5 stars for service and flavor…read more I happened upon this food truck at a small event, and the guy who runs it is so charming. He greeted us warmly, asked us if we liked meat, then immediately gave us samples of each! I was wooed. He was a smooth talker. The lamb is succulent and my favorite. The chicken was great, but steer clear if you're not a fan of the flavor that comes with charring. The kafta was my second favorite meat. They were beef meatballs with Moroccan‐seasoned BBQ rub spices. Even though the meat was amazing, I settled on a lighter dish: the spinach & feta sandwich. Each sandwich is a pita wrap with diced tomatoes and onions. You can get the Harissa sauce in the sandwich or on the side. It's a mild level of spicy. It lingers on your palate for awhile after you're finished--a satisfying feeling. The truck also serves plates with the same meats--all plates are gluten free too. The sides for each plate are saffron rice and Moroccan green beans. There's even baklava for desert.

Overall, not terrible but I was expecting more for the price. Shawarma was not very big. Chicken was ~4 large pieces. Not broken down at all. Smaller chunks would make it much easier to eat and would be more like every other shawarma I ever had. Flavor was decent. People who don't like spicy probably should omit the red sauce. Everyone has different tolerances for that. Don't think it is a traditional sauce and more like Frank's red hot or similar anyway. Hummus size was not terrible for $5. But, I have gotten a larger container of very good fresh made for less elsewhere. The hummus itself was not bad but again I expected more for the price. Just a few small pieces of tomato dropped in it. No oil or spices or anything on top like I'm used to for this price. The "warm pita" that comes with it was not warm at all and kinda stale. Hard and chewy. Not enough to go with the size of hummus either.

Parking is plentiful and they have a bright light for late night runs. The tacos are always fresh and hot. I got to steak tacos and some esquite. I was happy to see the esquite wasn't full of water like some other spots. Everything was delicious. But be prepared to pay $5 per taco.

My husband and I come here a couple times of month for a late dinner and the food is always great…read more The wait times can be very long and several times we've encountered that our buzzer is broken/never alerted us to our food being ready so we wait a long time before going up to check on it to discover it's been sitting up there. They have really expended their whole food truck area over the last year with more lights, tables, tents, and the buzzers to let you know when your food is done. Our go-to is the pastor burrito. They are always juicy and flavorful and filled up as much as they can be (some burritos we have gotten from other taco spots have too little filling and a lot of loose tortilla, but not here). They have great tacos as well. We decided to bring my sister and BIL with us after we went to a Halloween event at Newfields and they loved it. If someone in your group doesn't like tacos/burritos, then they have plenty of other things to try or there are many other food trucks over here now and they could get a different type of food entirely.

It was a Friday night and the bar & restaurant were packed! We sat downstairs below the restaurant where they have a second bar. The chips and salsa were yummy. So were the $5 drink specials. I believe it was a tamarind Margarita that night--tangy with just the right amount of punch. One of our friends familiar with Cholita suggested we come back for Sunday Brunch which is exactly what we did a couple weeks later. The service was excellent and the food even better. I thought it was a great value too. I loved everything we ordered and enjoyed the DJ in a cute setting as well.

That was tasty! For appetizers, we ordered Chips and Guacamole plus Queso Fundido. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful. The queso was rich and perfectly seasoned. The highlight of our meal came when we spotted a dramatic presentation at another table. A server carried out a dish on a sword. We asked our server, Anabelle, about it. She described the Taco Espada (Taco Sword), and we immediately knew we wanted it. This showstopper features Fischer Farms ribeye, pork sausage, adobo chicken, roasted peppers, onions, melted queso fundido and creamy bacon and chile de arbol salsa. It's served with warm tortillas, fresh guacamole and charro beans. Each meat was cooked to perfection. Every bite burst with flavor. There was plenty of food for all four of us. Anabelle was a delight. She was cheerful and friendly, checking on us at the right moments without hovering. She gave us a heads up about the wait time for our entree, which we appreciated. Her attentive service enhanced an already great meal. The decor is perfect. Love the artwork throughout the restaurant
