to my car being so old the gentemen struggled to get my car back started, he never gave up, outside in 110 degree weather , never did he stop trying he was sweating excessively, I felt so specal, when he got my car up and running with my brand new battery. Theese guys were supper busy in the store, I dont know how they juggle such stress, but they do it with a smile. Special blessing to this Indio store they Rock !! Gilbert started the job, But Roger came in and finished the time consuming stressfull job !!! Thanks Roger, will def come back. !!! read more

Wow, what an experience. Dealt with Raul and he was class A all the way. Really helpful with an incredibly good attitude. But, the next day went back for more parts and got a guy named Roger, he was as rude and wierd as they come. Literally, he was attitude from the first words outta his mouth. Kinda ruined the experience of good treatment. Rule of thumb Roger, never bite the hand that feeds you. You actually are turning buyers back into shoppers or if anything making them not want to come back for repeat business. Not good for Autozone. read more
