Went in for check engine light diagnostic. Got a print out of issue. No cost. I quick pleasant experience.

Jacob was very nice and he was quick to help me and get what I needed. But then the issue came up where I wanted to buy a product that was on a buy one get one free. They only had one bottle on the shelf so I asked if I could take advantage of the buy one get one free pay for it now and when their next shipment came in, they could give me an IOU and I would come in and pick up the second bottle. They told me they could not do that. I thought that was absolutely hilarious. I asked him to ask his manager, but his manager walked up to the next register and just started taking people in line behind me. So I put the product back paid for the original product that I intended to get when I came in and any after sales were history. Now I know why my sister always goes to Napa. They would have at least given me a rain check Giving one star because the store was clean and one star because Jacob was nice and friendly. The other three stars are negative one for the manager negative one for not having inventory and -3 for not giving people who are not in management authority to do something so basic. Inconveniencing your customer is not the way to do it. I don't know if they're aware, but customers are what keep your doors open. Denying sales is asinine. read more

Melissa was very helpful with helping me find the products I needed and installing them.

I was in to get a new battery, Art and Robert went above and beyond in term of costumer service and satisfaction!

Auto Zone helped me find the right Air filter and coolant for my Honda, and they even changed the filter and added the coolant; I only paid for the goods, not the service. How refreshing to see a business go out of their way to help their customer's. 5 star rating for this business! read more

Aren't we lucky in these days to have all the parts and bits, big and small to see, hold and compare! Reliable and always ready to help:)

I have been going to Autozone for years as my main source for car batteries. Today, I visited the store to have an associate check the battery on my Chevy Tahoe. Although they were busy, an associate checked the battery right away and determined it had to be replaced. Fortunately, my battery was still under the warranty. Tim, the store manager not only exchanged the battery, but he took the time to immediately replace it and helped with its installation. I am providing this review to highlight his positive attitude and his willingness to assist someone who is not mechanically inclined. I want to express my appreciation to Tim and his staff. La Quinta Autozone is second to none. read more

Greatly appreciated!! This AutoZone will definitely be my new home store even though I live in Palm Desert! We need more Art's in this world!! Thank you Sir !! read more

This place is great! Jorge the manager even came out and brought better tools so we could replace our battery faster. Great experience.

Michael is awesome checked my truck everything A Ok recommend asking for him with any of your vehicle needs

All the representatives I've in countered are polite and professional, however the female from this morning at 9am she is rude unprofessional, and looks very bothered. If you are working in a company where it's your job to ask questions and you upset that early in the morning the consider a new carrier. read more

Not helpful. Went in there for wipers. First guy says aisle 4, but there is nothing left. Asked another guy. He asked what size. I had the wiper in my hand. I said I don't know. This size. Just looked at me with blank stare. No Bueno. read more

The people that work here are the absolute best. They bailed me out of a tough jam. They go beyond great customer service.

I needed windshield wipers. They were very helpful. They put them on for free, that's all I needed.

Marco (assistant manager) was extremely attentive and helpful when I had questions about my check engine light. I am a girl and it is no secret that we're known to not be the best with cars. He went above and beyond to help me figure out exactly what I needed. I kept asking questions and he answered what he knew and if he didn't, he would find ways to find answers for me. At no point did he make me feel bad or incompetent. I appreciated his help greatly! read more

So after my horrible experience at the location in Indio off Jackson (review posted for that location) my fathers battery died in his car. My dad wanted to try Costco, but I convinced him to try the LaQuinta, CA location as I know Auto Zone will install the battery for you. When I walked in I was greeted by Michael (this was around 7:30p). He was super helpful and walked out to the car with us then grabbed his tools and installed the battery. Literally took him less than five minutes. He held a conversation with us and seemed happy to help. When he finished my dad said "Now that's customer service!" Michael had no clue we had just had a bad experience at the Indio, CA location. There should be more team members like Michael. He exemplified the service and culture I'm used to when going to Auto Zone. Thank you sooooooo much Michael. My dad's back on the road driving all thanks to you. read more

The guy who helped me the other day was great. Unfortunately I didn't get his name but he helped me order an air filter and said when I came in to pick it up they would help me install it. Today when I came in I spoke to Luis B. He was very unhelpful. Said they would not help me install it even though the other guy told me they would. I asked him could he help me with fuel injector fluid I bought, again he said no. He said unless it's a battery or windshield wipers they won't help. I explained I've been here several times and they always help, he said well they aren't supposed to. I'll visit another store next time because every other employee seems very happy to assist but he definitely didn't care about customer service. read more

Back in the day, independent auto parts stores were plentiful in most towns across America. Today, it's pretty much AutoZone, Napa and a few other chains. They've become the CVS/Walgreens of auto parts. My in laws haven't been keeping up w maintenance and suddenly the oil gauge was at 0 and the warning light on the dash was on. We went to the counter to confirm what type and weight oil we needed. The last time I bought oil it was $1.49qt, fast forward to today and bam, over $5qt. Yikes! We paid the ransom and took 3qts. That barely got us up to the fill line so we were back in grabbing another 2qts. The counter people were helpful to me but gave this little old lady the blow off who was in need of a new battery in her key fob. Overall the store has a good variety of fluids, parts and accessories for your car or truck. Tools, floor mats, cleaning solutions, batteries, fuses and electrical stuff and more. They even have a rewards program for frequent shoppers. read more

Great customer service, I went in to get a battery for my Auntie's Nissan Sentra, right when I hit the door I was Greeted with help from a face I haven't seen at this store. The gentleman asked me what I was working on I told him a battery for my Auntie's Nissan Sentra, we then preceded to go to his computer to look up the part, I told him which one I wanted he then went to the back got the part and went outside in this 106 Degree weather to replace my battery. I didn't know that this guy was one of the Big Bosses from Autozone getting his hands dirty for a customer and that was good to see. Thank you the entire La Quinta Autozone Store, you guys are awesome. read more

SO grateful for Manuel. I was in La Quinta for work and my battery died. Manuel was able to help me figure out exactly what I needed, taking customer service to the extra mile. One of the best autozone experiences I have ever had. read more

Laziest Autozone employees I've ever met. Usually when I go into an Autozone the employees help with installation when it's minor stuff. I've came twice and both times they refused to help. The first time I bought windshield wipers and it was sprinkling. I was alone and the guys said he couldn't help me install them. The second time our car died in the parking lot RIGHT IN FRONT of autozone and they refused to help jump the car or help install the battery. Once I got upset and asked if they really weren't going to bother to help in any way Jonathan theeen said if we left our ID we could borrow his jumper cables. Didn't offer to help with the battery instal. Not sure if I've been lucky at other places or if I was really unlucky to come to this one but they couldn't even bother to assist in any way, shape or form. read more

Came in here to buy tire chains. The guy working the computer didn't know what he was doing. Asked another person to help. He typed in my tire use and said nope. We don't carry them. Went to the O Reilly in Indio and they said it's a common size. This place has terrible customer service. read more

This place is usually handy with a lot of things. Today, not so much. I want to rave about their new employee Mohammed. Only be their a month and is light years above their parts manager. Smiling and very welcoming. The Parts Manager, Jose B was very rude and not wanting to go the extra mile to help me. Did not want to take my return for a stud which was ridiculous. Go for the employee Mohammed, leave for the Parts Manager Jose B. Bummer. read more
