These guys rock! Nick, the manage is always on top of things, and willing to go out of his way to accomidate customers. I used to think he just liked me as a customer, and thought I was a cool guy. When I am in the store I see Nick is that way with every customer he works with, and he makes them feel relavent, gives them his full attention, and fully accomadates any auto needs they might have. He and his staff are also extremely knowledgable. They give good, suggestions for any problem you might be trying to work out. The store is consistantly clean and well stocked with a vast selection of items to choose from for you vehicle. On the way home on day my engine light came on and I called these guys and they said bring it in and they'd hooked it up to their diagnostics and see what it says. They printed out a list of parts that needed replaced. This included all options ranging in price. Then they steered me to a filter spray that could be all I needed. Short Story - Went in for a battery and received the most bizarre and oblivious lack of customer service that i have ever experienced. After 20 or more minutes of being forced to wait i finally just demanded a refund and left. You lost a newly local customer for good. The customer service at this store is incredible! Nick demonstrated in living form the meaning of sacrificial service and willingly went above and beyond the call. I was on vacation in Lake Arrowhead area where my car died on me with no notice. Upon having AAA tow it to a local repair shop I learned that my car battery was completely dead and that I needed a new battery. I told the repair guy that my duralast battery was purchased from Autozone and that it was still under warranty. The repair shop guy said that he could not help me with my warranty and I had to speak directly with the store to see if it could be honored. I called the La Quinta store and spoke with Nick, the assistant manager. He was so helpful and found a way for me to get a new battery and bring my dead on back in when I came back home. Buying a battery from this company is amazing as the warranty is 3 years and they put it in for no charge if and when the battery fails. In the Extreme Desert heat this is known to happen often. I was 8:35pm and my battery died about a block from the store. I called and the store closed at 9:00pm. I walked to the store, Jose R. let me use a mobile handheld jumper so I wouldn't need to carry the battery, went to jump the car, drove it to the store, they gave me the tools to disconnect it, they tested the battery, it was dead, I needed to buy another one (I didn't necessarily like the raised price), I was able to change the battery and was on my way in about 30 minutes. Took my auto battery to this location because it needed some "charging". As soon as I walked in some guy in a grey shirt was stading behind the register just staring lol I tried to ignore it and looked around for somebody (else) that looks friendly and ready to help (Some weird vibes were telling me to skip this guy. Too bad I didn't get his name. He was short, hispanic with an accent), but then he asked 'May I help you'? I told him my problem. We went outside with his hand-held computer that reads batteries. After diagnosing it, he stated that the battery was good and that I must have another issue such as the starter. I asked him for a print out of the results. He said he needed to go inside and get another machine that works lol. As I waited for him, I noticed he went on to help other customers. I go inside to see why I am waiting. He said he was also waiting. For what? I dont know. At this point, I am so overwhelmed that anything else he said was irrelevant and excuses or so I felt. It was hot outside so I thought maybe I was just being irritable and impatient, but I couldn't help and display a little irritability. Lisa, another employee, was near and started asking me questions. The other guy just walked away. At first, I thought to myself "She cannot help me!" But she did seem sincere and displayed sympathy. So, after asking me some questions, she suggested that I simply charge the battery at no cost and take it from there to see if it's the battery or another issue. She said the process would take approximately an hour. When I came back from nearby shops, the battery was already installed in my car and she said that it was all I needed -a charge! I knew it! Lol Sure enough that was all. Anyway, Lisa was great. I'm glad I didn't listen to that weirdo guy that I first dealt with. Just wanted to say that Lisa's attitude made it all better. Even if she didnt have all the answers, her postive attitude and willingness to help and seek answers was refreshing! read more

I went in to order rear hatch window supports for my 06 explorer. I waited in line until it was my turn. While he was looking up the parts I needed, he answered the phone and looked up parts for them while I WAS STANDING IN FRONT OF HIM! He said he didn't have the parts but could have them Monday. He called Saturday to let me know they had arrived. I stopped to pick them up on Sunday. I waited be hind a guy buying a battery. When he finished with him I asked for the parts that were ordered. (and paid for) He told me he could not help me. He had to go look up parts for the other line. I asked him to please give me the parts that I could see right behind him. I told him they were already paid for. He said no, directed me to the end of the other line again. I said I would wait in the other line. Just not for the parts, but a refund. He agreed. I waited, he asked was I sure I wanted a refund the parts are right here on the counter. Needless to say. I got the refund and asked to be removed from his preferred customer list.
